Eddie is just too cool!!
Eddie and Chuck are so funny!
Chuck: "I have to be careful of my language." LOL!!
Chuck is right. Liberals are afraid of Sarah.
piper 2044
Chuck is AWESOME. What a wonderful man and a great father. He raised Sarah right. Love the way he talks, he wanted to cuss so bad, he reminds me so much of me, say what you feel, but gotta be careful of the language LOL. Piper is just cute as a button. What an adorable little girl. I'm telling you all, this girl is gonna run for Governor one day, then President, I just see it in her future, it's in her blood
That's funny, I could have sworn she said, "Don't Trust Me"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-mWqr8pb2MY&feature=fvst
Don't let that cute routine fool you. The speed dialing you heard in the background was Piper calling her publicist. I think she's got her eye on NY in 2010. Patterson's a sitting duck.
1st time I heard Mr. Heath. Sounds exactly as I thought he would. Great guy.
That is such a nice video. It's neat to hear the people that are behind the scenes in Sarah's life and that really matter to her. It reminds you she's a real person--not just someone we read about and see on the TV. Chuck reminds me of people like my own dad, willing to defend me and my family and not caring how he does it. Piper is a quite kid. I like how she said "I don't know" when she was asked if she wanted to go back out on the campaign trail again. Quite ambivalent--she's got the lingo down! :)
Eddie had a ball today!...
Great Show!...I know because he told me so!
People, read the comments at this liberal site:

Rush has lost a lot of weight; he's on Greta right now and he looks very good.
Of course, he's trashing Obama. He said something pretty profound: "If the government can take it away from you, it's NOT a right".
Rush looks like a new man. Incredible. Love what he is saying in the interview.
rush is killing tonight.
WTF? I thought Amanda Carpenter was trying to get this story right. Now she's spouting off about possible criminal sanctions against the Governor.
http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2009/jul/24/hot-button-74924963/
Al,
Here is where Amanda got confused:
She hasn't been able to distinguish between "the investigator finding probable cause" and "the board will find Palin guilty."
It's the process that hasn't been explained. That's what needs to be explained. Amanda has misread the AP report. Whoever is e-mailing her should communicate better where she made the error instead of making off tangent points about possible connections.
Just indicate to Amanda where her error is and don't add additonal information. Her error is clearly that the "The Associated Press reported Tuesday evening that Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin will be found guilty of violating ethics rules in one of the 19 ethics complaints that have been filed against her."
You cannot blame this on the Associated Press when the AP never said it. Amanda misread it and those of you who contacted her didn't point that out.
Amanda Carpenter isn't the brightest bulb in the bunch. Didn't we already try to convince her the story she was spewing was wrong. What is her problem
I went on Amanda's twitter page to set things straight. The problem is, these people are reading the AP Obama, they are in the tank for him, of course every piece about Sarah is a hit piece
Carpenter seems to cover her butt on this one; she uses a lot of vague language, like "possible" and "if" and "may". It's clear that she is NOT saying this is definite - read it for yourself:
"Possible punishment
The Associated Press reported Tuesday evening that Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin will be found guilty of violating ethics rules in one of the 19 ethics complaints that have been filed against her, citing a leaked report from someone investigating the matter.
Although the report is not final and the State Personnel Board overseeing the matter has made no official statement, the AP story left many people wondering what consequences Mrs. Palin could face and whether the leak could kill the report.
"It is supposed to remain confidential, but it would not necessarily jeopardize the investigation," said Stacy Moon, vice chairwoman of the Professionalism and Ethics Committee of the Voice of Defense Bar.
According to the AP, the board will say that Mrs. Palin improperly used her public image to raise money for the legal defense fund created to fend off complaints made against her as an elected official.
If she did violate the ethics act, Ms. Moon said that under the most harsh circumstances, Mrs. Palin could be ordered to pay the state twice the amount of the financial gain incurred, a $5,000 fine and face additional criminal sanctions."
Pure speculation about what may happen if she is found guilty. The entire story is all supposition.
love piper and grandpa heath.. !!
-Palin Democrat
yeah, Amanda's story is inane. She got a stupid quote from that Bar Asscn. idiot and ran with it.
I understood that. I used the word "possible".
This stuff can spread around and become insidious. The original AP story used the word "may" which Amanda and others translated to "will".
I hate the media.
amanda is not the brightest bulb.. she needs to read that WSJ article that came about all this today..
"Its unethical to defend yourself agn ethical charges"
WSJ lays it put perfectly.. and says how assisine this "independent" finding is..
sorry I don't have the WSJ link.. but the title is pretty close to what it was.. and I think it was today or yesterday..

Yogi,
Here is what Amanda doesn't get:
"The Associated Press reported Tuesday evening that Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin will be found guilty of violating ethics rules in one of the 19 ethics complaints that have been filed against her, citing a leaked report from someone investigating the matter."
What she wrote there is completely inaccurate. In fact, she is the one completely misconstruing what D'Oro wrote. D'Oro should be upset at Carpenter for going beyond her article. The AP never reported what Carpenter claims it reported. She doesn't understand why it's an error and probably won't ever understand.
test
Carpenter should also realize that Gov. Palin cannot violate the ethics law without accepting the trust funds, which she hasn't done. This whole process will basically result in an advisory opinion on whether it would be appropriate to use the trust funds to help pay her bills. (Or Van Flein and the investigator will work out a deal before it goes to the board.) The notion that there will be an ethics violation finding or penalties at the end of this is laughable.
"The Associated Press reported Tuesday evening that Alaska Gov.
Palin could face and whether the leak could kill the report."
The first paragraph is inconsistent with the second paragraph. How could the AP simultaneously report that Palin will be found guilty and report that the report is not final? If anybody should be pissed, it's actually the Associated Press and Rachel D'Oro for making it seem as if they completely slimed Palin when Carpenter herself is the one who is doing it unintetionally through her misreading of what the AP reported.
See, I comprehended it differently, Tommy.
She states that the AP is reporting it and then in her second sentence, she explains that the report is not final and suggests that the AP left many people wondering about any consequences to the Governor.
To me, it reads as if her report is about how the AP jumped the gun with its reporting that the Gov. has been found guilty. She, Amanda, is not reporting that the Gov. has been found guilty; in fact, she goes as far as to explain that nothing is final.
Anyhow, that's how I understood it to read.
Yogi,
If that was her intention to make the AP look bad, I think she failed and only succeeded in making Palin look worse.
I didn't pick up on that at all. If I was a neutral reader, the only thing I would get from her last two articles is that the AP has reported that Palin will be found guilty.
The AP never claimed that. What Carpenter has effectively done is put me in the position of having to defend the AP and Rachel D'Oro because they never said that.
Either way, I guess we should just drop it or that's been the suggestion.

***********
Exactly. Well put.
Amanda's article is disgraceful.
Obviously just wants the focus on her, not sure why anyone would think Amanda supports Palin after this ...
I sent her an email to the link to Daniel's report and asked her to read it again. I told her if she was still confused maybe she needed to go back and work on her reading skills. The report was pretty straight forward about what he was and was not saying.
The use of "guilty" in this context also isn't right, and makes things seem worse than what they are. Nobody is accused of any criminal violation. This is a civil matter.
I'm reading some of these tweets that some of you are sending her and it's unproductive to get into non-sequiters such as Cole's statement. That is not relevant to Carpenter's article and calling the AP article "bogus" is irrelevant as well.
What is "bogus" actually is Carpenter's statement as to what the AP allegedly reported. That's the point, not these non-sequiters.
This sentence is the primary error in Carpenter's two articles (not anything else)
"The Associated Press reported Tuesday evening that Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin will be found guilty of violating ethics rules in one of the 19 ethics complaints that have been filed against her, citing a leaked report from someone investigating the matter."
Gang,
Forget the report by Daniel. She needs to re-read the AP article.
Provide her with a link to the original AP article since she is actually misrepresenting what Rachel D'Oro said!
She won't read the Daniel report. That's a non-sequiter.
Tommy,
"The AP never claimed that. What Carpenter has effectively done is put me in the position of having to defend the AP and Rachel D'Oro because they never said that."
Yech. I've been there, ONCE having to defend, of all people, Tina Fey, so I know the feeling. It makes you feel so dirty.... :)
I'm not a Carpenter fan; I think she's weak on Bill O'Reilly (allows him to push her around), so I can only share how I comprehended what she wrote. I can absolutely understand how it can be construed in several ways, so either she's a terrible reporter or a genius writer. :)
Yes, Amanda made it worse, assuming
the charges were true, and then trying to assess a penalty for them, WTH is the "Voice of the Defense Bar" and why does their opinion matter. We're not even talking about a criminal complaint.
The complaint was trumped up, Daniel's reasoning is a reach, I can't believe she is being this uncomprehending by accident
narciso:
"I can't believe she is being this uncomprehending by accident."
Of course not. These articles are read by 1000's. She thinks before she writes, and she has tracked down someone to give her a quote: Palin's punishment.
Amanda,
I believe you are miscomprehending what the AP reported late Tuesday evening regarding Sarah Palin and her legal defense fund.
Here is a link to what the AP reported:
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090721/ap_on_re_us/us_palin_ethics_complaint
Nowhere in the article can I find support for your statement that the AP "reported Tuesday evening that Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin will be found guilty of violating ethics rules in one of the 19 ethics complaints that have been filed against her, citing a leaked report from someone investigating the matter."
The AP, in the article that I have linked, only reported that the independent investigator found that Palin "may have violated ethics laws by trading on her position in seeking money for legal fees."
I fail to see how you concluded that she "will" be found guilty based on the AP report.
If someone who hasn't e-mailed Amanda could e-mail what I just wrote to her and add nothing else (no non-sequiters about reading Daniel's report or Cole's statement or any other statement), I'd appreciate it.
I feel that Amanda has not been notified about her actual error and any additional information will only serve to confuse her. Just notify her of her mistake and see if she finally gets it.
Thanks.
The event preceding Chuck Heath calling in was that during a break, someone called the station, and in a excited voice asked if they (KBYR) had heard that Chuck Heath had died. They knew they couldn't just report that without confirmation, so a call was made to Chuck Jr. who said he was sure it was false but he would check.
Chuck Sr. called because of the bogus rumor.
It was a great show, especially since someone other than Ricci what's his name was helping Eddie.
Piper is such a cutie!
Another poll at ktuu.com
Was the recent leak of an ethics investigation report on Gov. Sarah Palin a disclosure that benefits the public or an abuse that threatens the legal system?
Thanks for posting that interview, it was alot of fun.
guys the problem is amanda didn't even read the frickin report since it doesn't even recomend an ethics violation but instead to settle the issue. lazy reporting. this is what the media in general has become.
Baboon,
Actually, the bigger issue is that Amanda doesn't understand the AP article about the Daniels report.
It's not a matter of Amanda not reading the report in my opinion....it's a matter of her completely miscomprehending the fricking AP article!!!
TommyReport,
its a drive by :)
Baboon,
There's been some contact with amanda so it's not an intentional drive-by.
It's just an instance of a reporter seriously not understanding her clear error.
The AP and Rachel D'Oro are the ones who she really smeared in this instance if you want to be technical.
TommyReport,
You're right that she's misreading the AP article. But why does she choose to rely on the AP's description of a report that any one of us can find on the internet (or this website)? Can't she read the five page report and draw her own conclusion of what it means?
Sorry, but what's not to understand? It's not rocket science. If you're going to report something, check out the whole story first.
I thought that's what you're supposed to do before you report, or even give your opinion.
Daniel,
Thank you for posting this interview. Great stuff!
It seems bizarre that Amanda would resort to the DRI seeing as their agenda is certainly not conservative:
http://www.alston.com/firm/events/Detail.aspx?event=3280
By the way, isn't that the firm that Daschle worked form when he was in Washington?
The ultimate effect here is that Carpenter will look like an idiot who can't comprehend plain english. She's probably a RomneyBot waiting to bust a move and jumped the gun too soon. I doubt if she's this genuinely dense. If she is, she's not worth paying attention to anyway.
ABC are a bunch of hacks
"but fell within her first month on the public stage,
after criticism of her $150,000 in wardrobe and related expenses."
And if Carpenter's main claim to fame is that she appears on O'Reily, then that's a pretty thin resume, in that O'Reily himself doesn't always let the facts get in his way of his opinions. His reasoning is plain weird sometimes and completely devoid of common sense. Letting Carpenter come on his show to be a conservative voice could be evidence of it. I don't know Carpenter from Adam or Eve, and after this little fiasco I'm not about to bookmark her anytime soon.
Ktuu poll:
Was the recent leak of an ethics investigation report on Gov. Sarah Palin a disclosure that benefits the public or an abuse that threatens the legal system?
51% Benefit to the Public
41% Abuse of Legal System
Tghis is being hit very very hard by libs. Everybody needed before the poll is closed.

With journalists the phrase should not be trust, but verify but verify before you grant trust.
Palin is s massive threat no doubt. Liberals contradict their own words at every turn. They say that want her to run, because it will be easy for Obama to beat her. If that was truly the case, why would they continue to launch frivolous ethic complaints against her in an attempt to stop her? The Palin haters know full well that the nation rather have wanted to see a Palin vs Obama debate last year then the three debates of McCain vs Obama. Palin's debate vs Biden was the second most watched debate ever. The only one higher was the 1980 Reagan vs Carter debate.
