I love Tammy Bruce, but I disagree with her opinion on Newt Gingrich's motives for giving advice to Palin. Gingrich already said he wants to be Palin's VP, so he's probably just trying to be nice, but Palin doesn't need his advice.
I agree with Tammy.
Who is Newt telling Gov. Palin to get an apartment in New York or in Washington. And to get a tv show, and write really good speeches.
Who is Newt to go on national tv and give unsolicited advice to Governor Palin. It was so condescending, it was insulting..
Personally I can only take the shrillness in limited doses.
However, she is spot on when it comes to Gingrich's recent ploy.
Memo to Newt: Sarah Palin is doing just fine, no thanks to the NYC / D.C. establishment that you think she has to suck up to.

One other thing, Newt. When you wish to offer advice to Sarah, do it privately.
What is wrong with Newt. The woman was Governor of a state. Newt go crawl back under a rock and try again.
Newt has the character flaw that all arrogant people possess: they are PRESUMPTUOUS to a fault.
Whereas Sarah is humble to a fault,
we've seen in it Evansville,
Anchorage, Auburn, she knows the footsteps she is following in, and
she treads lightly, mindful of her role. She acknowledges those who have come before, and only steps into a path when she sees others have not ventured forth
