Newsbusters on Ziegler's Interview With Lauer

Newsbusters has posted a great article on my hero John Ziegler's interview with Matt Lauer this morning.

Go read the whole thing. It's awesome, and includes some highlights from the unseen footage of the Palin interview.

One thing that jumped out at me:

O'DONNELL: In Zeigler's interview in early January, Palin expands on her answer, explaining that her reading habits do differ from some in the lower 48.

PALIN FROM DOCUMENTARY: We read on-line, especially up here, because sometimes some newspapers don't reach us for a couple of days.

Makes sense to me.

Here's the video of the Lauer interview:

Don't forget that
Ziegler's documentary is now available on DVD. It contains the full unedited 45 minute Palin interview as a bonus feature.

I hate Ziegler; he's got two speaking slots at CPAC..dammit, this guy more concerned with his pocketbook than anything but hey, that's capitalism.

This opinion puts me in the minority on this blog but I think guys like Ziegler create too much static that get us to talk more about Palin in the context of media unfairness rather than Palin in the context of the woman who took on her own party and possesses a vast amount of knowledge regarding why tapping non-renawable resources is vital because rewable resources won't be available for the next ten years.

So yeah, I am developing a healthy disdain for Ziegler. And shit, I loved the Greta interview, hahahah, so Ramrocks and I don't agree at all. I hope John enjoys his 15 minutes, same with Joe the Plumber, and I hope we never hear from them again in the context of any conversation involving the 'Cuda.

No worries. JR feels similarly. I think Ziegler is doing a great service by taking apart the distortions bit by bit. I think it's unfair to claim that he's just in this for the money. Ziegler committed the cardinal sin in making this documentary: He used his own money. He spent his savings on producing this. Everything he owns is in this documentary. I sincerely pray that he gets it all back again.

And besides all that, Ziegler loves the Guv and will go to the mat fighting for her (no pun intended).

For the record, he stated that he spent around $100,000 of his own money on the project. Is he in it for the money? I am sure that he wants to get his $100,000 back. LOL. I don't care if he makes a profit on it. He has already put a heckuva lot of energy into the project. Furthermore, Sarah's take on the campaign has been recorded for us and future generations.

Hey guys, unrelated here, but did you see the new link called "Economic Stimulus Information" that just showed up on the good Gov's website: www.gov.state.ak.us, which leads here:
http://omb.alaska.gov/10_omb/budget/IndexEconomicStimulus.htm

It lists all her stim press releases with dates so people can see the facts, plus analyses and other info. ...

I think this is a great site for us to bookmark and point misinformed people to during all these defensive manuevers for the good gov's position on the stim.

Zeigler should be commended for doing this. I have no problem with someone trying to make money, especially when he took all the risks (financial and otherwise). Thats what America is all about. Have we forgotten what capitalism is so soon?

To Anon at the top - How can you despise Ziegler for wanting to set the record straight and trying to make money out of it. You can tell he wants more to set the record straight than to make big bucks out of it. Even if he does make money out of it. So what? At least he deserves it for all the work he put into it. He's my hero. :)

None of us should be talking about the Couric interview; I never want to hear about that interview ever again from someone on our "side." Let her adversaries bring it up, not her supposed friends.

Anytime Ziegler talks, he always talks about that interview. I haven't heard anyone talk about that interview for two weeks until Ziegler showed his face again. Please just go away John, hope you made a buck.

By the way, 'Cuda's office is on record saying that Ziegler misled them about when he would first play snipets of the documentary. This guy is untrustworthy as hell.

I have no particular problem with Ziegler, I understand what he is doing and I really appreciate the effort. I appreciate that somebody is taking these clowns to task.

But we need to get away from this past election. Had this thing come out in late dec. or early Jan. ... it would have been cool.

Let's move forward
