Governor Palin Comments on the Murder of Four Police Officers in Washington
Governor Palin tweets the following:
While in Washington State today my heart goes out to the WA police officers gunned down so tragically&senslessly. God comfort the families.
In case you need some background on what she is talking about, read here. This story is the lead story in Seattle right now.

My heart goes out to the families. What a horrible day for them. My prayers are with them.
I read that Huckabee set the suspect free while he was Guv.

I saw that too. Not good for him at all.

Scratch Huck. Now the Evangelicals will be looking for a candidate to unite behind. Could it be Jeb Bush? Tim Pawlenty? Mitt Romney?
...praying...
OT;
I don't understand the rhetoric about the "evangelicals" not supporting Sarah. I am an evangelical, even Assemblies of God, and I most definately support her. There is NOTHING about her that evangelical christians could not support.
Husckers has his "Willie Hortan" moment (heard that he might not run in 2012)
Romney is polling just below 50%
Sarah is looking good now :)
The knives will be out searching records for all Govs.
FYI, and I got this from a poster at HA, Gov Palin toughened the pardon process.

I posted this at Ace about Huckabee commuting the killer of the 4 cops.
Sanford - Appalachia tunnel...to Argentina
Newt - Scozzafava'ed
Cheney - Bush baggage
Mitt - Romneycare, coward
Huckster - Horton'ed out
Jeb Bush - Bush name
Petraeus - Apparently no interest
Jindal - too young, nerdy, and said he's out
Barbour - old, white, gray-haired Southerner
Crist - oh, please
Huntsman - Obamabot
Gary Johnson - Who?
Pawlenty - He of half a testicle and moderation
Who is left?
Thune - Who? VP? maybe if he behaves
Santorum - ? Be good and you get Veep spot
Who is left?
The Commonsense Conservative who walks the talk, and is fearless.
Palin/? 2012
She'll get 55% of the vote, pull the 2004 states of Bush and pick up Wisconsin.
The only question is her Veep. If she is smart, which I think she is, she'll pick the Veep early and it will be someone who gel's well with the team and possibly unites the party and gets focused on vision early and with power.
Palin toughened (made more difficult) the executive clemency process in Alaska.

If anyone has time, post at Race42012 on latest Huckabee thread. Their attacking Palin, because, obviously this could be significant for her. Some idiot supports Jeb Bush, but he's a pretty nasty Palin hater.
This has to hurt the Huckster. It's bad judgment to confuse one's Christian duty to forgive others their debts against oneself, with one's civil duty to hold others to account for their debts against society.
FOUR MORE BROTHER'S IN BLUE
LEST WE FORGET.

What an absolutely sickening story.

i don't know who wrote this.
It struck me as worse than nothing.
And it omits an explanation of why it mentions commutation - what does that have to do with Huck? - it doesn't say.
It seems to try to shift blame without accepting any responsibility, and to say that someone should be tough on the man in the future.
What man? It doesn't say.
Weird and inept.
It reminds me of Ted Kennedy's explanation for the famous event in his life. I was stunned at how poorly he "explained" that. I expected something less inept.
This statement by Huck's team is inept.

So So true
The Privilege of Prayer.... that a sovereign God welcomes mere human beings to touch his heart and effect his work is nothing less than Stunning
Lady Sam,
That's HIS gameplan and conventional wisdom. He's a Minister. I think Sarah can clean up the Evangelical vote AND the Catholic vote (I'm a Catholic). Even without today's events I think she would have won Evangelicals, but Huck could have made inroads, maybe split off enough of them to throw it to T'Paw or Romney. I doubt it though.
As to Catholics, a lot has to be done by individual Catholics to inform others and hold their parish priests accountable. Too many priests and bishops were a profile in missing last time. It was a disgrace. O will never win the Catholic vote again. Sarah's a natural with Catholics on many levels.
Did you see huck's response. Pathetic

As a citizen of Washington State, i am stunned by what happened today.
And happening just 4 weeks after a similar ambush in Seattle, this has to affect police officers deeply.
It is a combination of many factors here in this state which are not worth your time on a Sarah palin website.
The bottom line in my mind is fouled up liberalism. The Sea-Tac area has been dominated by the left for too long.
I am so sorry for the families.
Yes, she is. She's baptized Catholic too.
I know Catholics in Alabama who voted for Obama because of his race, and many did not know about his extreme views on abortion and infanticide.
As a Catholic, I've taken it upon myself to communicate Obama's views to all of them who voted for O despite the voters guides that clearly say the bedrock life issues are the ones that Catholics vote first.
You know what is amazing? Obama being a smoker and the LSM ignoring it.
Exactly. Huck doesn't understand that he cannot forgive sins or truly forgive if there is no remorse by the criminal. What he did was gamble with other peoples' lives to boost his Christian VANITY. That is why you give to Caesar what is Caesar's and to God what is God, and not try to be God.
I could see Rudy Guliani as VP, could appeal to moderates and has name recognition and catchet for handling 9/11 crisis..... I think he likes Lady Sarah too.....
Of course, I'm just an out-of-touch Alaskan and could be talking through my hat.....
Bristol is a barista.
I frequent coffee shops.
It could have been any one of us in there when it happened.

<p>The Forza Coffee Shop, part of a popular local chain, is on a side street near McChord Air Force Base in Tacoma, about 35 miles south of Seattle. The shop is in a small retail center alongside two restaurants, a cigar store and a nail salon.
</p><p>Brad Carpenter, founder and owner of Forza Coffee, said his staff was OK and being interviewed by police, and that his main concern was for the families of the police officers.
</p><p>"I'm a retired police officer, so this really hits close to home for me," said Carpenter, of nearby Gig Harbor.
</p><p>Troyer said the Lakewood officers were two blocks outside their jurisdiction, and the coffee shop was a popular place for officers from surrounding jurisdictions to meet and share information.

This is just desperately sad news. Yes, it just speaks to Huck's commutation, but what's more, there was a pattern of catch and release with this criminal. These officer's all were veterans and had children. One of the officers apparently tried to get at the shooter as he tried to leave Forza's, but it's just a dadgum shame that the this guy was on the loose. Four dead officers.
Apparently he posted bond on another case. I will agree with Huck about one thing: there was a series of criminal justice system failures stretching back into the early nineties over this guy. It is enough for Palin to have made her statement and let the criminal justice system proceed from here.
I left my parish after a knock down, drag out (so to speak) with my pastor
because he said nothing. He knew what O was too. Just didn't want
conflict. Obama had campaign volunteers in my parish helping with bake sales, etc.
The Mac campaign had zero. For some mind numbing reason they just wouldn't
hit his record on life issues hard either as Sarah wanted to. They handed
the Catholic vote to him. Shmidt's a genius.
IMO the Catholic Church mirrors America at large in many ways. About 40%
are well informed and faithful. About 30% are faithful but uninformed
although they naturally lean towards someone like Sarah, and about 30% are off
the wall Pelosi/Kennedy types. Unfortunately, as in the rest of the country,
the Lefty fringe is all over the bureaucracy and has the bull horn. Of
course they supply the priests/nuns the MSM trots out and they have groups
within the Church spreading misinformation without being called out. That can't
be allowed to happen again.
Catholic Sarah supporters can do her a lot of good. It'll be a fight
though. Can't wait!
system.
Perhaps someone should start a Catholics4Palin site? Hint!
Some here have decide to boycott that site - apparently its hit ratings are pretty small anyway. So why give 'em more traffic?
It seems to be a Bullies4Romney site anyway. Operating as typical politicians do, under an assumed name.
This is the 2nd one he released who went on to kill again. 4 cops? Very sad for their families and the police dept. Huckabee won't run again. He does the blame others thing almost as much as barky.
Please, not Santurum for VP. I want Fred Thompson.
And its just going to get worse. As the states run out of money they tend to release large portions of the prison poppulations. And the way our President Obama is going he is not going to increas 'one cent' to eh federal debt, because he is going to shift major parts of the debt burden and financial obligations to the states. a double whammy, and a gift to the criminals soon to be ex-prisioners.
Fake, real or ?
Meet the killer.
Is he following his manhunt online?
