again she nails it and knocks it out of the park. She is just looking so comfortable in front of the camera and articulating her points so well these days!

Add another million or two who have seen Gov. Palin being interviewed. Going Rogue and the accompanying media buzz will definately have a positive effect.

OT, here's something interesting:

Clothes: Sarah Palin’s vs Michelle Obama’s

http://www.redstate.com/bk/2009/11/25/clothes-sarah-palins-vs-michelle-obamas/

The best part:
So it took over two person-years of work to make one dress for Michelle Obama to wear for a couple of hours, never to be seen again? Gee, was any child labor involved? Did the people get paid a living wage? Were working conditions monitored? Imagine if Palin wore something that took two years’ worth of labor! The AP would send a dozen people over for weeks to try to find an underage, underpaid, overworked seamstress.

good interview. she may want to go on CNN, or the today show in the 2nd half of her tour.

Enrigen, November 25, 2009 10:47 AM

I liked the revelation that she was changing a diaper before the Vice Presidential debate with Joe Biden.

I wonder who's going to change Obama's diaper before the Presidential debate with Palin in 2012?

Making nice with Hillary fans. Very smart.

Sarah is doing great and I like Grechen and Fox and Friends.

jimr3, November 25, 2009 10:51 AM

Gretchen seemed to be smitten by Sarah. And although there wasn't a lot of substantive policy discussion in this interview, still, I thought this interview was very good. Sarah just keeps getting better and better, and in a few short months, Sarah will be dynamite force on the interview circuit.
And here is nice video of Sarah’s book signing at the Villages. At the 2:53 mark, be sure to check out little Trig toddling barefoot with Piper in chase!

She's getting better with every interview. Even my sister who blindly loves Obama had to agree with me on the fact that Sarah's interviews have been really going well lately.

AKReport, November 25, 2009 10:58 AM

all lamestream media interviews must be live.

ladydawnelle, November 25, 2009 10:59 AM

The NET has leveled all playing fields! Immediate updates and I always miss the morning shows too!! Thanks you guys! Ur da bestest!

Subject: Sarah's Book Tour

Hypothesis: Sarah is winning the hearts and minds of the American people.

Data Analysis:

1) Large crowds camping overnight in the middle of winter to see Sarah.
2) 4,500 people at a book signing...largest crowd ever?....comparable crowds at Clinton book signing?...Huckabee?(sarc)
3) In 46 hours, from noon on 11/23/09 til 10am of 11/25/09, Sarah's Facebook has added over 9,600 new followers.....over 200 per hour....>3 people per minute.
4) Sarah's popularity in national polls is increasing, Obama's is in free fall.
5) Even some of the beltway elitists are reacting in awe.(those who still have some intelligence left)
6) Liberal heads are exploding at an alarming rate. (video was funny, Sheya)
7) WalMart has announced a nationwide shortage of Depends. Congress is considering funding a Depends factory overseas? (should I invest in stock?)

Conclusion: Sucess.......Sarah Wins & Wins BIG.

Okay, so some of my data analysis points are somewhat subjective...specifically 5,6,&7. But the rest are fact.

Prediction: Sarah's book tour will be extended to more areas of the country. A third printing of the book will become necessary. The book tour will be interrupted for strategic stops where Sarah will endorse strong common sense conservatives. Fund raising for the Republican Governor's Association will have a record year. Sarah is already working on her second book.....along the line of Taking Our Country Back, Principles of a Common Sense Conservative.

Sometimes, it's hell having a scientific background.....feelings & thoughts get studied and analyzed. But this time my analysis matches my GUT INSTINCT 100%.

Viva la barracuda!

ladydawnelle, November 25, 2009 11:30 AM

ur sooo right!

KeeleyH, November 25, 2009 11:30 AM

I love her answer about Katie Couric. LOL.

She does great when she's with an interviewer whom she knows is not going to ask her gotcha questions. She's very natural around most of the Fox people. I thought she was not completely relaxed with O'Reilly because it was her first interview with him and she didn't know what to expect. She's also relatively relaxed with Matt Lauer, and to some extent Wolf Blitzer (the second interview with him). I think it's just a matter of getting used to the questions (even the tough foreign policy questions) as well as getting used to the interviewers (even non-Fox ones).

defendAmerica, November 25, 2009 11:42 AM

I like that Gretchen pulled put some random tidbits from the book that have not been discussed yet. Not everyone is going to read that she was changing diapers before the debate, so I love that things like that are "leaking" out.

LadySam, November 25, 2009 11:55 AM

The most political statement she made to date was about Common Sense Conservatisim and the Rupublican Party. "IF they don't listen..." Also bet Katie's head is spinnin!!!

riley4palin, November 25, 2009 11:59 AM

I really like Gretchen and the Governor seemed very comfortable with her as well. They seemed to have very good chemistry. I hope she stops by the curvy couch sometime down the road. It will go a long way in showing some Independent voters her lighter and more fun side.

How about tag teaming with Brian and doing the sports segment sometime?

AmeriCuda, November 25, 2009 12:09 PM

I suspect her ROGUE sequel, a policy/philosophy book will be out by this time next year (after the mid-terms but before Christmas). The moment this book is released with be the official kick-off of her campaign.

Dan C, November 25, 2009 12:29 PM

With Dobbs out of the equation, Obama and Romney are tied at 44%, Obama leads Huckabee 45% to 41%, and the president leads Palin 46% to 43%.

this is from rasmussen. Shes only down 3? That is fantastic.

JeanA, November 25, 2009 12:48 PM

Oprah to interview Obama at WH. Palin is living in his head rent free.

ZH, November 25, 2009 1:22 PM

Great interview!

LT, November 25, 2009 1:28 PM

Love it love it LOVE IT! I only hope this is the middle of a trend and that we aren't just seeing the convergence of Obama's low point (Health Care/Afghanistan) and Palin's high point (book tour). Fingers crossed but I believe its the former.

Recovering Democrat, November 25, 2009 1:39 PM

OMgosh ... ROFL. :-)

Recovering Democrat, November 25, 2009 1:43 PM

He was so jealous of Sarah's interview. It's another "I have a bracelet, too" moment. LOL

juju, November 25, 2009 1:51 PM

Don't dare watch it....we don't want that program to get any great ratings.

juju, November 25, 2009 1:54 PM

One of the MAJOR factors regarding any poll that Palin, Huck and Romeny are in you need to remember Palin is the only one of the three that has been diced in every direction by everyone....nothing left but repeats....let Huck or Romney have this done to them and see where their ratings are.

Dobbs never was in the equasion. He is not even a fly on the wall. Any reference to him is being pushed by msn,cnn to stir up drama.

alwaysfiredup, November 25, 2009 3:01 PM

I loved the interview, but the guys walking off set at the end was, well, bullcrap. Babies and diapers are not "women's work."

alwaysfiredup, November 25, 2009 3:05 PM

Mmm, yeah, I have interviews too, I have more interviews, and they're longer. Um, yeah, longer interviews, so many more, so many more important people who want to interview me, hear my story, yeah. I have like forty interviews, forty or fifty interviews, more than yours, yeah.

Kristen Wiig cracks me up.

tim c, November 25, 2009 3:23 PM

OK I sent this tip to the editors this AM but I guess at the time they couldn't find it. Watch this especially at about 1:40 on, it is about Sarah and it is fantastic.

Also as a woman who can wear a belt, since when is your waistline just below the girls. I thought it was always closer to your hip bones but this may be a new definition. Jus' being catty but will someone tell her that the belt thing is not flattering....end of rant

OldDude, November 25, 2009 3:48 PM

very nice...didn't know much about Ditka's politics and found that interesting...naturally, his views on Sarah are right on target!

hrh, November 25, 2009 4:32 PM

He campaigned with Palin & family on Halloween in PA last year. :)

TangledThorns, November 25, 2009 4:35 PM

Finally got to watch this and you'd think this was a campaign rally. Good stuff!!

James in Missouri, November 25, 2009 5:11 PM

This was Sarah's best interview. Home Run.

OldDude, November 25, 2009 5:15 PM

Thanks, hrh.

Puma.for.Life, November 25, 2009 5:55 PM

An excellent interview and I also thought it was strange that the men left the room when talking about diapers; that is passe. Most men today help out with the kids and know how to change a diaper.

M. Minnesota, November 25, 2009 6:01 PM

I think one of the reasons that this was such good interview is because I suspect both women are women of faith. Gretchen Carslon's dad was a pastor. Another reason Gretchen Carlson is from Minnesota! :-)

The supposed back story regarding the failed teleprompter was that there was a telephoned threat to the RNC Convention that the teleprompter for Palin was gonna get messed with. In thier nervousness, they tried to make the teleprompter "more old school" so to speak. the person who would nomally would have handled the teleprompter was not availible. So the quick repacement teleprompter person that person not only froze/blanked the teleprompter, but sped ahead of her as well.

Two words: Jesus wept.

Captain Ego can't stand being shown up by the Crazy Woman from Wasilla. She's the only Republican who gets under his skin, and stays there.

ricwon, November 25, 2009 8:18 PM

I was a big Kiran Chetry fan and was disappointed when she left FnF for CNN. It has taken awhile to warm up to Gretchen, but I have been seeing more of a conservative pov from Gretchen when she has been on BOR as a commenter. Something that I wouldn't have attributed to her.
Brian K is still hard to take though.

onexsturtle, November 25, 2009 9:29 PM

She didn't look nervous around O'Reilly to me. I thought she looked pretty relaxed with him. She's already met him before. I think she sounded a bit nervous when she was interviewed by Rush. She doesn't seem to have too much fun with Hannity. I think she had more fun w/ Gretchen Carlson. I loved her answer to the Katie Couric question too.

onexsturtle, November 25, 2009 9:30 PM

I liked how Gretchen said that she's very real and she's just a working mother like most women. It is strange that women hate her when she's just a working mother who's trying to do what's right in this world for her children's sake.

onexsturtle, November 25, 2009 9:31 PM

I thought she changed diapers before the RNC speech. I gotta go back to read again.

onexsturtle, November 25, 2009 9:32 PM

LOL! Yeah, I bet the Obamas were jealous when Sarah was on Oprah's show.

onexsturtle, November 25, 2009 9:32 PM

I know. The only time guys walk away is when girls talk about the period.

onexsturtle, November 25, 2009 9:33 PM

I know. The only time guys walk away is when girls talk about their period.

onexsturtle, November 25, 2009 9:40 PM

Awesome. Thanks for sharing that!

onexsturtle, November 25, 2009 9:40 PM

Yep. She was very relaxed. I think she feeds off the energy from the crowd.

onexsturtle, November 25, 2009 9:42 PM

Where'd you hear that story?

eclecticak, November 26, 2009 4:20 AM

Did ya see how serious that moving wall of big guys in black suits and burr haircuts looks? I'd say they have ramped up security since the egg incident.....

AnnO, November 26, 2009 7:46 AM

Thank you Sheya for puting up this video so quickly. You guys that post on this site are incredible - love you and all the hard work that is put into keeping this site upto date. With each interview, Sarah is getting more relaxed - more Reaganisque. I was one of the honored wrist band holders in Jacksonville, FL. Sarah and her family are just AWESOME.
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving Sheya - be blessed and be safe.
Ann
