Washington Times Reporters Discuss Palin

(H/T Uffda)

Two guys in a newsroom discussing Governor Palin:

Non sense even talking about "conventional" wisdom when the subject is Sarah Palin. She's totally unconventional, she's not politics as usual, and that is what her supporters like about her. None of us would like her to become "just another politician" speaking with that bland old Washington beltway accent, focus grouping her every move, and statement. We like the energy, and the fireworks that is Sarah Palin.

wisetrog July 14, 2009 9:49 PM

Ralph looks his part, a fool.

Ted July 14, 2009 9:51 PM

from interview --

"She loves politics."

That's all we need to know re Sarah's trajectory.

Uffda July 14, 2009 9:53 PM

The guy on the right looks like he really enjoyed meeting Sarah.

Dan C July 14, 2009 9:54 PM

For some reason I found this video funny. I am not sure why. It certainly was not negative towards Sarah, but they just seemed funny to me lol.

wisetrog July 14, 2009 9:56 PM

No wonder these old bogies write stuff that's so inane.

CharterOakie July 14, 2009 10:01 PM

They agree that "she [Sarah] will increase her popularity."

I could have told you that.

“That’s Conventional wisdom and it’s true wisdom.”
But Sarah is no conventional politician!

Bernie Goldberg on today O’Reilly said that there is a war among republicans regarding Sarah Palin.
“On one side are the ones that think Sarah can do no wrong, Interview with Katie Couric goes wrong we blame Katie, She gives a speech no one understands and we compare it to the Gettysburg Address. On the other side there are the Intellectuals like Peggy Noonan”

I like Bernie, he’s smart and usually gets things right. But even he doesn’t seem to get it. The reason we love Sarah is BECAUSE she talks from the heart. That resignation speech she made wasn’t pointed at the elite it was pointed to us and to the everyday American.
When Sarah wants to make an elaborate speech she can. Just watch her convention speech.

Get it in your heads people. Sarah Palin is no conventional politician!

Sheya July 14, 2009 10:10 PM

Huckabee rather supportive of Sarah on Greta. He said he might stand behind her and support her if she runs for president. Is Huckabee waking up to reality?

Karen Allen July 14, 2009 10:13 PM

I like the line, "It's gonna be somethin' else," in reference to the guv's future.

Oh yeah!

stuffy July 14, 2009 10:17 PM

I think Huckabee knows he doesn't have a chance against Sarah, if she runs.

It might take a little while for most of the Repulicans that have been questioning her to catch on, but pretty soon they won't be able to deny it.

A July 14, 2009 10:19 PM

My guess is that after Huck trashes Sarah for "quitting" he found he was standing on sand that was eroding. I think the response was powerful. I say that because of his change.

I think his live audiences have been easy to read.

GoneWithTheRINO July 14, 2009 10:20 PM

Beware of Huckabee. This is the third time he's changed his "opinion" on Sarah's resignation. Huckabee seems like a nice guy, but he's a snake in the grass. Believe me, he wants to run.

A July 14, 2009 10:21 PM

Funny. Yes. The first "yes" (pointing) was something to behold.

CodaCuda July 14, 2009 10:23 PM

Yea Huck wondered why WaPo for the op-ed. You want to know why it is called taking the fight to the emeny. It was a direct hit to DC's heart thats why. The other thing is $1 mil. in PAC will change any Pols mind.

OldTexan July 14, 2009 10:24 PM

Huck is no dummy. He knows that Sarah is the money ticket. Michael Steele is too busy pandering to the NAACP, and not getting on the Palin bandwagon. If doesn't support her, as we say down south, "He will be left in heel dust"

tim c July 14, 2009 10:26 PM

ya I think Huckabee is slowly digesting that he doesn't have a chance. If you saw carl camerons interview with Sarah after the Katie Couric one she said she was blowing her off because couric was so condescending. Sarah said that she' should not have been so flip but I could see that Sarah was ticked at couric because she was asking stupid questions.I'll bet if we ever saw all the raw footage it would make Sarah look a lot better.

Sheya July 14, 2009 10:28 PM

Maybe Huck is after the VP spot if Sarah wins nomination.

GoneWithTheRINO July 14, 2009 10:29 PM

On a positive note, I was glad Greta mentioned Sarah's op-ed. Since O'Reilly did a whole "talking points memo" on Cap and Tade, I don't understand why he didn't mention it. You would think he would have.

CodaCuda July 14, 2009 10:30 PM

Tim C--- I remeber that and Gov. Palin then went on to ans. all the same quest. asked by Couric in that interview. But of course that was never reported.

OldTexan July 14, 2009 10:31 PM

Sheya, you could be right.
Huck is okay, but Sarah has more heart than anyone in politics.
I need to give more money.

narciso July 14, 2009 10:31 PM

Yeah Bernie was talking her up last fall and into spring, when he went on his book tour. If he could admit what a hack job the Couric interview, I'd give more wait to his reason. Hallow seemedgenerally enthused on Greta and here. Lambro seems like a grouch, much like Kessler

Huck also said he wants her to stay in the party and not go the route of third party. Perhaps he's being nice so she'll stay in the GOP.

Sheya July 14, 2009 10:37 PM

Yeh I was thinking the same when O’Reilly did his talking points. Last week John Ziegler was on the Eddie Burke show at the same time as he was on O’Reilly and he said that listeners may be confused how he’s on at the same time on both places. He said O’Reilly is pre-recorded in the afternoon and isn’t live. O’Reilly prepares his show days in advance (unless a major story breaks). You can see that O’Reilly is sometimes a couple of days behind.

terri July 14, 2009 10:38 PM

sheya...

good catch...didn't think of that.
could be Huck IS looking to be vp. hmmmmm.
was wondering about all the new found luv Huck has for Gov Palin these days. He's even using some of Gov Palin's "plain talk"....
when talking about depending upon oil from countries that "don't even like us".

Lakerfanalways July 14, 2009 10:39 PM

It was nice to see Mike Huckabee finally grow a brain and stand up for Sarah Palin. Just last week on Geraldo's show he was bashing her, now he defends her, I don't get the guy, but I tell ya, when he said those things today to Greta I was like "About damn time a Republican stand up for her" I don't care what his motives are, but he did it and I am damn glad that he did. It's about time Republicans stand up against the REAL enemy, the liberals, instead of fighting amongst themselves. Now that Greta mentioned Sarah's op-ed piece more people are gonna check it out

Greg July 14, 2009 10:43 PM

Huckabee flips and flops, he's shoveled a lot of negative stuff Palin's way. I'd like to see how much HuckPAC has taken in. He has a show, and I've gotten a tremendous amount of email from HuckPAC over the last several months. HuckPAC's FEC report is due out this month, so we'll see then. Maybe that has something to do with his more pleasant statement tonight.

Sheya July 14, 2009 10:44 PM

narciso:
Bernie always talks up Sarah, just last week after the resignation he did so. I watched the segment again. I think his point was more on how the media mis-represents the news and how the media sees the divide in the Republican party

Huckabee is a politician. I know no one here likes romney but huck put the knife in his back in west by god virginia. He was hoping to get the vp slot by staying in the game.I think he is jealous of Sarahs popularity

Uffda July 14, 2009 10:53 PM

Sheya,

I don't know why, but Huck just rubs me the wrong way. He's starting to strike me as an opportunist. He's probably angling for a VP slot. I'm still thinking Guiliani, or maybe Bachmann. Knowing Palin though, she'd probably pick someone we're not even thinking of.

GoneWithTheRINO July 14, 2009 10:55 PM

I'd take Palin/Petraeus.

Like I said, Huck will stab her in the back in a heartbeat. Just 3 days ago, he was bashing her on Geraldo. He's playing both sides of the fence.

She needs to stay far, far away from both Huckabee and Romney and their former campaign staff.

MarkRNY July 14, 2009 10:56 PM

Huck will actually be able to understand Sarah's appeal much quicker then Punditry. Whether he bows to the inevitable is another story.

I think the divide in this country can be defined along many lines, but one of them is the 'City' vs. the 'Country', with the Burbs as the battleground.

In the Burbs around NY for example, many "Get" her and many don't. In NYC, she confuses/scares the hell out of everyone. City dwellers are much more suseptible to Fad/Group Think then Rural Americans although they consider themselves to be the "Free Thinkers"--and I speak as a NYer (raised in the Burbs though).

Jefferson saw this coming and was all for keeping America as rural as possible.

The 'City' has the advantage of being power centers and having the megaphone. The 'Country' has the advantage of being right most of the time and having more guts.

Sarah's got to win the Suburbs!

GoneWithTheRINO July 14, 2009 10:57 PM

Huckabee is on record saying a LOT of negative things about Palin and making anti-Palin statements/jokes. Huckabee bloviates whenever it serves his purposes.

What could Sarah be thinking?? Going out and campaigning for conservative democrats?? The last conservative democrat was Zell Miller. Lieberman was just a tiny bit left of center and the dem's thought he was way too right - and booted him out of the party!! There is nothing resembling a conservative in the democrat party!

It's Hard To See...?

Quick thought...

When Don Lambro (the guy on the left) said -

"... it's hard to see how she develops that (resigning governorship) into any kind of a serious candidacy down the road for higher office, namely the presidency."

A 1st thought was, didn't you parse Sarah's words... or as the thelogians say it, "exegete" her words?

Exegete is simply a high-falutin word for starting with the context and extrapolating (i.e. drawing out) the original intent of the words used at the moment they are spoken to those to whom the words are spoken.

The context includes the words "... if I die, I die" (politiclally).

Extrapolating the original intent of "if I die" and the original intent of all the words relative to family and also to the financial and long-term benefits to Alaska, isn't it clear that Gov. Palin has definitely considered the potential impact to her political aspirations to higher office down the road?

Don Lambro is a good and honest arbiter of the facts, so I give him the benefit of the doubt about "hard to see"... which is a another way of saying that he is not sure whether Sarah has or has not truthfully stated her position about what is the "RIGHT" action for her to take at this time... as a politician AND a MOM

I don’t think she actually said “Conservative Democrats” I think she said candidates from any party who have conservative values. The MSM is just spinning.
Even if she did what Sarah means by campaigning for conservative Democrats is in areas where Republicans have no chance. Where a conservative Democrat is running against a liberal Democrat. In the Primaries.

How about Palin/Mike Pence? The more I see of Pence, the more impressive he looks.

TSM Admin July 14, 2009 11:37 PM

There was a subtle shift from negative to neutral and then positive comments from Repubs starting about 4 days after resignation speech. Probably got some wind of PAC numbers, plus web numbers.

McCain on Meet the Press Sunday was a key point also. If he had trashed her or just been neutral, his opinion would have counted more than most. He was very strong, especially as Gregory was pushing hard for a negative response. I would have expected his support much sooner (months), but this may have been the best time to to have the most effect.

So, we have the 1,2,3 punch of McCain on Sunday, PAC numbers on Monday and Oped on Tuesday.

As far as VP, still 3 years out there. Not an option, she has to pick SOMEBODY. Maybe a new face, most not familiar with yet. A general would certainly help "perceived" Foreign Policy and Defense weakness. Huckabee might be best of what looks like "potentials" now. He is most like Sarah, small town and close to folks, conservative Social values. Also, something many may have forgotten - he looks "soft" on TV show, but he beat the Clinton machine in Arkansas everytime as Lt. Gov. and then Gov. Got to be tough to do that.

Sheya July 14, 2009 11:38 PM

I agree about Gingrich, he’s too old school. I like him he can be a strong voice for the party and can bring the party together but he should do it outside the box.

Thnaks for the link to American Thinker article. Great read!

techno July 14, 2009 11:41 PM

I want to lay out for you in stark terms exactly where Sarah Palin stands right now by citing
10 facts to bear in mind before going off the deep end or dismissing Sarah's Presidential chances in 2012:

1)There are about 40 months left to go before the 2012 Prssidential vote. Sarah Palin does not have to ready to be POTUS now, next year, or when the GOP primary is decided in 2012. Only in Jan.20, 2013, 3 and 1/2 years from now does SP have to be ready to assume the office.

2)In tendering her resignation SP was concerned primarily about how one group would react to her decision, whether her hardcore supporters would desert her. Recent polls and evidence have shown that they have not and actually that SP has gained strength since the resignation (Twitter, TS membership, SarahPAC raising $200,000 since July 3rd). Apparently the calculated risk has paid off big time.

3)SP is slated to speak at the Reagan Library on August 8th.It probably will not be her swan song from politics but her gateway to travelling throughout the lower 48 to spread her message.

4)On a recent HA thread it was posted that a close friend of SP's said that Sarah would be giving paid speeches and free speeches for the GOP over the next 6mos-12mos.

5)It has already been announced that Sarah's book will come out in the spring of 2010 and she will be going on a book tour.

6)By all accounts Sarah lacks the staff now to run for POTUS. After July 26th that may be a different story. On a recent interview with Fox News, Fred Thompson stipulated that there were many operatives ready to fly up to Alaska once they got the word from Sarah. If Sarah does not make a move in this direction in the next 6-9 months you can assume she in not running for POTUS. Stay tuned.

7)Sarah has already committed to helping conservative Congressmen and Senators of her choice full-time in the primaries and the 2010 midterm elections.

8)The MSM will employ every trick known to man, Alinsky and the Obama war room to throw Sarah off her game and to derail her from advancing the Sarah Palin express down the tracks as it picks up more passengers and stops frequently to pick up money from fundraising dinners and fat cats. Three words must always be observed: keep the faith.

9)Sarah Palin as a civilian and without a job will be able to attack Obama and his agenda consistently while being a harder target to hit as she is always on the move or elusive.

10)Sarah does not have to make up her mind to run for POTUS until after 2010 midterms. By then she should have all her ducks in a row, if she chooses to.

wisetrog July 14, 2009 11:41 PM

TSM, you're right. The most glaring example was Lisa changing her tune almost overnight. Then, Huck changed his. Don't know but definitely word has gone to the pols not to trash her. Something's changed. Wonder why.

wisetrog: I am a firm believer in trends and cycles in history. I was laughing in the late 90's when they were proclaiming the business cycle had been defeated, it was only uphill from now on. Yep, right after they repeal the law of gravity!

I think it will be looked back on that 11/04/2008 was peak of Liberal pendulum swing. In National elections SINCE then, Repubs are 3-0 by my count. When the swings happen, whoever is leading the charge is credited, like Reagan. It's like tide flowing in and out, most everything and everybody get swept with it. Some times there can be a gradual flow, sometimes much quicker.

It can be fun being in the lead though and being a part of it!

tim c July 14, 2009 11:59 PM

Ya the AT piece was great. The Ents are going to war.I think the repubs realized they had a new cash machine for 2010 and some one to LEAD the fight against the one.Don't look a gift horse in the mouth. But the repubs are going to have to prove something to us or they will be toast. This crowd now needs a little backbone to do what is right.

Steven July 15, 2009 12:01 AM

Palin/Petraeus as a ticket? Obama has already buried David Petraeus. No, Palin will have to unite the conservative wing with the party wing and she will have to either chose Romney or Pawlenty. Pawlenty is preferable because of the Midwest play. The GOP must create a new political coalition, since the west overrun by Mexicans is trending democratic (though California, after this economic crisis maybe up for grabs). From Colorado, Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico, democrats are making inroads. If the GOP can make a move into Wisconsin, Minnesota (yeah right), Iowa, Michigan, and reassert itself in Ohio, then the lost of those Western states would be tolerable. Palin will of course bring the South back into the fold, including Florida.

I'm not clear as to the negative comments regarding Petraeus.

We are a nation in deep fiscal and constitutional crisis. A federalist union that is threatened by statists. Palin is the answer.

And we are a nation in the early chapters of a very dangerous war, on numerous fronts internationally. Petraeus will greatly balance the ticket.

Forgive me if I am missing something, but please explain.

I agree the Suburbs are the battleground.

Bill Clinton and his ilk realized this after severe defeats in presidential elections during the 1970's and 80's--hence the Clinton machine moderated the Democratic party in the early 1990's.

In my opinion, for Sarah to win the suburbs (absent a severe foreign policy issue/terrorist attack), is to focus on her reformer profile as a political statesman.

We know Obama does not have the guts to clean up Wall Street greed and corruption (since major Wall Street Firms such as Goldman Sachs--contributed to his campaign signficantly and Geithner is a puppet of Goldman Sachs).

Free markets with fair competition through enforcement of the federal law.

Complicated task but doable--divide and split the Democratic party/coaltion of high Wall Street financers and educated elites in the Suburbs (who tend to be more moderate on social and cultural issues).

In addition, Obama's massive debt built-up over the next few years will placed heavy burdens on the parents in the suburbs on such issues of preparation of student loans for their children and retirement savings.

Moreover, she should stay true to her core principles on the social and cultural issues and not apologize for them.

Voters will respect candor performed with humility--she has that skill.

By the way, her on stage with likes of Huck, Rommey, Gingrich, Pawlenty, and Jeb Bush in a primary debate would be a slam dunk for her--just think about it.

sandra July 15, 2009 12:32 AM

I think the party's over.

WSJ has a hit piece against Palin, The Weekly Standard, Matthew Continetti, and defenders of Palin by opinion writer Thomas Frank. Some loser I never heard of.

wjshipley July 15, 2009 12:42 AM

Even given Newt's problems, and they are many, I still find the idea of Palin/Gingrich somewhat attractive. Philosophically there is a reasonably good match -- she seems to be keying off of some of his ideas. He certainly would have a good chance of knowing how to get things done in Washington.

However, this is simple speculation. The dynamics of the Primary will have a lot to do with the VP slot.

stuffy July 15, 2009 1:09 AM

Palin/Gulianni (sp?) might be a good way to go. He's smart and tough on foreign policy & it might bring some of the Dems around if they play it right.

No matter who she chooses, it will have to be someone who's smart as heck on foreign policy & national security. That would quiet (maybe) some of the nay-sayers about her lack of experience.

No matter what, I trust her to make the right judgements when the time comes.

wisetrog July 15, 2009 1:13 AM

actually, nat-sec is her strongest suit. according to polls, most nat sec voters prefer her, so that won't be a problem. she'll need someone to buff up her economic issue /foreign policy issues.

LindaW July 15, 2009 1:20 AM

Maybe she's thinner because she's too busy. When I'm busy I forget to eat or don't have time to eat.

LindaW July 15, 2009 1:21 AM

Me too. I like the idea of Palin/Gingrich. She always seem to agree with him.

What Does Bob Dylan Have To Do With Sarah Palin?

Why do I LIKE Sarah Palin, the politician AND Mom...?

I like the way she talks about faith and family and America... and I believe and trust her. Period.

To me, Sarah speaks spirit-to-spirt as friend-to-friend, in the same sense that Jesus meant when he told his disciples that he called them "friends"...

I don't know if Bob Dylan has said anything about Sarah Palin the politician (or MOM), but the heartfelt words of total strangers about Bob Dylan and his 1980s Christian songs reminded me for some reason of Sarah Palin the person, who bows the knee to the same Heavenly Father... so here are some of the comments about Bob's song "When He Returns" from "Slow Train Coming"

- ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6yRxd6t1pkw )

* This song was among the first to make me aware of how great a singer Dylan actually is...the emotional passion he invokes simply cannot be denied...

* Everyone's got something to say.. But not many stop to pray.. I was here in the Bay.. On that cold autumn day.. When this good Christian man was laughed off the stage....

True Story Fillmore West San Francisco

The beauty of it is, Bob tasted the fine wine of Christ and will return to a yet higher place than then.

He can never forget the Pure Fragrance of the Holy of the Holiest.

I have peace and joy knowing that.

May God bless Him with every Good Gift.

Many will mock this.
I don't care.
Go on

* Beautiful ~ Well said!

I fell in love with this suffering God that loved us so, shortly before Bob did.

More than once his worship left me prostrate before the lover of my soul.

I know The pain & abandonment he must have felt when his faith was new.

My first marriage was broken because my husband mocked, ridiculed, & abandoned me for becoming a believer.

Bob paid a terrible price for his love of Ye'Shua.

He still believes & I pray his greatest labor for love of Yah is still ahead of him.

* Agreed!!!

And his lyrics are so personally and close the heart.

God bless Dylan and protect him.

* ... re: bob ,my sentiments exactly..

A personal note...

I heard Dylan in a San Francisco concert in 1982(?), and in the interlude between songs, in the stillness of anticipation, from the upper reaches of the balcony came a plaintive single male voice, clear and articulate, "play the old songs..., pleasssseee".

At the very instant that the last sound of the "e" faded away, Bob strummed his guitar and sang, "changed my way of thinking"

What a wonderful memory... exactly my sentiments. Period... forever.

sarah needs to end the media frenzy. NOW.

1. end this nonsense about leaving becuase people attacked her.

2.
A. say she got EVERY one of her campaign promises done or in progress. (pipeline)

(and)

B. say (again) she did not want to go through a wasted session based on speculation that she would run for prez because she is not running for Gov. again.

3. If asked about 2012, say the door is open, but at this point I am working on my book to get the truth out to the people of america about who I am and what I want to see america go forward with.

thats all she needs to say.

TommyReport July 15, 2009 3:12 AM

Just,

I actually didn't think it wasn't that bad. They haven't ruled her out and appear willing to give her an opportunity.

She probably should give Cullen a call. That guy went to bat for her even though the state as a whole probably isn't the best fit for her in a general election (the primary is a different story).

However, going forward, I think she should avoid commenting on the decision to resign. She'll have to hope she can win back the support of those who view it as a negative through her campaigning.

Just Sayin July 15, 2009 3:31 AM

I agree. Let's hope so.

U think Romney will be the Barracuda's biggest contender there?

OT Robin from Berkeley has kind words for Sarah Palin at the American Thinker:

http://tiny.cc/2SDbt

TommyReport July 15, 2009 3:38 AM

Just,

No. Palin's her own greatest competitor.

If she performs to the level we believe she's capable of performing, she's got it. At her absolute apex, she's heads and shoulders above everyone else. We saw that at the convention, which is currently rated as the greatest speech of all time if you go by Gallup's poll.

If she doesn't perform up to that level, well, she's not going to be able to bust through.

TommyReport July 15, 2009 3:44 AM

http://www.gallup.com/poll/110107/republicans-enthusiasm-jumps-after-convention.aspx

She did indeed rate higher than Obama.

Palin: 60% (42% great/18% good)

Obama: 58% (35% great/23% good)

I think we're all waiting for that Sarah Palin to return post July 26th.

TommyReport July 15, 2009 3:47 AM

More comparison

Hillary 52%
McCain 47% (15% excellent, 32% excellent)
Kerry 52% (25% excellent, 27% good)
Dole 52% (20% excellent, 32% good)
Gore 51% (18% excellent, 33% good)
Bush 2000 51% (19% excellent, 32% good)
Bush 2004 49% (22% excellent, 27% good)

Just Sayin July 15, 2009 3:53 AM

Go Robin! Great Column.

Tommy: I guess we'll see then....sometimes I just wish I could see ahead and prepare lol....and where did you find that poll??? link?

Just Sayin July 15, 2009 3:56 AM

oh nevermind haha

"I think we're all waiting for that Sarah Palin to return post July 26th."

for sure.

MWN July 15, 2009 4:11 AM

Palin is very popular in NC, more than McCain ever was. She would beat Obama head-to-head. The demographics have changed, but the bitter clingers are still the majority here. If that poll says different, don't believe it.

I've got my finger on the pulse of this state. Ba-bum, ba-bum, ba-bum...

TommyReport said: "Palin's her own greatest competitor. If she performs to the level we believe she's capable of performing, she's got it. At her absolute apex, she's heads and shoulders above everyone else."

Yep. That focus group guy (frank luntz I think) on Hannity the other night bugged me to death saying that Americans didn't want to hear herh whining about the ethics charges in her resignation announcement. I was yelling like, "She wasn't talking to you!" She was talking to Alaska. But going forward, Frank has a point. As of July 26th if she has to defend herself, she should do so quickly and decisively, and then attack, attack, attack, attack, attack, attack.......

You get the idea.

BAHAHAHAHAHHA, they DO remind you of the old Muppet guys in the balcony.

THAT is so funny.

I needed that little laugh. I've the worst head cold shared with me by my teens when they came back from camp and a recuperating eye from our city's July 4th fireworks display. Would you believe a hot ember floated across the river where they were launching and went straight in my eye? Talk about weird...had to go to the ER and everything.

Anyway, thanks! HA!

katiejane July 15, 2009 12:29 PM

I agree with Sheya

I don’t think she actually said “Conservative Democrats” I think she said candidates from any party who have conservative values. The MSM is just spinning.
Even if she did what Sarah means by campaigning for conservative Democrats is in areas where Republicans have no chance

She said people with Conservative values - let's face it - there aren't a lot of Dems with those.

It's bad enough that all the chattering fools are trying to spin and twist what Palin said - why can't WE take her at her words. Until she says she's planning on running for another office why can't we support the idea that she's going to work to advance the ideas and positions Conservatives support? Let her speak out, fundraise, write her book and solve her financial issues, catch her breath.

As for Huck - IMO he is as much a user looking to ride her skirttails as Romney is.

Nancy July 15, 2009 12:39 PM

I'll be praying for you!
