Barbarians, Assemble!
Summer is here with the smell of BBQ in the air. And the first ever Barbarian Convention in Virginia area will be taking place.
I'll be donning the hat of a community organizer, so to speak. I'm compiling a list of names, dates and places of where people would like to meet. If you are interested in going, please email me at: dcore42@gmail.com.
I've been to a couple of these before -- for another website*, not C4P -- and they have been lots of fun. Always enjoyable meeting the fellow commenters and putting faces to the names.
UPDATE: The last meet up was a themed event. The instructions where to dress up as the typical Obama voter. The results speak for themselves.

OT: I may be late on this one, but I stumbled upon a Hot Air post re: more mean-spirited Trig photos. No need for C4P to call extra attention to the site (Wonkette), but it's a good reminder that there is some persistent hate/spite out there. What a daunting task to combat it all.

I could really go for a cinnamon raisin bagel right now. It's those middle of the night can't sleep munchies that'll get you every time. Actually, blueberry bagel sounds better. Of which I have neither.

So, what you are trying to write is that you have no "actual responsibilities", unlike a small- town mayor. LOL.
I am on the West Coast, so I doubt that I would be able to make it. But, I hope that it will be fun.

You're a busy boy! I feel lucky to live so close to a community organizer. You already have my Moron meet-up info and secret Delta Chi name, so count me in on the Barbarian Bash. And to everyone else, if you don't have any C4P gear, stock up before your respective (notice I didn't say respectable!) gatherings.

I will not be there, but will hold my own meeting of one in Spain. Remember the overseas foreign barbarians when you raise your glasses!
I would certainly be into meeting up with my fellow C4Pers but it would have to be in the NE Ohio/NW PA area. I'm not sure if there are any around here though besides me.
Count me in for a California/Western-US gathering!!

I'd love a Southern C4P gathering sometime. Nashville is touted as being centrally located for about 60% of the country. . . just a thought.
