UPDATED: Sarah Palin - The World's Greatest
For my previous post on this video, I was (rightfully) called out on not giving credit where it is due. For that, I apologize. I was writing and publishing quickly and I failed to acknowledge the inspirations for this video. StandingStrong4Sarah made two AMAZING Sarah Palin "Bests" videos from which I borrowed heavily. The main purpose of this film is to share with you some clips that you might not have seen and to uplift and encourage all of your Palin-ites out there. Seth you were handed a challenge and met it. I had hoped for the clip on giving alaskans a better discourse. Such a great line. The one about her picture not being on the Alaskan republican website and her dad's response perfect. However, I am going to give both videos a tie. If this healthcare bill is passed and turned out to be a disaster, the GOP can go into the 2012 election defining Obama as The Death Panel President.
So whether the bill is passed or failed, Sarah Palin has done a very good job in defining Obama and the Democratic Party.

1) YOU are here talking about Sarah Palin, and on your weekend, too. If she were irrelevant, wouldn't you choose to do something else? Come to think of it, to comment about Sarah, YOU LISTENED to what Sarah had to say. Oh, ho, ho, the irony must be lost on you.
2) Gibbs and all the Dem talking heads looked at an ordinary private citizen's FACEBOOK post (that's Sarah Palin's post) of all places and repeated her words within a COUPLE of days.
3) CITIZENS realized the truth in her words and all across America, poll shows declining support for Obama and the health reform bill. That's right, a MAJORITY of people listened to Palin and found her words to be so precise and true, that they found a voice to articulate their rightful fears and concerns.
4) PRESIDENT OBAMA listened to her and repeated her effective words all over the news and the country.
5) THE DEMOCRATS changed their minds and dropped the death panel-type provision in their own bill.
6) and SEBELIUS today started talking about a non-profit, non-govt controlled option.
TELL Me, if sarah were so stupid, how come she WON this argument? How come it's your supposed "smart" obama and dems who were "outsmarted" by Palin? The dems are the ones who are backing down now.

You are absolutely right! As a woman of strong character and conservative values, Sarah is a really class act. I don't think that it is good to put any mere human on a pedestal. How about the Rocky theme?!? Part of Sarah's wonderful appeal is that she is one among us, the regular people, the patriot's, who want to recover and live the Founders' vision for America.
It all started with a facebook post. She is a genius. Don't anyone ever underestimate the lady from the North.
I love Sarah Palin and what she stands for. C4P is my first choice for SP info. I guess I'll check back tomorrow when possibly the comment section will be slightly better moderated. If I wanted to read these kind of comments I would simply google Sarah Palin.

After seeing Seth's video all I could think about was the FAITH this great lady shows it is in everything she says and does...I had wrote this and posted on Palinnation last week...this what I found when I looked at her video and speeches...
What a year the lady most of us call Sarah and feel as if she is part of our family has had; from the highest high to deepness of the Abyss. What did she have within her that allowed her the strength of heart to rise above the darkness. To find the answer I went looking at videos, old speech, I found it in plain sight, but I chose 5 videos (which most of you have seen) but for me they showed the heart of the lady we call Sarah.
The first, video/speech was August 29 2008. I like most of you had never heard of Governor Sarah Palin of the Great State of Alaska but what I saw and heard that day was a person with a servants heart. How was I to know that moment in time was the start of a journey that would make me and others wonder what had humanity became. A year later I feel a sadness because I feel it was the last time she was free (until July 26). So the question is what does she have within her that let her go on.
The second, video/speech for me was the 7 minutes she spoke at Tracks deployment. I can tell you this one touched me because , I had watched my grandson deploy to Iraq in 2004. As she spoke to the 4000 troops she was not allowed to be just the mother of one of those troops her tears had to come later. In an interview she was ask what it was like to know that her son was one of those she was talking to, her answer was "I had to bit my lip a few times, that was my baby out there". A mother’s heart. The question is what does she have within that gave her the strength to give that 7 minute speech.
The third and forth, video/speech I see as one. The first as she stood in her backyard and said "I am resigning as your governor", because she knew she could no longer govern the state and the people she loved. With A servants heart the lady we call Sarah stepped aside so her state could move forward. What must have gone into that decision? Tears, a betrayed heart, and frustration we will never know. The second was her last speech in Fairbanks saying goodbye her journey had come full circle. There was almost a freedom in her speech, was there still hurt I would think so. But I saw something at the end of the speech that made the rumor of the divorce laughable. If you watch all the way to the end, it is as if she cannot get to Todd fast enough just that few seconds for him to hold her. Although, Todd is her rock. One must understand he is not the Rock she stands on. When you know who the Rock is, you know the answer to the question. Where dose her strength come from?
I found the answer in almost every video/speech she gave. But the video/speech where she said it plain and clear for all to hear was her right to life speech in IN. The Fifth, video/speech where she laid her heart and soul so all could see she gave us all the answer when she said "oh, God what else did I have but MY FAITH". I understand she was talking about the birth of Trig and what she had gone through, but if you have looked at her videos/speeches you know that is the ROCK she stands on her Faith.
What I found is Sarah knows without doubt that as she moves forward into the wind fighting to stand and looking for the darkness to become light she knows that she will endure based on her confidence in God's strength and faithfulness.
Without doubt we know the answer to the question, where and who her strength comes from. Because she told us.
There was one video that made me smile. There she was the governor of a state out fishing. Looking more like a 15 year old in her waders, ponytail, fish guts and all. But she knew through God's Grace and faithfulness she had endured and was free like the wind that was blowing in her face.
This is what I found.

I know that we are supposed to "let Sarah be Sarah" around here, but it's really time for a major policy address.
WH has made a Fabian retreat. The guts of the bill are still there, and HR3200 has not been pulled down. Public Option was pulled away as a tactical move only-and it will be put back piecemiel as the whole support structure to RUN the public option is still in the bill.
Palin's opportunity is clear. She is the only Republican who can command the attention of the news media like Obama. Now is the time for a major policy address, laying out a conservative, market-based alternative to the monstrosity that Obama is trying to dump on us.
Not only does she need to lay out to the nation the faults with Obamist Care, she needs to present a workable alternative that appeals to the middle of the country.
She can't take this next step on Facebook. Facebook is fine for fighting an asymmetric guerilla campaign against a better armed and financed opponent. But the moment comes when one must sieze the policy agenda.
The Democratic coalition has shown the first signs of cracking. Time for Palin to drive home the wedge and to provide a better alternative for the country.
Only she can do this. No one else can.

While they throw out the bucket of chum, she was with the NRA, than in the 'belly of the beast' from where she directed the first of many torpedo spreads against the Good ship USS Public Option. Sarah has left the door open for the "smart people" Newt, Romney and Jindal to run through. This may be her test as to rather she has to run in '12. If they step up and she stays the Francis Marion (Read Revolutionary War History) she will be happy. If they don't (and I do not expect them to) she will then say and maybe a later issue, step aside I will fix it myself.
