What We Still Stand For

C4P - Who We Are and What We Stand For

It is irrelevant to us whether Sarah Palin runs for governor again, runs for president, or runs for any other elected office. If she were to say, "I've had enough. I'm going to retire and ride snowmachines in the winter and fish in the summer," we would still support her.

We are a "Cincinnatus Blog" and she is our Cincinnatus.

We never said that we agreed with everything that she does, but we have always supported her vision.

We support what she achieved, and what she tried to achieve, and what she may yet achieve.

UPDATE by VO: This is the point at which the wimps bail out. Screw it - I'm throwing all my chips on red. I'm sticking with this, along with anyone else who is still willing. This is fascinating.

UPDATE by Sinistar: I wrote this months ago to the contributors to C4P... and I still believe it:
If she chooses to retire from politics, we would support that decision as well. We support her for who she is and the principles she stands for. Unto that end, Governor Palin has become an example of what a citizen politician and principled conservative should be. The world needs more people who think and act like the Governor of Alaska in whatever their line of work.

UPDATE by Daniel: Listen to Governor Palin's response when John Ziegler asked her if she's thought about leaving public life:

UPDATE II by Daniel: (h/t to http://hbhls.blogspot.com/) Mark Levin on Governor Palin's Resignation:

AMEN. Even if she never runs for anything again, we need a LEADER right now who will speak out against this ATROCITY of an administration and unite and rally the conservative movement.

I'm on the edge of my seat waiting to see what she does next, but I hope she takes a week of and relaxes and enjoys herself after Parnell takes over.

I pray for this country for the lost of this wonderful woman. If somehow, by God's grace she is able to rise up to the presidency, we will as Americans the most fortunate of people! This woman no matter what happens is a phenomenal person!

Meg Stapleton was just on Fox. It sure sounds like Governor Palin is running in 2012! Meg didn't say that specifically but is sure seems to be her point. Paraphrasing, Meg said Palin has been inspired by recent trips to the lower 48. Also says this decision has been in the works for a long time. Also said she will be actively campaigning for GOP candidates, although she has no specific gigs set up yet.

Sarah Palin is the definition of an unconventional, independent politician. Her loyalties are to the people who elected her to do a job. When she can no longer do that job effectively, she is out. But she is not done. I support her because I believe she is doing all of this for the right reasons. Why are we all so schocked? Because we have NEVER, NEVER, NEVER seen an elected official that is so REAL, and so grounded in reality and what is best for those who elected her to serve. That said...won't every opponent in the future say, "You didn't even serve your full term, why should we elect you to this job just so you can resign?" Sorry, guys, I'm just a little scared and shook up right now.

I hope I'm not true but this is what I posted at HA:

I was afraid of this and it has come to pass. She’s the political equivalent of Edith Wharton’s Lily Bart. Someone whose sense of honor is so acute that she’ll try and rise above it all and that very honor inflames a cynical world determined to see her punished. The House of Mirth is a quinteseential American tragedy and today we have the political equivalent.

Congratulations, America, you’ve just managed to beat the one good person in politics.

Al B,
That was my take on Meg's comments too. Someone from the RGA just implied that she resigned now so that she could campaign in the lower 48. Just now, a reporter from an Anchorage TV station told Stuart Varney that some close to Palin say she has her sights on Washington DC.

JeanA July 3, 2009 5:44 PM

Gov. Palin now belongs to the lowere 48.

I'm in all of the way; this is going to be a blast. Finally, a leader who's willing to lead, regardless of title or position. An American patriot stepping up to effect change on America.

It's a bold move and very courageous; she will be ridiculed and second-guessed and marked for dead, but one thing is certain - she will speak out for America and its principles.

LadySam July 3, 2009 5:50 PM

Everyone needs to take a deep breath....continue to trust Sarah....actually HEAR her words and what Meg and the head of the Gov Assoc said. This reminds me of when Palin took a risk and resigned from the Oil and Gas Committee - basically becoming "nonexistent" to the AK Republican Party.

She knew what she was doing then, just as she does now. She rose from those ashes, and she'll do it again.

The Aged P July 3, 2009 5:58 PM

from NRO
From an Alaskan in Palin circles:

many are writing her political obit now but in the past she's always
risen from the ashes because she "connects" so well w/ ordinary people.

will she run for prez? I would say "probably" just because that's her
history/pattern. she ran for lt guv in 2002 and no one thought she had a
prayer. she spent pennies compared to the other 4 and came in 2nd.
then she took that job at the oil & gas commission but quit that to run
for guv. no one gave her a chance and yet she won the primary then went
on to beat Tony Knowles.

honestly, I have to take the resignation at face value — she was weary
of the unending ethics complaints that she had to defend personally —
they are not wealthy people and the debt was staggering. This allows
her to finish her book, go on tour, and never have to worry again about
being a state employee subject to the Executive Branch ethics laws. she
can hopefully knit her family back together and then after the 2010
election, see how she's polling and how much $$$ she's raised.

My Alaskan adds: "she has seemed tired ... not having any fun anymore. The Auburn thing was such a shot of adrenalin. Why stick around here?"

She MUST be brilliant! Gosh, Donna Brazil is SUPPORTING Sarah's resignation as a smart move. "She needs the time to get the experience" and to gather votes. GOOD JOB, Donna!

(Go jump in the lake, Ed.)

Doug (formerly DB) July 3, 2009 6:18 PM

Chris Cilizza sees this move as a sure sign she's running in 2012. This is what wrote:

Palin To Resign, Focus on Presidential Run

"Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin will resign her office later this month, according to several sources familiar with her decision, freeing her to build a national political team and travel the country in support of an expected 2012 presidential bid.

The first term governor is stepping down "so that she can take the fight for her issues elsewhere," according to a Palin aide.

Palin's decision comes amid polling that showed her losing altitude from the stratospheric heights to which she ascended following her election in 2006 but remained a strong favorite to win reelection.

Some Republican strategists expressed skepticism about Palin's decision.

"I'm not smart enough to see the strategy in this," said John Weaver, a senior party strategist. "Good point guards don't quit and walk off the court."

Ron Bonjean, a Republican consultant, said, "Governor Palin can now run for President
without playing the balancing act of keep Alaskan voters happy. While she has a core following, many Republicans are getting tired of the constant drama that surrounds her
family."

National Democrats also were quick to criticize the move.

"Her decision to abandon her post and the people of Alaska who elected her continues a pattern of bizarre behavior that more than anything else may explain the decision she made today," said Hari Sevugan, a spokesman for the Democratic National Committee.

Palin is the second potential 2012 candidate to decide against reelection. Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty chose not to run for a third term last month.

As we wrote recently, the logistics of running for president while the sitting governor of the Last Frontier is nearly impossible.

Palin spokeswoman Meg Stapleton rejected the idea the move was aimed at 2012. "She is not focused on 2012 -- she is focused on making a difference on the topics she finds so dear: energy independence [and] national security."

Torrey July 3, 2009 6:19 PM

Does anyone have the full video of her press conference? I really want to see her entire speech from the beginning. I am really excited about this.

Jack Okie July 3, 2009 6:19 PM

Read the press release, folks. I think she's going to jump into the 10th Amendment movement in a big way. As she has pointed out, it's not a question of left / right, Democrat / Republican or liberal / conservative anymore. It's Imperial Washington DC vs The People. If she gets out in front of the 10th Amendment movement, she can be catalyst to bring it all together and start forcing the federal government back to its enumerated powers. The battleground is not in Washington DC, it is to elect state legislators, governors and attorneys general who will push back hard.

Start reading up on Nullification.

Piney July 3, 2009 6:33 PM

Another thought, Governor Palin was a bit ham-strung because of the real threat of reprisals against Alaska (military funding, drilling etc) if she verbalized her thoughts about the current WH resident and his drolling-fat-boy-in-a-candy-store spending sprees. Now, she can make any statement she wants without Alaska getting the hits from BO.

I'm a student of symbolism...
What Sarah did today is HUGELY more symbolic and momentous than if she had made an appearance at a July 4th Tea Party.(Even in DC)

July 3rd: Sarah Palin's "Declaration Of Independence.'

She'll be in the hearts, minds (and prayers) of MANY Tea Party participants tomorrow.

(AND I'm hoping to see her at our Wasilla Tea Party rally tomorrow)

I agree that it does allow Sarah to campaign and do what Reagan did from 1976-1980. Her political opponents will use resigning against her. They will also use lack of experience against her. How will Sarah beat those claims? Sarah can make this work and win in 2012.

You are in our constant prayers and you have our full support in all your endeavors.

Thank you Alaska for putting Palin on the map! And I'm sorry you won't have her anymore- I know I would be crushed too.

With love from Texas...xoxoxo

Torrey July 3, 2009 6:49 PM

For anyone who is interested I just found out they are reairing her press conference on CSPAN in about an hour (7:54 et).

nerbygirl July 3, 2009 6:52 PM

How could Sarah possibly get anything done as Governor while constantly having to deal with lawsuits and media matters?

She's doing the right thing for her Alaskan constituents. And now she can focus on getting that energy from her State moving across the USA. Without having to deal with frivolous "ethics" complaints.

And whenever she decides to run for President, I will be there to campaign for her.
Go, Sarah, Go!

Nancy July 3, 2009 6:53 PM

Governor Palin just did a crossover dribble, and a head fake. I believe a few liberals and RINOs are looking for their jockstraps right about now.

This is gonna be fun!

wisetrog July 3, 2009 6:55 PM

I've read conservative blogs which today you cannot tell from progressive blogs like Celtic Diva's. I've read Hillary's blogs etc. But nobody not one shows an ounce of respect, decency or loyalty except here. Everybody is like she's finished, no there's a scandal. It's like watching a horror show happening in real time. I've just realized how fucked up place America is. I have truly detested NRO today, something that didn't happen until now.

happymullah July 3, 2009 6:56 PM

Sarah is running an unconventional campaign. Outside-the-box.
It's the only way to beat Obama.
Never forget Obama's 9.5 million vote margin over McCain. How in the world will the GOP overcome that? A Romney campaign at best will bring only 58 million votes, just like what Bush got and even that is considered optimistic.

Sarah knows what she's doing.

VIVA SARAH!

Shyann Canon July 3, 2009 6:56 PM

Nancy....totally agree. I am so stoked about this!! She has gone ROGUE! Which is what we need!!

I'm listening to Levin and people are calling in and most think this was a great move.

Glenn Beck tweeted that it was a good move, too.

Bill in Baltimore July 3, 2009 6:57 PM

Diane P,

nice argument "what if it comes out that Sarah has cheated on Todd"
- well, that would be a bombshell. Please hold your breath on it.

alternatively, what if it came out she has NOT cheated on Todd ? Hmmmmmm.

What if it turns out she hijacks an airplane, flies to Moldova, and announces "LeBron James is the man !"
- boy, she would be toast.

ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha

techno July 3, 2009 6:57 PM

Do you remember a couple of weeks ago John Ziegler on his program mentioned he still favored Sarah not running for POTUS in 2016 but then he said" "Expect a surprise."

Well folks, this is the surprise.

Shyann Canon July 3, 2009 6:59 PM

Please remember that a lot of Repubs did not vote in the polls in the last election. Not because of Palin, but because of McCain.

I wanted to thank you guys for being awesome positive people! it can be disheartening to hear the same smacktalk on the news, but I know when I come here, my spirits and hope are lifted.

I just have to trust that Sarah is a smarter strategist than I, and she truly knows what she's doing. She's lived her life as an outsider, and today she truly flexed those muscles!

I'm very excited for the months to come! Thanks C4P for being so kickass!

PS: I'm still stunnned about all of this.

johnfromcanada July 3, 2009 7:13 PM

Bear with me, for maybe this is obvious. If she is serious about a Potus run in 2012 (which she almost certainly is), then she had to do this and do it NOW. She has to put herself on level ground with Romney, Huck and Pawlenty (even if she's ahead of them now). She has to be free to be where these other guys are, to go where they go and do what they do (not to mention lots more). And this move puts her there and gives her freedom, so that she's no longer held back by the restrictions of being Gov, nor bogged down by the petty politics of her Alaska opponents. It's a shock, but the more I think of it, the more I can see why she did it.

Mick from Free Republic July 3, 2009 7:19 PM

I support her 100% As she said, she is not retreating but attacking in a different direction. And the only liberal who isn't pretending to be happy is BO himself. Because he knows, someday, someway, she is coming after him.......he will fear her to his grave

You are correct. Dennis Miller said recently that Sarah is inside Obama's melon and he can't get rid of her.

Doug (formerly DB) July 3, 2009 7:28 PM

terri,
I went to two rallies last fall in the Cleveland area. It is impossible to descibe the energy and electricity which flows through the crowd when she speaks. She is a force of nature.

Yogi41 July 3, 2009 7:29 PM

Bill Kristol wrote that conservatives were complaining that no one has picked up the mantle to lead and now Palin has stepped up to the plate, willing to lead. He said she may fail or she may succeed, but she has made it clear that she will take the lead.

Reminds me of the time she told her father, "Get out of the way. I'll do it."

eZekiel July 3, 2009 7:30 PM

I am very heartbroken right now, as I do not see what good can come of this. I love MacArthur, but around the time he said "We're not retreating, we're advancing in another direction," that was the beginning of the end of his glorious career. I hope my pessimism is not justified, and that this turns out to be a good move.

Al B. July 3, 2009 7:31 PM

Glad to see you here, man. This is the place.

Dunno on Kristol, but I know he loves the Guv.

Here's something to consider, Rush Limbaugh this week says he's been working on a "super-secret project". Yesterday he announces he'll be gone all next week.

Connection? We'll see. No matter what, God bless the Gov. She's like no other politician I've seen in 5 decades of watching this stuff. Take care man.

Rebecca, Mick's here!!! LOL.

This is whats needed if she wants to build up more support for her as Potus. It would be worthless with a dem majority in the house.

She's not running for her own carrier, it's about ideas , and she need to have time to cheer lead them 2010 and 2012.

Now Sarah can play the role of a battlefield commander in the lower 48 during the 2010 midterms.

Experience will not matter if she can help orchestrate a huge turnaround in the fortunes of the GOP in the House and Senate, especially if one or both houses fall to the GOP.

And by the way regarding the 'homework' issue I think Sarah will now have plenty of time to get her ducks in a row and bone up.

I compare her decision to the stratagy formulated by Air Force pilot Col. John Boyd.
The OODA loop:
Observation; orientation; decision; action. On the face of it, Boyd's loop is a simple reckoning of how human beings make tactical decisions. But it's also an elegant framework for creating competitive advantage. Operating "inside" an adversary's OODA loop -- that is, acting quickly to outthink and outmaneuver rivals -- will, Boyd wrote, "make us appear ambiguous, [and] thereby generate confusion and disorder." h/t fast co.com

ErichNTejas July 3, 2009 7:36 PM

I have no clue what to think about this. Assuming she is making a presidential run, I understand the reasoning that a) she needs time to prepare for a run and b) by leaving now she passes things off to Parnell, who gets to run in 2010as an incumbent. I just don't know if that's sufficient to overcome the "quitter" tag that will no doubt be played against her ad nauseum. I'd like to think her kids just said "mom, forget this nonsense and come back to the real world, we need you...do something later on in politics if you want" and she said "will do." That I could completely understand. Otherwise, I may be in the minority, but I don't think this is the best way to start a presidential bid (shoulder shrug).

Everyone should read the Mike Allen article linked at Hot Air -- to summarize, Palin intends to remain very visible and will seriously consider a 2012 run, but has made NO decision. Will make a series of paid speeches (legal bills?) and campaign appearances/fundraisers for GOP.

Right now, I'd say she is fed up, wants time to think, and doesn't even want to think about the Presidency for a long while.

Why is no one on TV pointing out the fact that OBAMA left his senate seat to campaign for 2 years and after winning the Presidential office another senator had to be appointed to finish his term. WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE...He only actively served as a senator for 2 years out of a six year term.
Sarah has served for 2 years out of a 4 year term.

wisetrog July 3, 2009 7:54 PM

I think she can now travel round the world as well to gain some perspective without any inhibitions. She can speak up for Iran or Israel as she likes to do. She can meet n greet people, and choose very carefully, only the ones whom she trusts n likes. All this is good. Nobody can argue against her lack of experience if she's in public eye all the time. Sorta like Obama. She can quickly turn the attention to the issues away from herself.

WHATever all of the possible scenarios running through our collective minds, I just pray that one of them is not that Sarah has made some kind of deal with Mitt and the RNC that she will be their "It gal"/fundraiser out on the campaign trail with the grassroots

I sincerely hope that today is only the beginning of the "rogue" element in Sarah's DNA.

What matters most is that there was no health crisis. Once I knew that, everything else was gravy. I believe Sarah Palin WILL run for president in 2012, but no matter what she decides, one thing is for certain. She will always do what's best for her family.
The weight that has been lifted off her shoulders at this moment must be incredible. I am happier for her on this day than I have ever been. She has clearly sought the Lord's guidance.
July and August are traditionally my 'internet-free' months each year, but this announcement is going to make that very difficult to uphold. If I'm successful, I'll see you all on Sept. 1. If I've failed, I be back in an hour. (:

Like others have said, I think this is a tactical move to jump over the enemy who have been conducting siege warfare in Alaska against her.
Makes me think of the old saying(or maybe joke) about running a dog sled in the wilderness with a puppy on board in case the wolves get too close. If they do you toss them the puppy. Maybe the AK governorship is the puppy......now she is on open ground away from the enemy siege....and can double back to hit whenever she wants.........like ricwon said above....she looped around for the kill shot

I think they, like most political operatives, are still thinking in conventional mode. They and other pundits are used to politics progressing in a certain way and played within the same parameters and here comes a LEADER (I will never call her a politician) who is attempting to change the rules.

Many will be behind her, as we're tired of the same old playbook that keeps electing the same type of people.

Sarah knows that if she wants that brass ring, she's not going to get it by playing by their rules; she has to try for it by changing the game.

Luckily for her, many millions of Americans agree with her - both parties are losing members and more Americans are unaffiliated with any party. Sarah Palin is going to tap that anger and frustration to her advantage.

But expect pundits and political bloggers to keep posting that there's no way she can succeed - it's never been done, therefore it can't be done. If Sarah succeeds in this risky gamble, they'll be the very last ones to come around and admit they were wrong.

If she fails, they'll crow loudly that they were right.

Sarah has clearly made the decision that she's taking this path, regardless of success or failure. It's gutsy and I'm thrilled she's giving it a shot. No guts, no glory, right? ;)

Torrey July 3, 2009 8:19 PM

I still can't find a complete video of her speech CSPAN came in somewhere in the middle. Also, I don't know how much I trust the article by Mike Allen from Politico after his interview with John Zeigler.

Lorna Marie July 3, 2009 8:20 PM

i wrote this for my blog..

Sarah with a Servant's Heart.

Sarah Palin has done it again – captured all of our attention. While pundits are all over the spectrum on Palin’s resignation and announcement that she will not run for re-election, Palin supporters have her back with even more fervor. She told us Alaskans do things differently. And she has proven that. While many speculate that there is something deeper going on behind the scenes, those who follow Sarah know that this is classically Sarah - the Sarah Brand of doing things unconventionally but with a servant’s heart. The American political scene was forever changed on August 29, 2008. Sarah Palin is the political climate change. To outsiders what Sarah did today was “shocking”, “erratic”, and “with no real explanation”. To Alaskans and to her supporters, this was Sarah putting Alaskans first. This was not about “abandoning” Alaskans. This was about saving the Governorship from ankle-biting, tax payer money wasting, vengeful, jealous Palin-haters. Let the pundits keep searching for answers between the lines of Sarah’s words. They really don’t have to. Look at her words. Her heart is true. Sarah is true.

Folks, we all know what a 3-ring circus it would have been next spring for Sarah to go on her book tour during the legislative session. The ankle bitters and snipers would have been out in force. Legislative action would probably grind to halt, with every governor wan-a-be screeming, where's Sarah, where's Sarah. The Gov knows this would not be good for the state or the pipeline. So what is a Gov to do to head this off. What she did of course! It takes a very strong and confident person to do what she did. But isn't that what we like about her?

Huskers-For-Palin July 3, 2009 8:44 PM

I guess "standard" wisdom was to stay in Alaska, get a sleu of potshots (bogus ethics complaints), get poo-pooed by the MSM and RINO and just grind into obscurity (unless it's a sick joke or boiler plate ethics complaint).

Meanwhile, the distance of Alaska becomes a factor.

They said she needed experience, they said she needed to study, they said she needed gravitas. Her comes the curve ball and everyone is shocked, the critics crank out the standard stuff and the game gets kicked up a notch.

The more I think about this, the more I smile about it.

For 4 months I have been hammering away at this one issue and I know many of you thought I was crazy and I even once suggested the sooner she could leave the Governor the better it would be. I was all but certain she would not run for re-election but I honestly thought she might stay until the end of the 2009.

------
We were the only one's who said Gov. Palin would not run for reelection. I too do not contemplate Gov. Palin stepping down but her rational make perfect sense to me. As Gov Palin stated she does not what to "milk it". Once the public hear this they will understand and applaud the honesty. Gov. Palin knows the public impulse is turning against Pols and turning back to the heartland.

I also had thought and a question for T-Paw why are you Milking it since you are not running for reelection.

Illinois Conservative (Whitney) July 3, 2009 9:13 PM

I still don't entirely know what to think of this. I know that she has the full support of all of us at C4P. The MSM and elites have been trashing her since the August, so what does she have to lose on that level? I just know whatever presidential opponent she may face will use this against her (if she runs, but it now seems obvious that she will run), but that doesn't mean it will work. Although President Obama didn't complete his first term as senator either, not that he a template for presidential success as the first six months of his presidency have shown.

She has been and always will be uncoventional. I truly appreciate this, and I know she will have a strong voice with whatever her future endeavors may be. I hope that with the freedom that she now has, it will allow her to enjoy time with her family and to truly be herself with whatever public path she may take. Today may be the eve of us celebrating our independence, but it appears that Gov. Sarah (I only have a few more weeks to call her that, then what? I do like goddess of energy like some have suggested) is celebrating her independence today.

As a former high school point guard myself, I particularly enjoyed this from her speech today:

"A good point guard drives through a full court press, protecting the ball, keeping her eye on the basket… and she knows exactly when to pass the ball so that the team can WIN. And I’m doing that – keeping our eye on the ball that represents sound priorities – smaller government, energy independence, national security, freedom! And I know when it’s time to pass the ball – for victory."

I think she has further laid out her platform for her PAC and for any future political endeavors.

Brianus, when I didn't see you in the earlier threads, I knew that your brother's funeral was today.

I've been to many funeral Masses, but no Latin High Masses, ever. What a dignified tribute. I know this day has been emotionally wrenching for you and yours, but admidst all the news here, we still think about our C4P brethren and hope all is going as well as can be expected.

Stay well and check back soon.

After that crossover dribble and head fake, she blew past conventional wisdom.

Wow, I must admit at first I had a pit in my stomach that this was not good for whatever reason emerged. However, that pit quickly gushed through my veins as excitement. I am energized and all in!

From my sources this had many, many reasons behind it. I have had heard that Obama has it out for Alaska as payback and by removing herself from the equation Alaska should be spared. I have heard that on her recent trip overseas there were many pleas for her help and that she was "shaken" at the indifference in this administration for national security. I have heard that there are some political insiders asking her to rebuild and lead the party in grassroots and fundraising returning to conservative roots. I have also heard that she is concerned for her children.

I believe that all of this plays into her decision and that with time this woman will not only emerge as brilliant but worthy of POTUS. I think that in 3 years after she has been traveling around fundraising and helping grassroots elections, appearing as a commentator on news and radio, attending policy forums and joining think tanks, traveling overseas and across the lower 48 this woman will not only be prepared but welcomed to fight the fight!!

Sarah Palin is not a campaign, Sarah Palin is a crusade!

I for one, am all in. I will follow her and fight for her.

However, for now, I don't want anymore surprises :)

All in on the Lady with the Red Pumps.

Give 'em Hell, Sarah!

She is one brave soul.

She is my American Idol.

Gosh, I love this woman.

I wish her all the best!

My head is still spinning from this news.

KentonAK,

I'll be at the Wasilla Tea Party too. Looks like we're going to have great weather.

I'm not a Christian. I'm not pro-Life. But I love Sarah Palin.

She is inspirational to me and I will stick by her through thick and thin, come hell or high water.

I think I'm gonna take my Palin yard sign down and wait with for the Obama landslide win in 2012 , the dissapearance of the party of Lincoln and the destruction of the United States of America.

:(

Carmelo Junior-

"I apologize...I forgot you were still here...You may go now."

Carmelo Junior:

I'm sorry to see you go. We had wonderful discussions.

So Sarah Palin is not running for re-election. Talent wise she is no different. And now she will have more time to attack Obama.

Firelight July 4, 2009 2:16 AM

I read this comment on another board but I LOVED it!

Democrats have spent the last 10 months in fear of a certain pitbull with lipstick, now they will be terrified that this same pitbull is now on the loose... be afraid, very, very afraid.

:)
