Bryan English at the Iowa Family Policy Center just sent the following press release:10/30/09 Pleasant Hill, IA – Iowa Family Policy Center ACTION received word this morning that Governor Sarah Palin is unable to accept our speaking invitation due to her book tour contractual commitments, which cannot be changed.
We extended our invitation knowing she would be in the middle of her book tour and the chances of her being able to accept any invitations were extremely slim.
She has asked if she could speak at a future mutually agreeable date. She will not accept any fees for her appearance.

Personally I'd be happy if Gov Palin NEVER gave a speech for the Iowa Family Policy Center. These groups need to learn that setting her up for negative backlash like they did here has consequences. They admit they knew she had the book tour but they went ahead and publicized their invite maybe trying to push her into a corner so she would attend. Scr*w them.

I'd also point out that Huckabee is pretty tight with the political big wigs in Iowa. Chuck Hurley, the founder of Iowa Family Policy Council, endorsed him in the primary last year. Poor Sarah is having to fight them from all directions. Good thing she's so good at it. ;o)
Jonathan Martin is the biggest hack who has ever hacked tho, and how he considers himself a journalist at all is beyond my comprehension. If the profession had any sense of ethics whatsoever, he'd be drummed out of the ranks and on the unemployment line faster than you could say Boo!

before I came here (just an fyi) I used to chat in their chat room until................ one day someone started raging on ALL D's (in a serious GENERAL way) and the things they were saying were gross and malicious (even for me) AND when I challenged them on it, they suggested I too must be all of those things (without know me at all) and suggested I not come back. That may have happened here too in the beginning but not with as much malice! I don't get it.

We know that the moron got a nice fee for granting a few interviews about the governor to a couple of trashy outlets. Afterwards, It seemed like his image took a bit of a hit with a lot of folks so he needed a fallout plan to justify his actions. So now we are hearing an old tune that we have been hearing before from this rat about being denied access to his son. It seems too late to push this fabrication since at first their narrative was about him getting his story out there. It also seems like his story tale about the Governor saying imaginary things about him publicly isn't sticking. Now we know that this little moron's bodyguard is working on a book and that's why you saw this moron on CBS talking about "fabrications" he will never reveal... Right!
This is all about money and forget the political aspects to this because there isn't any. Playgirl doesn't pay well enough for the moron and his handlers know well that a custody battle would increase his "celebrity stock". I always knew they were always going to cook something up that will lead to this so it doesn't surprise me since someone out there will do pro bono for the publicity. I am not sure what the governor can do in terms of limiting the circus that will come from this via legal terms.

Why would lowlife levi be announcing he is the sole support of his sister while mama is jailed? Isn't she older than him and single with no kids? Are we to believe he is supporting his sister? He doesn't even support his own son.
You have to wonder how Levi's supporting his sister since he doesn't actually have a job. Seems like his first responsibility is to pay child support for his own child - not support his sister. I wouldn't blame the Palins for not letting him be alone with the baby - they probably figure he'd try and make soe money using the child.
