HuffPo's Sarah Palin Foot Fetish
The Huffington Post actually has a poll and a slideshow up about Governor Palin's toenails. No, I'm not kidding, and it's already got hundreds of poisonous comments.
This reminds me of the numerous wire photos of the Governor's feet and lower legs during the 2008 campaign, and the interest seems to be continuing. For instance, Ben Smith's Politico piece from last Saturday's Auburn visit included this quote:
Her four-car motorcade, including two black SUVs provided by the New York State Police, then headed to Seneca Falls, where Palin, bright red toenails visible in open shoes, trooped through a museum that focuses on the 19th-century origins of the American women’s movement in Upstate New York.
Why is the liberal media so interested in the Governor's feet? Are they podophiles?
By the way, the author at the HuffPo, Senior Style Editor Anya Strzemien, is the same person who also posited that the Governor's lipliner is tattooed on -- another HuffPo piece that generated hundreds of comments.
But remember that conservatives are the sexist ones!

This kind of stuff is pure sexism. It's really sad that is being promoted without anyone calling people out on it. Never mind, the rule does not apply when it comes to conservatives.

Sexist or not, I think her toenails look awesome. Sarah is beautiful, and they are covering her, like they cover MO's fashion sense.

I'm going to have to say that I think what is painted on her toes is the State Flag of Alaska!!!
Compare her big toe to the Alaska flag...it's too similiar!

This is a new level of stupidity, even for them.
See, sometimes, when the sun hits a glossy, convex surface (like a polished toe nail, for example), the light reflects off the surface in a way that may appear white in a photograph.

For sisters Mary Anne Cooper and Sue VanHoltz, the lengthy wait to see Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin on Saturday proved to be well worth the hours spent.
Cooper and VanHoltz had positioned themselves at the Memorial City Hall parking lot since early morning in hopes of persuading Palin to sign their copies of a biography on the Alaska governor.
"I have a special needs grandson and I want to give him the book," VanHoltz, of Auburn, said shortly before Palin's parade car came to rest in the heavily guarded parking lot.

I love the look! Red is a bold color. She doesn't fit the stereotype of an extreme right wing evangelical who burns books.
All those silly attacks on Gov.Palin are tokens ,that their attacks on Gov.Palin are running out of steam.
Their attacks on Gov.Palin have no substance anymore. It is just silly and petty.
I could be mistaken but I’m pretty sure that when I was watching the story today about Judge Sotomyer fracturing her ankle on Fox news I noticed that when they did a close up of her leg in the cast it appeared that Her toenails were painted red as well.
What a bunch of freaks. Anybody who focuses on her toenails out of all her physical attributes has some issues I think.

I once dated a girl whose toenails were painted black. I was like, "Hey, your toenails are painted black." She was like, "Yeah."
Communication wasn't her strong suit.
I was in Auburn last Saturday to see Sarah Palin. Actually, I barely saw her at all because I couldn't see over the enormous crowd, so I never saw her feet. But I knew the precise second when she stepped to the podium because the crowd went ballistic! Even the few protesters there dropped their signs and applauded :~)

Jealousy is a liberal hearted monster, not a green eyed monster as I was told. They can’t compete with her no nonsense approach to policies so they attack her toe nail grooming. It’s a head scratcher.
HuffPo is just obsessed with her feet, her skirt length, her lipstick, everything. They have nothing on her so they resort to the bizarre. That said, The Ordinary Barbarian in me very much appreciates this picture that Bean Counter linked to in another thread. Scroll down just a bit until you see the pictures of Michelle Obama on the left and Governor Palin on the right. Quite a difference, wouldn't you say?

Paul - couldn't look at that photo but for a few seconds - starting smelling something really bad :) that photo is a great example of why liberal women are not only afraid of Sarah, but all conservative women. Conservative women are not only smarter than the liberal clucks but they are far more beautiful!
I made it through one page of comments at huff"n"puff before I had to let it go, or break something. These liberals are such children, all acting like hateful 12 year olds bashing another girl for not being as ugly in reality as they are inside their shriveled little souls.
The more I see the Governor, the more I feel she's the one to tke up Ronald Reagan's mantle. My wife's a PUMA, and she loves Mrs. Palin, my daughter just turned 10, has a role model in her vastly superior to any pop culture person.
She's our hope for the future, in our family,. The hate directed at her by the idiot left, only confirms her being the right person, if she were no threat to them, they'd ignore her. But instead, they try to destroy her reputation..
a thing not missed by the many female democrts in my wife's family. They see what the dems do to a powerful female figure they don't like, and are not impressed. I forsee, some new Palin voters in the future.
