TAMMY, YOU GO GIRL!!! I promise this mid-western transplanted LA resident will join the United States of Tammy asap.

Who is that smarmy, sissified little creep on her left? I kept wishing she would B**ch-slap him.

Sarah, Tammy, Michelle, Ann C, Andrea T, our own RAM and many others. Where ore Conservative MEN leaders? Why is it being left to the ladies. I know, I know, there's Rush and Levin, but still, where are the Political male leaders. I just happy someone is doing it! An doing it VERY well!

Scholar July 29, 2009 1:09 PM

Tell it like it is, Tammy! Great job!

TangledThorns July 29, 2009 1:11 PM

So much good stuff today, I'll have to check it out when I get home :).

On a more dimmer point it was total Palin trashing this morning on MSNBC. It was like they were denying she even exists. The silver lining was Mika pointing out the folk who hate Sarah have no clue on why she is popular.

Lipstick July 29, 2009 1:14 PM

The whimp on Tammy's left should have wore his big boy panties this morning, what a whiner.

Tammy is convinced she is running for POTUS. I hope she is right.

Do you think that is what Palin meant by "It should be obvious by now."? I had not heard that.

Go Tammy.

Dan C July 29, 2009 1:14 PM

Steve, I wonder the same thing. Our tough guy republican leaders like Chuck Grassley are busy giving away the store to Obama and Rahm Emanual as we speak. We have no tough men in our party at all.

kckates July 29, 2009 1:17 PM

But we gots a tough lady!!

Lipstick July 29, 2009 1:20 PM

Here is Tammy's twitter about her Fox appearance. I think that guys whining got on her nerves too.

"Done with Strategy Room. Funny how those aide-staffer-beltway guys seem to be Attitude Stuck in 1992."

Egads Sapwolf, you may be on to something..

An article @ American Thinker is just more proof, to me, that the Dems & the WH were/are responsible for the ethics charges, etc. & the media ilks trying to destroy Sarah.

Tell me that the "Colorado Model" isn't exactly what's been happening to her. Republicans, Conservatives & we @ C4P are going to HAVE to figure out how to combat this on a much higher scale than we've been doing. These people are just the scum of the earth!

Good job, Tammy!

After thinking about it, I think the best option for Sarah is to do visual pod casts. That way she is in front of the camera (which she needs to be), but can control the message.

Part of Pain's appeal is that she is so good in front of a camera. With a visual podcast, that she does herself, she can control the message, say exactly what she wants to say, and send it out. It's the best option, IMO.

I also wouldn't be opposed to commentary on Fox, etc., a few times a week. She just needs to avoid having her own hokey TV show like Huckabee.

Über July 29, 2009 1:34 PM

The answer is we have to get our hands dirty.

We have to fight and fight hard.

It's that whole "if they bring a knive to the fight, bring a gun."

We need to catalog their strategy so far and then develop a strategy to combat.

Like the ACORN thing. Over at RedState, there was a great article to show how people can counter act them. Get on their mailing list and then when you receive an alert about them gathering, make sure your local tea party is there to counter it.

TangledThorns July 29, 2009 1:37 PM

I think Sarah came make great commentary on shows like Beck and Hannity however Sarah Palin will gain more from op-eds and public speaking. Especially for campaigns and at fund raisers.

The real deal will be with her book.

Lipstick July 29, 2009 1:45 PM

Gonew/rino:

I am liking the podcast idea more and more. She could even skype (is that right?) people like Greta does, get the regular person's take on things and answer questions from them. She could really change it up to keep each podcast a little different, then post them on her kick butt website that she needs to hire a young, bright, unknown person with hip, new ideas to design and run for her.
I imagine she could have many young conservative recent college grads take leftovers at her house for payment to have a piece of that ride, I know I would have right out of college.

Sarah is young and hip and she needs to use that with new technology to attract the young vote.

Lakerfanalways July 29, 2009 1:57 PM

Tammy Bruce is AWESOME. I recommend everyone here listen to her. She talks about REAL change coming, and that change is President Sarah Palin.

PEC July 29, 2009 1:58 PM

I don't think anybody really knows what she is going to do outside of a very, very small inner circle. Even they may not have got her vision until recently and who knows she may be off somewhere not even worrying about anything but family and will worry about this stuff upon return.

Yup. Here's a video clip of Glenn Beck's informative interview with Michelle Malkin about her new book "Culture of Corruption". I believe it's something we should strive to read in order to prepare for battle with the leftists: Here's the link:

(We should probably also read the book that the Guv recommended, "The Thumpin'", as well as "Rules for Radicals".)

Jenny July 29, 2009 2:02 PM

Thank goodness we have strong conservative women on our side, because some of the men have been pathetic.
Tammy is brilliant and holds nothing back!

Here is Pamela Geller with a three part interview with John Bolton. On the second video, halfway in, he discussed his meeting with Palin and his impression of her and 2012. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Mdiq_c6d60&feature=channel
On the third video, Pamela takes Bolton to task on Romney: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZcFaXPkRB1Q

Yogi41 July 29, 2009 2:02 PM

LOL. Obama is sounding p.o.'d as he talks to constituents in NC today.

"I have been as clear as I can be!" he shouts. "If you like your health care plan, you keep your health care plan."

Shouting and sounding very, very angry, saying critics are trying to "scare you" about his healthcare plan.

What a fool.

Lipstick July 29, 2009 2:08 PM

Yeah, I get to keep my health care plan until the company decides that instead of paying for part of it they will cut us loose to the government one. Or until the company my plan is with goes bankrupt. What a joke Obama is. He must think we are all dumb.

Take a hint O, NO ONE WANTS YOUR SOCIALIZED MEDICINE!

frisky July 29, 2009 2:15 PM

Tammy is wrong about clinton in his first two years. He spent a lot of money in his first two years that's why Republicans were voted in the majority. After that he concentrated on the deficit. Also, the Republicans were stronger back then, than now. It's true Bush acting like a liberal ruined it for Republicans. That's why we have Obama. That's why Republicans are lost today, are we liberal or conservative? We need to vote out all Rhino's and clean house!

U.S. Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison Quits

"Hutchison says she will resign in October or Novemeber"

"Hutchison said she will give up her Senate seat in October or November. That would set off the special election for May 2010, unless Gov. Rick Perry declared an emergency and set it for an earlier date."

Anyone in SW Virginia/NE Tennessee…

Obama will be at the Kroger store in Bristol, VA off of Gate City Highway at 3:30 PM.

I should add that he'll probably be late as I saw him live in Raleigh around 1 PM and it'll take a little longer to get to Bristol than that. But be prepared for him to show up at 3:30 PM.

PEC July 29, 2009 2:29 PM

Which I could go to Bristol. Can you say Tea Party.
Will the media label Huthinson a quitter?

Jenny July 29, 2009 2:33 PM

Texas is Palin country. Sarah needs to make just one appearance and Perry will win in a landslide!
Go Perry GO Sarah!

Steven July 29, 2009 2:42 PM

I am thinking about revising my thoughts on Palin in 2012 like Fred Barnes revised his thoughts about Palin's decision to resign. I think Palin will only run in 2012, if there is no other way to stop Obama. I think her short-term goal is to see a GOP Congress. I think if that is accomplished, she will consider running in 2016. If that's not accomplished, then she may just go ahead and run against Obama in 2012. The only thing that is troubling about this thought is whether it means she will run for the Senate in 2010 and be apart of the Congressional takeover story.

There is no way to know ahead of time whether there will be a GOP takeover. Also, if she runs against Murkowski, she would have cannabalized one our own rather than add a seat to the Senate. And lastly, could she wing it running for the Senate in Alaska and helping candidates around the country get elected? I think these thoughts are complex and ones that she is going over right now as to the best course of action to get to the White House. Make no mistake, the quitter label is one that the opposition will not live down. How does she contend with that effectively in the short-term without endangering her long-term goals? I say, Palin should take as long as she has to, to plot the proper course to the White House. As I have said before, there is a course to the presidency for her, we have to pray that she finds it.

Yogi41 July 29, 2009 2:43 PM

Beehive,

The lady standing to the left of the gentleman in the shirt was on the news. She was interviewed as one of those "man in the street" interviews, and she had high praise for Sarah Palin.

I don't know who the man is, though. Nice color shirt. :)

Lakerfanalways July 29, 2009 2:44 PM

@jimr3
I wonder if the media will declare Kay Bailey a quitter and that this ruins any chances she has in political office. Nah, I doubt it.

Beehive July 29, 2009 2:47 PM

Yogi41

I recognize Adrienne Ross from draft sarah palin 2012, but I didn't recognize the gentleman.

I got one of those shirts in bright orange. I love it.

PEC July 29, 2009 2:49 PM

Steven - Whatever she is doing right now is driving everybody nuts. THey were all expecting this grand announcement shortly afterwards. So far quite as a mouse. I expect bad # from NBC Poll this afternoon. NBC is not going to have positive Palin info on their 6:30 news. Need some talking points ready. Is Norah still in FBX? She has to be a little pissed if she didn't get an interview with the person she wanted to interview.

PEC July 29, 2009 2:50 PM

lakersfans - Ditto. Watch Kay Baily get a free pass.

jimr3 July 29, 2009 2:55 PM

Lakerfanalways,

Yea, they will not label her a quitter.

Frist impression by the NRO is Kay Bailey is only Retiring - you see.

However, I get the impression from talk radio host Mark Davis he was somewhat surprised by this announcement.

Mark Davis: "Is there no possibility because you don't have to step down to run, but you surely will at some point. There no possibility that you will remain a Senator while running for Governor throughout?"

Kay Bailey Hutchison: "I just can't - as long as Governor Perry stays in the race."

Sounds like quitting to me.

Nancy July 29, 2009 2:58 PM

Tammy Bruce is great!

I wonder, did President Obama gray his hair up yesterday to talk at that AARP tele-townhall? Did he come in pushing a walker, or using a cane? False teeth? Because he seems to try to be all things to all people.

Hal July 29, 2009 3:00 PM

Well, I knew Hutch was going to resign, i.e. QUIT!!!! It's Perry vs Hutch next year. I expect several visits from Gov Palin here in TX next year to stump for Perry.

I also think it is dangerous for Hutch to give up that seat, TX is still Red but the urban and valley areas have been trending it blue. The couple of dems I've seen say they want to run for that seat includes our Houston Mayor Bill White who is a pretty moderate Dem.

Not a good idea Hutch...

Steven July 29, 2009 3:02 PM

It is driving people nuts, but prudence is the proper course of action for such an audacious move. First was the resignation, now what? She has to be almost flawless. She has to chart a course that is decipherable without explicitly detailing what it is. She has to continue to be innovative and unconventional. And she has to show growth in the breadth of her knowledge of national issues. It will require alot more work than she had as governor, but if she does it right, by 2011 no one will question her viability to run for the presidency.

So I think she is getting her house in order. Everyone in her family have to be on the same page. They have to understand that any missteps will result in being plastered all over the news. So we are going crazy, but the course ahead for Palin is fraught with peril with a smidgen of light to the White House. And we don't even want to talk about what happens when she gets there!

EdFab July 29, 2009 3:02 PM

Personally, I think that writing a weekly column for a major newspaper like the WSJ is Sarah's best option. It's unprecedented...she'll actually become the media, and show them how to do it right.

My bet is that this is what she'll do if she gets the offer.

Max D July 29, 2009 3:03 PM

We also have Gov Perry! He takes no Ƙbama crap like Gov Palin.

Stephanie July 29, 2009 3:03 PM

Throwing this out...

Didn't someone say that you only have to reside in TX for 6 months for Perry to be able to name you to the Senate seat if Hutchison leaves? If she resigns in November, that's exactly 6 months.

hmmm...

EdFab July 29, 2009 3:04 PM

She'll be the one buying ink by the barrel. Bwwahhhhaaaaa!

wisetrog July 29, 2009 3:04 PM

Sarah has barely begun and she already got rid of one RINO! Awesome! KBH will be toast, now work on getting a good conservative candidate from Texas, not a Bush crony.

I hope Sarah gets to work on those pesky Maine ladies, one of them is up for re-election in 2010, are they not? I hope SP endorses a primary challenger. I can dream, can't I?

section9 July 29, 2009 3:07 PM

Kay Bailey has been a constant source of negative news from the AssClown G.O.P. wing of the Party. She is leaving to run against Perry, of course. This allows Perry to put someone in her place though to serve out her term (RR Commissioner Michael Williams, please, a Palin Republican if there ever was one!).

Someone who has parlayed major contributions and political face time will get that seat. Despite the fact that they hate each other, KBH and Perry will strike a deal over her replacement.

Oh, I do suspect that Palin may have had a bit to do with KBH getting out to have to deal with Perry. BTW, sorry, but we need the Maine Ladies where they are. They are the only kind of Republicans who can get elected up there.

section9 July 29, 2009 3:10 PM

Oh stop.

Sarah Palin is NOT moving to Texas to become Rick Perry's pet Junior Senator from Exxon Mobil. The entire Texas Republican Party would revolt as Palin hadn't tilled the fields down there. Mike Williams, for one, would be beyond pissed. Sarah wouldn't last out the Special Election. Perry would lose the race to Hutch.

jimr3 July 29, 2009 3:17 PM

From the Dallas Morning News (July 25, 2009):

"Hutchison slams Perry on stimulus decision"

"Kay Bailey Hutchison slammed Rick Perry's decision four months ago to reject $555 million in economic stimulus money to help the unemployed, saying Friday that it was "reckless" and showed a lack of both leadership and judgment."

"This is yet another Rick Perry disaster," Hutchison said in a written statement."

"When she was first asked about the governor's decision in March to turn down the money, she gently chastised him for not coming up with a better solution."

"Perry spokesman Mark Miner said the senator has not been clear on where she stands."

"She's playing a game of Washington politics, and that's not going to play here in Texas. She's taken several positions on the same issue," Miner said."

"Perry did accept $14 billion in stimulus funds, but he turned down the unemployment money, saying there were too many strings attached. To qualify, Texas would have had to expand its benefits – which reach a lower percentage of jobless workers than almost any other state."

http://tinyurl.com/n6ez5j

To many strings attached. Where have we heard that before?

So long Kay!

Perry for Governor of Texas!!

Nancy July 29, 2009 3:17 PM

Media to KBH: Can you come on and talk about Governor Palin. What you think Governor Palin is doing. What you think Governor Palin will do. How Governor Palin endorsing Rick Perry affects your chances in your race against him. How Governor Palin's resignation affected your decision to resign. And finally how Governor Palin continues to make RINOs like you, look bad. Oh yeah, and how Governor Palin's mere existence causes that vein in your forehead to bulge.

Illinois Conservative (Whitney) July 29, 2009 3:18 PM

On the topic of Tammy Bruce, she just tweeted a link to this article:
http://is.gd/1T4nR

I just had to laugh!:)

wjshipley July 29, 2009 3:19 PM

Steven, Sarah Palin has the current asset of being the only likely Republican candidate who's actually been in a national campaign. She should not give that up lightly. Someone will run in 2012, and if not her, they become de-facto the spokesman for the Republican party.

Reasonably her focus now should be on the 2010 mid-terms. We need to get the House back and she's the most powerful force we have for rallying the party. Her ability to be in the middle of that is one of the biggest things she gets in exchange for giving up her Governorship. Expect her to make the most of it.

If she does, she's in really good shape in 2011 when the 2012 cycle gets started. I think the only reason she doesn't run in 2012 is if it's hopeless, and even then it might be a good idea to run anyway. A respectible loss doesn't end her career. In 2014 Begich's seat becomes open and, if she wants to go the Senate route, that's the one to go after to wait future days if 2012 doesn't work.

She said exactly what she is doing. No one is going to be clearer at this point, the only 2012 candidate who will say that they are planning on running is Barack Obama, who pretty much has to.

Lipstick July 29, 2009 3:20 PM

To KBH I say don't let the door hit you on the way out. I am not sure it matters if she is there or not she is such a liberal RINO.

I used to like her years ago, but she is WAY too Washington now.

Who can Perry appoint? Hope it is a true conservative, if not it may hurt him here with conservatives, but they would never vote for KBH...yuck.

I seriously would rather have Ann Richards as Gov. than KBH, and Ann, rest her soul, was bad enough but at least she was entertaining and in your face about what she stood for. KBH is just sneaky, I don't like that AT ALL.

Lakerfanalways July 29, 2009 3:22 PM

WOW, Sarah, without even trying, just got rid of a RINO. Imagine what happens when she goes campaigning, you will all see so many RINOS being thrown all over the place it will look like the LaBrea Tar Pits.

Al B. July 29, 2009 3:23 PM

"This puts a whole different swirl on money going down the drain."

LMAO.

Lipstick July 29, 2009 3:25 PM

No offense to Sarah but I am a Texan and I want a Texan as my Senator, not an Alaskan. She can be my President any day, my Senator, NO!

Now don't jump on me you all know I am a BIG Palin supporter. But come on, she is not from here and would not represent us well on a state level.

I would do anything for Sarah to be POTUS, but if she wants in the Senate, she needs to run in Alaska.

Stephanie July 29, 2009 3:25 PM

I realize Newsmax is conservative, but they're about to release a poll that shows nearly 78% want Sarah Palin to run for President:

http://governorpalin4president.blogspot.com/2009/07/poll-80-support-governor-palin-2012-run.html

"A Newsmax.com poll reveals that nearly four out of five respondents would support Sarah Palin as the Republican nominee for president in 2012."

"The poll drew more than 600,000 responses, and Newsmax will provide the results to major media and share them with radio talk show hosts across the country."

Think the MSM media will dare show those on the nightly news tonight?

Hell No!

Yogi41 July 29, 2009 3:44 PM

From that blog about the NC protest, that paragraph about the counter-protester was hilarious:

"The protest was civilized on both sides, except for the one lady on the opposite side who kept shouting “Loser! Loser!” and “Our President is in the White House, where is your President?” If she represents the intellect and maturity of the Pro-ObamaCare Movement, I’m even more glad to be on the other side."

When that person yelled "Where's your President?", I wish someone would have responded "She's on her way and she will kick your President's a$@"

Tammy Bruce is great. Thanks for posting that clip. I think she is becoming more and more popular. C4P will by extension also become more well known, since she is aware and supportive of this site.

Dick,
Thanks for posting those facts from the healthcare bill. The whole thing is apalling.

narciso July 29, 2009 4:30 PM

You know it's curious I kind of curious that I pointed out the same thing, Tammy did,of who the two leading factions in American politics, not with her trademark forcefulness. I'm kind of surprised how indifferent Joel Mowbray was on that show. Than again I haven't seen much coming from him on his trademark issue:
Islamist influences in government

Yeah, I get to keep my health care plan until the company decides that instead of paying for part of it they will cut us loose to the government one. Or until the company my plan is with goes bankrupt. What a joke Obama is. He must think we are all dumb.

Take a hint O, NO ONE WANTS YOUR SOCIALIZED MEDICINE!

Yogi41 July 29, 2009 4:35 PM

I know, jim. I posted it upthread.

Yogi41 July 29, 2009 4:37 PM

Yea!!! This just keeps getting better.... following on the heels of the NC protest, (posted upthread), Obama was met in VA by around 200 more protesters. I'm so loving this.

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2303863/posts

Following on the hundreds who protested Barack Obama this morning in Raleigh, the Associated Press reports several hundred protesters were gathered in Bristol, Virginia as of 3:16 p.m. for the scheduled 4 p.m. Obama town hall meeting at a Kroger grocery store:

A crowd of more than 200 protesters opposed to President Obama's health care overhaul have gathered outside a Kroger supermarket in Bristol, Va., awaiting the president's arrival for a town hall meeting.

Some held signs reading, "Obamacare is political malpractice" and "Keep your hands off my health care."

The Wednesday protest drew people from the tri-state region of Virginia, Tennessee and North Carolina.

The Roanoake Times reports a pro-Obama rally was organized by the leftist labor union SEIU:

A few blocks from the Kroger a group of supports shared their concerns with the current health care system and reasons why they are urging for an overhaul of the nation’s health care system.

Sponsored by the Service Employees International Union, the rally sought to emphasize the hardship health care premiums have placed on small businesses. It also highlighted the problems Virginians face in paying for prescription drugs.

The Times also reported on the anti-Obama protesters:

Protesters were also waiting for Obama’s arrival.

“We’ll be here until the president sees us,” said Katie Hughes, 18 of Kingsport, Tenn. “It makes me mad. I mean this could mean our grandparents won’t be taken care of.”

The largest group of protesters gathered outside the Kroger parking lot.

Rho Griffin and her husband Blake drove down from Roanoke to tell the president to keep his hands off their health care.

ROFLMAO, just as I did the first time I heard Zero say it. VA healthcare is awful. Take it from one who has watched her sister manage a family full of health problems as an army wife. Maybe it's a step up for those who don't have HC now but it sucks royally.

I do not want my employer to ditch the employer-provided health plan and get shoved into the equivalent of the VA. Obama's own studies show that many more than 47 million will lose their employer-provided coverage bc employers will prefer to shove that cost onto the government. Who wouldn't? It's laughable to argue that no one will do that. He simply does not have the wherewithal to guarantee I won't lose my employer-sponsored plan. We change HMOs every year as it is, bc my employer is always looking for the cheapest alternative.

texas July 29, 2009 4:45 PM

Call all your senator's and ask them how they like there government health care plan for their self and family.I dont think they want to change there plan. Just saying..........

TangledThorns July 29, 2009 4:45 PM

With GOP candidates in such wide leads in VA and NJ I now doubt we'll see Sarah campaign in those states. Though I'd like to see her come out for the victory laps :)

VA Gov Poll: McDonnell +15

I emailed Allahpundit @ Hot Air to post the results of the Newsmax Poll since he seems to be so keen on posting any negative poll result on Sarah.

alwaysfiredup July 29, 2009 4:48 PM

Hmm, moving the goalposts...what's that again? A hallmark of what?

Oh yeah. TROLLS! Buh-bye.

ND July 29, 2009 4:51 PM

My employer has already let us know that we'll be losing our insurance. It's going to cut their costs by 60%, even after the fine for failure to offer. I asked them to consider paying the fine value and allow us to pay the rest.

texas July 29, 2009 4:58 PM

I'm sorry ,I can just see what PO is trying to say. If there was a public option (If you choose ) these private insurance company will have to compete with their prices. I can see that happening. It's like shopping at Walmart for your clothes OR Dillard's ,your choice. All I do know for sure something needs to change insurance is outrageous.I could loose everything Ive have worked for if I get seriously sick.

ND July 29, 2009 5:19 PM

There IS competition in insurance - provided by the private sector. The kicker is, the GOVERNMENT has limited competition because insurance isn't portable. If it was separate from employment and portable (you can buy insurance from other states), it'd be a LOT more competitive. The feds having a stranglehold on prices might drive down prices in the short term, but it will also reduce quality of care and availability.

So, no, BO DOESN'T HAVE A POINT. He has a talking point - and a bad one if you actually evaluate it.

alwaysfiredup July 29, 2009 5:19 PM

Make that Troll and Threadjacker. Peddle your spam elsewhere.

ND, my sympathies. Provided my employer doesn't follow suit, I weill be curious to hear how your efforts at purchasing individual coverage go.

Beehive,

The guy who took the picture is my TeamSarah pal Billy. We hung out together the whole day in Auburn. I met Adrienne there too. He's from Virginia.

He's in my TS group that will be at the 9/12 march in DC.

Rusty July 29, 2009 5:46 PM

Tangled Thorns:

Those are "summer" polls. No one is paying attention. The races will tighten up considerably in September, both in NJ and especially Virginia.

The Democrats picked a perfect candidate in Deeds for Virginia - a blue dog Democrat. Obama won't campaign but watch Bill Clinton to be in their big time claiming Deeds is more conservative than McDonnell and more "compassionate". Clinton and Deeds will have appeal in the south as well as the north. Kane will open the DNC money vault to win this race. The Dems. don't care if they lose NJ but if they can keep Virginia blue it will help to derail the GOPs momentum for 2010. So a win for them is critical.

My bet is McDonnell will not want Sarah there early on, but if it gets close, which I think it will, he will be begging for her to come in at the end to rev up turnout. However, he better not wait too long or he and the GOP could blow it.

Beehive July 29, 2009 5:50 PM

Sapwolf
Thanks. I sure wish I could get to Washington in September.

I suppose you are wearing your C4P shirt too. ;)

Liv Hoffman July 29, 2009 5:53 PM

Rusty, Obama IS coming to Virginia to campaign for Deeds. Clinton has already been here. But you're right about the summer polls. As much as I'd like to believe it, there's no way Bob is 15 points up on Deeds.

tim c July 29, 2009 6:06 PM

Tammy was great she really is big for Sarah.
The Seiu meets with Obama every week and had a lot of influence on health care bill. Also seiu was founded by the guy that founded acorn a tangled web Beck is trying to unwind. As they say the enemy is all around us.
