The Toledo Blade says that President Obama is not a great fan of the blogosphere:

Mmmm....fact checking....stories in context.......was that why this conference hosted by the National Endowment for the Arts was held last month? Andrew Breitbart is all over it and particularly the role of Buffy Wicks who oversaw the conference:
Buffy Wicks, Deputy Director of the White House Office of Public Engagement. Wicks has a long history in grassroots organizing and civic engagement. Most recently she was the Director of the Renew America Together effort, the call to service issued by then President-elect Obama.
Thats Buffy Wicks – ex-Howard Dean campaign worker, ex-anti-Walmart agitator, ex-field organiser for Obama’s campaign in California....also with links to ACORN. But don’t worry – Buffy is being paid out of your tax money now.
It’s another Van Jones/ACORN bomb blowing up in the administration’s face and it all comes from the blogosphere....obviously the networks and NYT/WaPo were too busy fact checking to run with it.
But for The Palin Nation the most fascinating titbit is this nugget dug up via
Ace of Spades HQ. Guess who was there – Bim Ayandele “Reputation Management Consultant with Winner and Associates” who helped to organise a national network that mobilised thousands of young professionals to vote for Obama (according to the conference blurb).
Yes – that Winner and Associates, a PR outfit run by Ethan Winner who posted several very polished “grassroots” hit jobs on Governor Palin during the campaign that were, of course, nothing to do with David Axelrod.....
Payback time? No wonder President Obama is not too keen on the blogosphere...

Juan Williams is on O'Reilly defending Obama and his comments about ACORN. His biggest argumrnt is that we a talking about a "little bit" of money - $53 million over 10 years. No one reminds this blathering liberal idiot that Acorn has almost 300 affilates who also get taxpayer money for their corrupt enterprises. And what about the 8.5 billion that ACORN is scheduled to get from the Stimulus Package? How about the $2 million payment to NEA from the stimulus package for their illegal practices. How about the theft of shareholder dollars from the car companies that was given to the Unions by the Barack Obama Administration of Corruption? And we don't even have an accounting of where the $787 trillion TARP dollars went. I am sick of the Washington and federal government corruption and illegal activities. It's time that we demand a Obamagate investigation on the level of what happened to Nixon and demand his resignation or better yet his criminal prosecution.

I don't know if you were just teasing about being close to Gov. Palin's "inner circle". :) Adrienne has met her. RAM, I am not sure, but many of us have our suspicions. :) I, unfortunately, have yet to meet Gov. Palin or anyone who is in her "inner circle".
As far as all of this astroturfing, it seems there is more and more stuff coming out everyday regarding the astroturfing, corruption, and the true colors (red disguised as green) of the Obama administration. Eventually, it is going to all hit the fan.

John Slone from CLSA was just on CNBC World and mentioned Gov. Palin. (around 9:40 et) second segment with Sloan.
The anchor asked why Gov. Palin in a snarky sort of way. The Idiot also mentioned the joke rumor.
Sloan answered Gov. Palin help shaped the Health care debate viz. Facebook and Sloan also mentioned it was a natural to invite Sarah. He also stated Sarah has been very gracious.
Just let everybody know IT IS FOR REAL if you had any doubts.
Hot Air has a clip of Tom Delay on Dancing With the Stars. At the end, when it's time to be judged, Bruno, the effeminate male judge, screams to Delay "You're crazier than Sarah Palin." Of course, the audience hoots and howls.

Bruno is gay so he probably does not support Sarah since she is against gay marriage, so that probably sticks in his crawl. Apparently in our shameful nation's capital and in sleazy punditland facts are like traffic lights. Remeber green means go, yellow means go real fast, and red is merely a suggestion.
However, on a better note, I found a treat today shopping. For some reason, I've been drawn lately into buying patriotic Americana items and displaying them at the front of my house. I have three picture windows and each has cool looking American flags. One is made of tin, another of wooden blocks and the third is off tapestry. Today I found red/white and blue wooden blocks signs saying- America, Liberty and Freedom and the best part is they were on sale for 75% off. Perfect for my window.
I think I started collecting these items during the election. Remember when Obama's numbers went down right after Sarah's powerful convention speech. Obama made a frantic call to all his ground forces to get in our faces. An ACORN worker came pounding on my door and I was upstairs at my computer and could see this person. I decided not to answer my door when I saw her ACORN teashirt. She went back to her car and put another shirt over the ACORN teashirt and came back pounding on my door even louder. I got mad, went downstairs and flung open the door and told her to quit harassing me or I would call the police. She stammered that she must have got the wrong house and when I told her that I saw her little camouflague attempt she took off.
Now since I started my patriotic display, I've had no more ACORN visits. By the time Sarah becomes our 45th President, I could run out of window space. I may have to get a large,fierce dog with a red/white and blue studded collar and station him at my front door with my ACORN-FREE ZONE sign.
And now, we can officially give up our dream of having Governor Palin as our president. The consonant troll, has dashed our hopes at 12:32 am, on September 22, 2009. Now, I will commence getting a life.

Sheya, I am with you 100%. I haven't responded to a troll in a long time, and don't intend to in the future. Any response, serves only to elevate them. If anyone has to respond, just a casual dismissal of "whatever..." would suffice. Just flick them off the shoulder and move on to worthwhile things. They are NO threat and are of NO consequence and don't need to be treated as such.
