FBI Investigation Rumor Bites the Dust
The LA Times reports on the debunking of another baseless stupid rumor:
A day after Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin resigned, a federal official in her home state dismissed one potential explanation for her sudden and unexpected resignation -- a rumored FBI investigation into the former Wasilla mayor on public corruption charges.
Despite rumors of a looming controversy after Palin's surprise announcement Friday that she will leave office this month, some of them published in the blogosphere, the FBI's Alaska spokesman said the bureau had no investigation into Palin for her activities as governor, as mayor or in any other capacity.
"There is absolutely no truth to those rumors, that we're investigating her or getting ready to indict her," Special Agent Eric Gonzalez said in a phone interview Saturday. "It's just not true."
Gonzalez added that there was "no wiggle room" in his comments that could exclude any kind of probe.
Ok, FBI probe - wrong. "Housegate" - wrong. I think the next meme they're pushing is an IRS audit. We saw her tax records. They were released to the public during the last election. There is no there there.
But that won't stop them, so what the hell next? Many of the loons spreading these rumors are the same crackbrained weirdies who think she's not the mother of her youngest son.
So what next? Are they going to claim that she's really a vampire?
Hey, was she alive when Kennedy was shot? Maybe they can pin that one on her too. (Dang, born in 1964... Well, what about her Dad? Was he anywhere near Dallas that day?)

Why I am convinced Sarah is running for president!
Whatever the reason behind her resigning for the governorship it is clear that MSM and all those ethic complaints has gotten to her. Be it compromising her job or the personal effect it had on her and her family. Some would say they have won.
By doing so the message that any men or women who is thinking about entering politics in the future might now seriously reconsider their options seeing how vicious the media can be and frankly not many people would be willing to go through this process. The quitting of Sarah will only add doubt to such aspiration.
From listening to Sarah’s speech and from her Facebook statement it is clear Sarah is not about to give up that fight. She also clearly asks people not to be “dissuaded from entering politics”.
The only way to not let the MSM win this battle and to convince future politicians that it’s all worth it is by Sarah proving the media can be beaten. What other way is there then beating them to become President of the United States.
Sarah’s has surprised before and she sure knocked us out this week. We ain’t seen nothing yet!

Gov. Sarah Palin resignation is a great political move for her & our country. The majority of Alaskans are proud of Sarah Palin for taking her first steps towards 2012. This was an appropriate day (Independence Day eve); for her to take some time with her family, focus on immediate strengthening of state and national objectives; all without having her hands tied by holding political office. Our nation is waking up to the realities of the Nov. 08 election results and now we want our country back. Sarah is not a quitter, but instead a fighter who thinks outside of the box. All ethics charges were filed after her nomination for VP candidate and were pushed by the mainstream media’s attack on her and her family. By stepping down, she will prevent millions more of state money spent in her defense and wasted time spent by state employees on defending more charges. Not one of them was proven valid, but continues to cost the Palins thousands from their personal budget.
Sarah is the opposite of Obama in so many ways; budget conscious, a supporter of capitalism, honest, supports our constitution, ethical, patriotic, believing in and not wanting to control her country and more. This is the opposite of Obama and multiple other governors & senators who have left their gubernatorial or congressional responsibilities gathering dust, continued drawing a paycheck from the government coffers, and travelling while in the process of running for higher political office. She can now spend days or weeks away from the state and will not do this on the public dime. It appears MSNBC is still stoking this indictment garbage even after the FBI in Alaska has said its a lie. I know Gov. Palin is a public figure, but how is this not a reckless disregard for the truth? (i.e. actionable for slander by a public figure) I wonder if NSNBC has obtained photographs of Todd Palin and Tony Rezko together cutting a crooked land deal in Wasilla?
I know slander is difficult to prove because you have to prove malicious intent. Unfortunately for Shannon, she has made it very easy to prove intent. She has written page after page of malicious words against Governor Palin on her own website.
The ankle biters own words can and will be used against them.
Governor Palin can easily prove that not only is Shannon's website malicious, but she can also prove that the ankle biters were working together in Alaska.
Now Shannon's friends and their websites are also exposed. It is very easy to prove these guys are working together, because they are telling everyone they are working together.
Yes, Shannon can claim that is was a rumor started by someone else and she did not know that it was not the truth.
However, this exposed Shannon as a liar and a fraud to the entire world.

Couldn't someone call the Feds and ask if there is an investigation? I know that they can tell you yes or no. If it is yes they cannot give details. I have read this in the paper hundreds of times over all kinds of things. Where either a state or fed person confirms or denies if there is an investigation or pending indictment.
These journalists are incompetent. Now Palin's lawyer needs to go on all these Tv news shows and expose these jerks. You know they will not mention that a Fed made this statement. he needs to pursue legal action to make them retract.

In the Soros Era, the Left has used a principle called "swarming" to go after Republican politicians who offend them. It is clear to me that Palin understood what was going on, and decided to fight back.
"Swarming" involves attacking a target from many locations at once, and as at many times as possible.
For example, take "Housegate". The operation began way back in the way back when Sarah was first picked by McCain, but it died off for lack of any evidence from the McCain people. Fast forward to the Spring: the Ethics complaints had been batted down one by one, so the Left went back to "Housegate" to try and tag Sarah with something that EVERY REGISTERED VOTER COULD UNDERSTAND AND DESPISE: Financial Corruption.
Literally hundreds of lefty bloggers went at this, led by McCleod and the people at Huffington and Kos. The object of the excercise was to create a critical mass of "reporting" so that the Mainstream Media would pick it up and demand an "investigation" because of the "seriousness of the charge".
The people around Palin understood, quite unlike the clueless, feckless Bushtards who ran the Bush Administration message operation, what was going on and immediately counterattacked, after first laying the legal groundwork for doing so.
Now, with the LA Times story, the Leftys at Huffington and Kos who peddled this garbage are out on the edge of the limb, having created this self-sustaining belief system about who Sarah Palin is.
