The Daily Beast 'Bus Hoax' Hoax; Updated
Here's another (f)lie to swat:
On her book tour, Sarah Barracuda pretends to be one of the people. But she's really winging across the country on a private jet. As much of her entourage, including HarperCollins publicist Tina Andreadis, risked a collective case of White Line Fever, covering more than 3,000 road miles during the book tour’s first week, Sarah Palin herself seems to have remained above it all, apparently cosseted in the luxury of a Gulfstream II 12-passenger jet rented from Universal Jet Aviation of Boca Raton, Florida, at a cost of more than $4,000 per hour.
(...)
The bottom line is that the plane’s goings and comings track Palin’s tour perfectly: from Grand Rapids to Washington, Pa. and then to Rochester, N.Y., Roanoke, Va., Fayetteville, N.C., Birmingham, Ala., and Jacksonville and Orlando.
On the scale of 1 to 10, 10 being the most disingenuous piece of crap I've ever read, that scores a solid 11. Let's look at the facts - it's not something journalists are supposed to do anymore these days, but humor me:
- on Wednesday the 18th of November, private jet UJT 750 flies from Teterboro (NJ) to Westchester (NY) to pick up Gov. Palin and her family members and personal aides to fly her to the place of the start of her bus tour, namely Grand Rapids (Mi). That same afternoon, the jet flies ahead to Washington County airport (Pa).
- Gov. Palin and her entourage then set off on a three day whistlestop bus tour of Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, and Pennsylvania. That's 650 miles in three days, with six stops in total. Not a bus tour?
- It's only three days later, on the 21st of November, that they use the private jet again to fly to Rochester (NY). Should they have done the five hour, 300+ mile journey by bus, just to satisfy Mr. McGinniss' craving for authenticity?
- On the evening of the same day (still the 21st), the jet flies them to the place of the next event, namely Roanoake (Va). A mere 550 miles, so Gov. Palin could easily have taken the bus, right? I mean, she would certainly have made it on time for her next event, which wasn't till 11am the next morning. Sure, she'd be dead on arrival, but hey: if Joe McGinniss says that's what it takes, then that's what it takes.
- late at night on the 21st, after having dropped the Palin gang off in Roanoke, the jet flies on ahead to Fayetteville (NC). Gov. Palin does the book signing in Roanoke, then jumps on a different jet to fly to Asheville for a private meeting and dinner with the Rev. Billy Graham and his son and daughter. Since this meeting was mainly devoted to the subject of religion, Joe McGinniss would probably have preferred if Gov. Palin had donned sackcloth and ashes and crawled the entire 260 mile distance on her hands and knees. Let's call that one a missed opportunity.
- Gov Palin and crew rejoin the jet on the 23rd in Fayetteville, following the book signing event at Fort Bragg. Apparently, the Palins did the math and came to the conclusion that it was impossible to cover the 500 mile stretch from Fayeteville to Birmingham (AL) in the two hours they had until the next event. Let's put this one down to bad scheduling (we gotta blame her for something, right, Joe?).
- The Birmingham event is a great success, with thousands of people shouting her name and... Sorry, that's not what McGinniss wants to hear. Let's talk flights. On the evening of the 23rd, the private jet (that's private as in: not state-owned. Is that still allowed in the age of Obama, you ask? That will be the subject of our next investigation) takes Gov. Palin from Birmingham to Jacksonville (FL), the place of the first of her three stops in the Sunshine State. The jet flies ahead to the destination of her final stop in the state, Orlando.
- Gov Palin covers the distance between the events by bus. That's another 2 stops and 200 miles on this non-bus tour. At the end of the first part of her book tour, for some reason, she decides against covering the 2,990 miles to Tri-Cities (WA) by bus, and instead opts for flying. Strange, I know.
So what's the point of this non-story? Ultimately, it's the same as the wardrobe saga. Liberal propagandists want you to believe that Palin is a fake populist, someone who claims to live frugally but really loves to live the high life. A sort of John Kerry in drag, if you like. It's their desperate attempt at stopping people from saying that she's "one of us". After all, how can she really be "like me" if she flies a private jet? Answer: she can, because she is. Doesn't matter if she flies a private jet, or even Air Force One: to your average, hard working American, she'll always just be Sarah from Alaska. And that's the way it is, Joe.
Update by Doug: When it comes to writing "disingenuous pieces of crap" about Governor Palin, Joe McGinness has a lot of experience. We have written multiple posts in the past about his efforts in this area. I thought it would be useful to quote from one such post:
Last week, Gov. Palin once again proved herself to be a woman of charity and grace when she refrained from calling the writer Joe McGinniss an idiot. She simply stated that the headline of his ill-informed hit piece in Condé Nast Portfolio is "idiotic." (I would have called him a lying smelly toenail fungus, but that's probably why I've never been elected to higher office.)
McGinniss was interviewed by John Roberts on CNN. Dermot Cole has the story.
We've covered McGinniss' idiocy here, here, here, and here. The real kicker is the press conference that Gov. Palin gave last week to discuss AGIA. Listen to it here.
I'm not going to rehash what we've already covered. Suffice to say -- she's right; he's wrong. Any questions? Follow the links.
UPDATE by VO: Jim Geraghty of National Review has an extensive article out today on McGinnis' hit piece. It's great.
UPDATE II by VO: One thing we should have mentioned - Dermot Cole at the News-Miner reveals that McGinniss has been lying about his interview and photo requests to the Governor. For instance, he's been saying that Palin would not cooperate with him unless she got a guarantee the piece would be favorable. Sharon Leighow, Mr. Bill's deputy, released the actual e-mails in question, and they reveal that Joe McGinniss is full of crap.
Joe McGinness, like HuffPo moron Geoffrey Dunn, is shopping a fictional book to attack Governor Palin. Can you say PDS? Texas4Palin has more on "planegate" here.

now that's called a failed hit piece.
Epic fail.
I also don't believe it costs $4,000 per hour.
Super Super....love it. great job
Talk about grasping at straws.
A straw man is more likely.
Boy it sure must a a slooooow news day!
Nothing going in this country to report on other than that?...
How's about this....Forget about "death panels", all we need is a "Death Panel Czar"!
"Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius will determine what medical treatments are and are not available to you under the Senate health bill. It is quite possible she will determine if you live or die.
A serach of the Senate health bill will bring up "secretary" 2,500 times, <span>according to Susan Ferrechio, Chief Congressional Correspondent for the Washington Examiner</span>.
Ferrechio continues:
Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius would be awarded unprecedented new powers under the proposal, including the authority to decide what medical care should be covered by insurers as well as the terms and conditions of coverage and who should receive it.
"The legislation lists 1,697 times where the secretary of health and humans services is given the authority to create, determine or define things in the bill," said Devon Herrick, a health care expert at the National Center for Policy Analysis.
For instance, on Page 122 of the 2,079-page bill, the secretary is given the power to establish "the basic per enrollee, per month cost, determined on average actuarial basis, for including coverage under a qualified health care plan."...And the bill even empowers the department to establish a Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation that would have the authority to make cost-saving cuts without having to get the approval of Congress first.
"It's a huge amount of power being shifted to HHS, and much of it is highly discretionary," said Edmund Haislmaier, an expert in health care policy and insurance markets at the Heritage Foundation, a conservative think tank.
Haislmaier said one the greatest powers HHS would gain from the bill is the authority to regulate insurance. States currently hold this power, and under the Senate bill, the federal government would usurp it from them. This could lead to the federal government putting restrictions and changes in place that destabilize the private insurance market by forcing companies to lower premiums and other charges, he said.
Destabilizing the private insurance sector is part of the plan to "nudge" everyone into a public plan. It will take time to pull off, but that is the goal. In the meantime, Sebelius will be able to control treatments via capping of price, any treatment she deems unecessary she can mark the price down so low that any health provider won't be able to provide it without losing money.
Once most are in public plan the real cost cutting will begin, including cutting back on treatments that will prolong your life.
More like grasping at straw men.
Even the liberal German media picked up on this non-story. It's a clear case of Palin Derangement Syndrome. They have to report about her, no matter what... It's ridiculous!
You know Sarah should have just gone ahead and gotten the bus with the teleporter feature, either that or the time machine. That way this whole scandal could have been avoided. Nah scratch that, the plane was cheaper although much more scandalous.
Have they jumped on the fact that she used her feet to walk the sidewalk greeting thousands?
DIVA!
I wish these liberal pundits would have been much more concerned when Obama decided to use taxpayer monies to fly Air Force One around NYC for a good photo op instead of which method of transportation a private citizen decides to use for a book tour.
That sounds about right. Check out the Washington Speakers Bureau site where they give the requirments of certain speakers. Some demand a private jet and they list the price. Hannity and Beck, I believe, require private jets.
I think he should cut her some slack. She is a foreigner!
She doesn't know where American cities are and how far away they are from each other!
Joe is just upset because she didn't use a helicopter to do some aerial wolf shooting in between book tour stops!
So does the bus travel separately to each engagement whether or not the Palins & company are on it? I've seen the bus at every stop. It makes sense to fly and get a good night's sleep in a hotel, then meet the bus in the morning. Also, does Palin pay for the jet, or is the jet - and the whole tour - paid for by Harper Collins?
Better send her a Christmas present to stay on her good side. Something like "Marie Antoinette - A Biography".
If they won't concede or believe that she's an absoutely honest person (a life form unknown to them), you'd think by now they'd know that she wouldn't be dumb enough to do that....although with their collective IQs, it might have seemed brilliant.
How do you go about making their lives miserable?? Maybe send it to Greta so she can give them the Idiot of the Week award--or O'Reilly. He's got a crush on her now.
Say it aint so joe....
"Palin apparently returned to New York Sunday night. At least UJT750 was scheduled to take off from Tri-Cities at 6:55 p.m. EST with an 11:30 p.m. arrival at Teterboro, N.J., anticipated. Her next signing is not until Thursday, in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Presumably, she’ll fly to Fayetteville and then board her bus again for the short ride to the local Sam’s Club. Presumably, she’ll also fly over the much greater distances that separate the stops on the western half of her tour, which stretches from Dallas to Minneapolis. Will she continue to pretend she’s riding the bus?"
Ummmm, I believe her next book signings are in Az, and NM and Mo.....She doesn't fo to Arkansas till Thursday.
Oh, the MSM is just adorable. They use 11 reporters to "fact-check" a book full of thruth but don't even bother to make one louse reporter fact-check this: http://www.cbsnews.com/blogs/2009/11/30/politics/politicalhotsheet/entry5837878.shtml
The big thing here is that the jet is provided by HarperCollins, it isn't taxpayer funded. A private citizen flying at a private company's expense, so what is their beef? I suppose 0bama took Greyhound on his 17 city book signing tour, or maybe he hitchhiked. He was a sitting senator at that time, so he was paid by the taxpayers to conduct his private business, did he declare all his perks as income? Just a question.
All these leftist loons are desparate, and they seize upon any straw or wisp of smoke they can, and they look more and more foolish as each day passes.
SeeBS is also spreading this non-story, and then they wonder why Palin hasn't lowered herself to help the ratings of any of their pathetic shows.
This hoax will be the next thing Norah O'Donnell will ambush a teenager at a book signing with.
Hey CBS, it's a "book tour" not a "bus tour".
The smell of fear and panic is becoming overpowering, isn't it.
DCCC goes after Palin and 'lunatic fringe'
http://thehill.com/blogs/blog-briefing-room/news/69801-dccc-goes-after-palin-and-lunatic-fringe
The DCCC is using Sarah Palin as a bogeyman to raise money, calling her book a "lie-riddled work of fiction."
An excerpt from a fundraising email DCCC Executive Director Jon Vogel sent to supporters today:
<p>You and I know that the only thing dead on arrival whenever Sarah Palin grabs a microphone is the truth. Only now, her lie-riddled work of fiction called "Going Rogue" is selling like gangbusters - and it's up to us to give it a proper response.
The media is closely watching to see how grassroots Democrats respond to Palin's attacks before the all-important November FEC deadline that hits Midnight Tonight.
Help us raise $50,000 before Midnight Tonight for our Emergency Health Care Rapid Response Fund so health care supporting Democrats under attack by Sarah Palin and the right-wing lunatic fringe can fight back.
</p><p> </p>
Understand they're issuing a correction. She's not flying around, but Piper's driving the bus because everyone else is loaded. They've got the phone books she's been sitting on as evidence. Trouble.
Does this mean that Obama, his staff, and the reporters will be traveling by bus or a Toyota Prius when he starts up his Town Hall meeting boondoggles in the new year to keep up with Governor Palin?
So, how is Huck getting around for his book tour? How do other authors of Big books(including liberal ones) get around to their book signings? Hint: I bet it's real cose to the way Sarah is doing it!
That's a lot of books.
And is that flight time or what ?
A 2 hour flight, $8,000, ok.
So, say there was 10 people, that'ss $800 per person.
- and the problem is ???
"<span>I always cheer up immensely if an attack is particularly wounding because I think, well, if they attack one personally, it means they have not a single political argument left.</span>" -Margaret Thatcher
They throw mud to see what will stick. Doesn't matter who is paying for the book tour. IT isn't the Government.
First time I met Joe McGinnis, he was in Alaska working on his book about the pipeline called 'Going to Extremes.' He was conducting an interview with a bartender in a rest room. At least that's what I think they were doing, McGinnis had a little square of paper with some white powder on it, must have been using it to take notes.
After that, he was sued by Jeffrey McDonald, the Green Beret doctor who was convicted of murdering his wife and daughters. McDonald claimed that McGinnis lied to him and took statements from him out of context. The publisher settled.
I next heard about him when he was accused of plagiarism in connection with his book about Teddy Kennedy:
http://www.phoenixnewtimes.com/1993-09-01/news/that-s-spelled-p-l-a-g-i-a-r-i-s-m/
This is one sleazy writer with no sense of ethics or propriety.
Yup...but I have to say, go Jackie! :)
Huck is too busy releasing murderers back into the streets so that they can kill again, didnt you get the memo
The media is obsessed with Sarah because she can beat Obama..Obama is a one term disaster, even Katie Couric ripped him to shreads, Katie The Perky one Couric, yeah that one..so yeah, Obama is done and they know it, so they are freaking out becuase they know Sarah can beat Obama..a libs worst nightmare is a conservative woman in the white house
Welcome back, Jane!
WHAAAAAAAAAAAT????....PRIVATE JET?????...
Hey Whacko's...It's Called..... "Modern Day Transportation"...
You know... like when Your the #1 Book Seller...and... The Publisher..wants to make sure they get...The Biggest Bang for a BUCK!?!?!?
It's Called...MARKETING...WHACKO'S...Let me spell it for you MORONS....
M A R K E T I N G!...YEESH!
Hey everybody!!!
I hope y'all had a good Thanksgiving! I gained 5 pounds (probably because of all the twizzlers I ate in the car...)
Just read some of the comments down below. A shout-out? SWEET!!!!!!!!!!!!! I got all jumpy inside when watching. Anybody else? ;)
T-Shirt: We should have the editors names/ commentors names on the back.
Got the book FINALLY! I couldn't read it until we were in the car. Read it in an hour. Then read it again. Then again. And again.
BTW, I wasn't on Amazon fighting off trolls. I don't even have an Amazon account. Great, I just disappointed half of y'all...
Would someone pretty please tell Gov. Palin Jane says hi??? Please??? With a cherry on top???
Thank you! Thy punishment is over! :)
That would be 9 letters Joe, not 8. Sheesh.
Hey Kiddo!!!!!!!...Miss Ya... Bunches!...Glad to have you Back!!! :):)
The dumb thing was this guy asking like they are the Federal Government. This is private industry they don't have to answer anything.
That's an awful lot of "!". Does that mean you're happy to see me? ;)
Maybe these looney tunes thought her book tour should be conducted from her home, with millions of people going to her.
Verrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry Happy!!!!
I still love how this idiot tries to get Harper Collins to talk. And like it matters who was on the flight.
Hey did you guys see Glenn Beck's chart today of all the presidents' since 1900. It showed experience in the private sector. BO was a blip. It was pitiful, really.
anyway, I was wondering how gov. Palin would tally. I was wondering what they used as criteria.
Excuse me for being O/T, but the Open Thread from this morning is winding down. I have just uploaded some of my pics from the Richland, WA book signing. They are also up on TeamSarah, if you are a member there. Enjoy. :^)
http://www.flickr.com/photos/45135053@N03/
LOL!
"Going Rogue" has Dems in it? I guess that was the boring part I skipped over...
the left is stepping up the attacks on sarah now that she is the current frontrunner.
Good. :) Me too.
That was a long punishment; I thought you would be gone for only 2 weeks? Oh well, good to have you back. :)
I will be at the book signing on Saturday in Fairfax.
I don't want to purchase BJ's $45 membership fee, so I will forgo standing in line for hours on end to reporting on the event, pics and hopefully video.
Sebelius is the butcher of Kansas.
Huck wrote a book?
Like Chuck Heath can testify that Trig is Sarah's son... he saw him being born...
I can testify that Mrs. Palin did take the "Going Rogue" Bus from Jacksonville, to The Villages, to Orlando. There was no running to the airport to get through the Florida stops. Each leg took about 1.5 hours and that bus moves... very... slowly. Check out my blog.
http://www.teamsarah.org/profiles/blogs/from-the-road-in-florida
Some legs of the trip are best taken by jet, some by bus.
Joe Mcginness is just lonely... he wonders when he's going to see some love.
Fishing each year at Bristol Bay and the snowmachine shop are the businesses, although they don't own the shop anymore.
You know what would rock?
A Youtube of Piper Palin driving the tour bus to Sniff'n The Tears "Driver's Seat" with clips of her driving, Sarah holding Trig with family on the bus, and footage of America and the book signings.
Just kickin!!!
Sarah should have the plane fly loops over lower Manhattan at rush hour and play chicken with the tall buildings. That's what Obama did, so the left would just have to admire her.
Little do they know that what they are calling "lunatic fringe" is actually the "Silent Majority".
Nope, we got no bus in Rochester. :(
WELCOME BACK! Hopefully you have been able to lurk some, 'cause you've missed two weeks of AWESOME C4P shenanigans and you'll never be able to catch up on the back-log even if you devote the entire Christmas school vacation to it......
Yep. And Doug asks in his update "Can you say PDS?" Yes we can! Si se puede!
And concerning these knaves and fools who try to attack Sarah, we can also say "POS".
Sweet note from Shealah Craighead on why the photos from the signings aren't up yet:
"<span>Pardon the delay. Due to the fantastic outpouring of support at each book signing event, I am running behind on posting photos from each event. And am working as quickly as possible to post the photographs. I am just as anxious for you to view the photos, as many memories have been captured. Thank you for your continued patience and support."</span>
She also now has a link up to SarahPac.
Anyone dumb enough to respond to that solicitation <span>deserves</span> to be separated from their money.
Piper driving? Uh-oh. Maybe Cruela will get the job after all.
Here's Tina Andreadis from Harper Collins:
http://theplumline.whorunsgov.com/republican-party/sarah-palins-publisher-confirms-she-took-private-plane-on-book-tour/
I had been wondering what was taking so long, but patience pays off. I see I got a couple photos with the Governor. Excellent!
This latest news is absolutely TRAGIC for Sarah...It could sink any hopes for future political ambitions...
Oh.. Sorry...I ment Huckabee...
My bad!
<span>This latest news is absolutely TRAGIC for Sarah...It could sink any hopes for future political ambitions...
Oh.. Sorry...I ment Huckabee...
My bad!</span>
This whole thing is a non-issue. However, CBS is giving coverage to a virulent anti-Palin website. That is unacceptable.
You mean it was Cruela driving after all, and not Piper, as indicated by MarkRNY a page or so earlier??
That would explain it.
According to Lipstick @6:22, it's your fault for having hijacked the bus. You probably just shoved Piper right out of the driver's seat, huh?
Someone told me about a Palin bashing website (Palingates) and I thought that I would check it out for grins and I think that this story started there. They got someone to find out about the flight plans, took screen shots and everything. The irony is that the woman who started this blog is a British ex-pat living in France. I ask you, why would such a person be so deranged? The answer came to me when I saw that she had advertisements for a MoveOn.org t-shirt. Now she is asking people to vote for her site as the "best blog of 2009" or something silly like that and to get people to vote she asks if people like her blog and if they HATE Sarah Palin please vote. In other words, it is not merely dislike but HATE what she is spewing. They send hate information to Huffington Post and the like. They are also working on a campaign to get people to write, call, fax to Ft. Hood asking that Gov. Palin be disinvited. Oh, that's another thing they hate for Sarah to be called Governor. Forget that Mitt Romney and Huckabee are still called Gov., she should not be called that because she "quit", and even if she would have finished her term she should not be called that because she says that Sarah says she does not need a title, and all that nonsense. Anyway, it is funny the derangement that they have, but also quite sad.
My Godmother used to say that she loved for people to talk about her because that meant that she was important enough to be talked about. My Godmother was an attorney, spoke seven languages and was into physical fitness (private trainer) when women were supposed to stay home and cook and clean and raise children. She was also married to a physician and had two children.
CBS.com has picked up this story. I pasted C4P arguement in the comment section on CBS.com as well as at the Daily Beast. Hope no one minds me using Joshua Livestro's post.
Way this guy goes and ask OB the cost of flying Air Force One,well it is 107,00 the hour x the trips around the world in 10 month?
the Jet of Sarah is payed by the publish of the books, by the way she has sell this people 1,700,000 x 6$= (do the math people). I will buy her a house at LA if she ask me!
You Betcha...
Actually if you all want to know the truth...This was all in my plans...to dominate the World.
I must control the actions and movements of that chick that thinks she can GO ROGUE any damn time she wants. She narrowly escaped my grasp in Richmond...but she will fall into my trap next week here in the Springs....Little does she know.....
The Iron Lady *heart* her!
Does Sarah have a dog?..I need to patch a hole in one of my coats.
Nobody ....but NOBODY Goes ROGUE without telling Me First! I had to do it!
No kidding! Of all the trumped up smears against Palin this is the most asinine (the smear against her son is not asinine but cruel). These people are as ignorant about modern travel as they are about a basic internet search. The US is the fourth largest country in the world clocking in at 3,717,812.82 sq mi. Hell some of our states are as large as other countries (hello! Alaska, Texas!) I've had to fly between Dallas and Houston to make family events. How elite of me! How they hell else do you reach as many cities as Palin does w/o flying at some point? Oh, right, the Elite media doesn't consider middle America part of the US. Maybe that's why he thinks the US isn't as big as it really is.
Asses.
I'm actually madder now that I even gave this guy two minutes of my time! I'm going to go eat some chocolate....
Selfish Man!
<span>Selfish Man! Think of all those poor innocent bugs that got sucked into the engines of that plane.</span>
<span>Those poor bug families waiting at home for their loved ones. All because he was too selfish to drive.</span>
<span></span>
<span>I don't know.. don't ask me.. these things just pop into my brain from time to time! </span>
<span></span>
Jet noise, the sound of Freedom!
I think he's bent out of shape 'cause his head has a warm brown center.
These guys really suck at startin a scandal...They left out the part where she showed in to the Richmond signing in ...ready...wait for it....wait for it....AN SUV! Now that is a bloody Scandal!
<span>These guys really suck at starting a scandal...They left out the part where she showed to the Richmond signing in ...ready...wait for it....wait for it....AN SUV! Now that is a bloody Scandal!</span>
Hiya teenage wondergirl.
<span><span>These guys really suck at starting a scandal...They left out the part where she showed to the Richland signing in ...ready...wait for it....wait for it....AN SUV! Now that is a bloody Scandal!</span></span>
Hey, did you hear this one. An Alaskan and a Texan go in a bar. The Texan starts braggin about Texas and how everything is bigger in Texas. The Alaskan tolerates this for a while, but then gets tired of it. Finally she says, "If you don't shut up will split Alaska in half and you'll be the THIRD largest state."
brahahahahaha
We love Texan jokes here in Arkansas.
As for a bus ride from Fayetteville, I don't envy anyone that trip. Talk about your curvy roads. Easy way to lose your lunch.
thanks!!!
I saw the Palingates people kicking and screaming about this a couple of weeks ago. This stuff bubbles up. From their PDS to the mainstream media.
I've had a few tangles with them. They are not worth you're time. Call them out on their lies, and they start babbling incoherently about "evidence yet to be revealed".
It's just a few Europeans who want some notoriety and traffic for their blog, and thus are willing to do anything to get it. They don't care about exposing some scandal. They just want their name out there.
Trolling the bottomfeeders is their MO today...
You know this is actually good fodder for her Gridiron appearance this weekend. I'm looking forward to reports about that.
Good work.
I said it on an earlier thread. Who cares how Gov. Palin gets around. Of course she was going to take a plane from Florida to Washington state. Did anyone really think she was going to drive it?
NEWS FLASH - She will probably be taking another plane to get to Virginia this weekend.
Why is her publisher responding to this? It is none of anyone's business on how she gets around and who is paying for it...
That's why I troll them from time to time, so I know what tomorrow's headlines will be.
I want to know where it is said it is exclusively bus tour? This is Alinsky at work. Anybody with an IQ above 5 (of course that rules out most liberals) could look at the scheduale and see that she would have to fly some of the time.
