John Ziegler Reviews Going Rogue; Governor Palin to Appear on Bill Cunningham's Radio Show Next Sunday

John Ziegler, creator of the documentary, Media Malpractice: How Obama got Elected and Palin was Targeted, has a review of Governor Palin's book, Going Rogue, that will be posted at Mediaite tomorrow. Here is a short excerpt of the review that has been posted:

For many reasons, this is by far the best book and greatest literary achievement by a political figure in my lifetime. I strongly believe that if every Republican primary voter reads this book, Sarah Palin will win the 2012 nomination in a landslide, whether she wants it or not. The real Sarah Palin is alive and well, and now you have the chance to finally find out who she is and understand why millions of her fans are so devoted to her, even when she is just a private citizen who cares deeply about her country.

As many of you know, Mr. Ziegler has been a staunch supporter and defender of Governor Palin. He devotes much of his documentary to Governor Palin and how she was smeared and attacked by the media during the 2008 Presidential campaign. He has interviewed her both in his film and on his radio show when he was at KGIL radio in Los Angeles.

Mr. Ziegler also appeared on Bill Cunningham's nationally syndicated radio show last night and talked about Governor Palin and the book. Click the image to listen:

Bill Cunningham also announced last night that Governor Palin is tentatively scheduled to appear on a segment of his radio show next Sunday night (10pm-1am ET; check local listings for station).

Update: Ziegler's full review of Going Rogue can be found here.

O/T Did you guys hear how Carl Camerson just reported on The Fox Report that Levi Johnson was posing for Playboy?????? LOL And goofy Carl didn't even catch his error. He probably doesn't know the difference between Playgirl and Playboy anyway ... kinda like he accused Sarah of not knowing the difference between a country and a continent.

Recovering Democrat, November 16, 2009 8:27 PM

Camerson = Cameron
Johnson = Johnston

(Sorry!)

I heard part of a Ziegler radio interview.

No understatements.

He has high expectations.

I think his review posts at 12:01 am ET?

It will be favorable.

debtstar, November 16, 2009 8:51 PM

That was even better though.. LOL.

Lakerfanalways, November 16, 2009 8:53 PM

New poll over at Politico. Lower right side.

Who do you believe about the McCain campaign?

Sarah's camp
McCain's camp
I'll read book and decide
I don't care.

Deidre, November 16, 2009 8:54 PM

I have to listen to Dennis Miller--he CRACKS me up!

RINO-Hunter, November 16, 2009 8:56 PM

Hopefully Dennis will stick to sports analogies and won't bury her in obscure cultural references.

A, November 16, 2009 9:08 PM

Never underestimate Sarah.

A, November 16, 2009 9:08 PM

My answer: Not Politico.

Ironically all those in the media Bernie mentions who defended the terrorist are the same people who attack Governor Palin. That's says something doesn’t it?

President Sarah Palin. That's an ankle-snapping stretch. But to be the GOP nominee? That's merely a strain. I think she can make a comeback. From where she comes back, I'm not sure. The truth is that Palin's threshold problem is sobriety. Americans don't think she's experienced enough to be president. Palin has displayed no evidence that she accepts this judgment. A few Randy Scheunemann epistles on her Facebook page do not convey experience. A mid-summer's dalliance with Death Panels made her look foolish, or worse. The key to a comeback is to change something about yourself, and Sarah Palin is making it too easy for us because nothing seems to need changing. If populism fuses with cultural conservatism, Palin can probably win a Republican nomination, or -- because the rules of the GOP nomination process still favor the establishment -- a spot on a third party ticket.

I agree with marc on some points he makes about the frm governor.

Enough of the fluffy Oprah show stuff, It's time for some policy oriented interviews. I am not sure what Palin is doing right now but it sure doesn't look like she has any plans on running in 2012. She is clearly gunning to get her favorability numbers up with these interviews but she is failing to address the problem that most americans think that she is unqualified to be president.

It's pretty clear to most folks that she won't be running in 2012. So what Palin should do now is make a lot of cash and eventually she has to immerse herself with national policy or she will fade from the politically scene if she doesn't eventually do this.

Start explaining policy initiatives and stop the reagan generalities because it won't help you in the long run. That's how you win skeptical indies and conservative dems.

She will eventually have to make a bid at a senate seat whether it be in another state or in AK in 2014 because the resignation damaged her tremulously. A few years in the senate will most likely offset the resignation in the end.

Deidre, November 16, 2009 9:31 PM

I'm scared to read, is it bad?

Deidre, November 16, 2009 9:32 PM

Heh, not so bad!!!

Lakerfanalways, November 16, 2009 9:32 PM

Oprah isnt about policy. Did anyone think Oprahs interview would be about policy LOL its OPRAH WINFREY..the policy stuff will come tomorrow, wednesday, thursday, and friday.

narciso, November 16, 2009 9:44 PM

Ambinder who has been wrong about the tea parties, was over the top about the Ft. Hood address, he's not the weakest read in the shop that belongs to Conor Clarke

hrh, November 16, 2009 9:45 PM

Bingo!

Not sure what you mean by "interviews."

1. Oprah's is the only one we've seen.
2. She answers the questions she's asked.

hrh, November 16, 2009 9:47 PM

My comment is to Patty. Is she supposed to tell Oprah and Barbara what questions to ask her?

Wait until Rush,

Deidre, November 16, 2009 9:51 PM

reading some of the Baba interview transcript, I think it will be quite entertaining. Death panels, political correctness, etc. Good stuff!

Dan C, November 16, 2009 9:53 PM

I just read the transcript of Oprah and I think it went really well.

Sarah on Greta NEXT WEEK

Beehive, November 16, 2009 10:12 PM

What?

Did I miss something?

I think the Guv has been doing fine. Give me a break. She is blasting away at national issues via Facebook and OP-EDs. Might I direct you to the Guv's Facebook Note page. There are numerous policy issues.

She is not a beltway politician and thank goodness for that. She doesn't fit the typical politicians mold. She is not a cookie cutter. She is not a Beltway DC type.

This book tour is about her book and selling her book. She has had ONE interview. Oprah is not a policy kind of gal. Good grief. Look how many interviews she has lined up.

I don't think it's clear that she isn't running in 2012. I actually think she is thinking it might be a go but waiting to see what is happening in 2011 with Obama and where his numbers are.

And I really don't agree with your comment "stop the Reagan generalities" . Have you ever thought that maybe the reason she always quotes Reagan is because she admires him and supports his policies. She doesn't say things to please people. She speaks from her heart and what she believes.

So if she doesnt't do what YOU think she should do, she is done. Finished. She should just go run for senate or make tons of cash and disappear.

I disagree.

dana perino was greta's guest tonight and she was so positive about palin and the interview and book. it was great a must see

narciso, November 16, 2009 10:16 PM

It seems everyone on the panel wanted her to run, Carville quipped 'we wouldn't be spending an hour discussing Mitt Romney" Kristen and S,E. to varying degrees, Carville and Stephanie Miller
dismissively, the last bringing up NY 23 (don't count your chickens Steph)

I just got an mass-sent-out email from SarahPAC and it was a very gracious letter about fighting for our nation and supporting conservative candidates around the country. It did say that a $100 or more donation to SarahPAC (to support other conservative candidates) would get a signed copy of her book.

Beehive, November 16, 2009 10:19 PM

I don't know what's going on there Lipstick but I just got annoyed.

MarkRNY, November 16, 2009 10:21 PM

Anyone watching The Prisoner? The Beltway, Patty Hughs, "Intellectual" types are Villagers. They can't conceive of anyone or anything outside of The Village and The Villages way of doing things. Sarah's an enigma to them and will always be one. She sends them into a computer loop.

It's very far from being an "ankle bighting stretch" that Sarah will be the next president. Look at what's happening this week. Who's bighting their ankles? "Death Panels" might have been THE decisive blow against Obamacare--but they'll repeat until the Crack of Doom that it was ridiculous/stupid, etc. Their house of cards worldview comes apart if they don't. Their life is keeping reality at arms length.

Tune them out.

MarkRNY, November 16, 2009 10:30 PM

I've contributed--a lot...how come I never get e-mails?? I'm not a bad guy...

I'll contribute the hundred bucks anyway!

Beehive, November 16, 2009 10:36 PM

Hey my post is gone.

I posted that I got an email from SarahPAC. She said if you contribute $100 or more she will send a signed Going Rogue book.

MarkRNY

I wasn't getting any emails until this last time. I did change my email address the last time I donated. I don't know why some get them and some don't.

Oh and I don't think your a bad guy. How could you be donating to the Guv!

sandrainoregon, November 16, 2009 10:46 PM

Sarah's charm was very evident. I suspect that there was a set up in some of the dialogue.

gelston the knowitall, November 16, 2009 10:47 PM

Hillbuzz has some leaked pictures that had me on the floor laughing.
No, they are not real... but they are very funny.

It's been 1 day, Patty. Perhaps you can demonstrate some patience and wait for the subsequent interviews with Walters, Rush, Hannity, Greta, Laura, O'Reilly and others. Since you're so keen on giving Palin unsolicited advice, take some from the rest of us and wait until she's through with her tour. If she doesn't touch any policy by then, your point will stand. But something tells me that beginning tomorrow, policy will be discussed.

Beehive, November 16, 2009 11:05 PM

New Facebook post.

About the Newsweek Mag Cover

yogi41, November 16, 2009 11:06 PM

Those reviews are horrible; it's like they didn't even read the book, but are just parsing together accounts they've picked up from our MSM, especially that Australian one.

defendAmerica, November 16, 2009 11:14 PM

The choice of photo for the cover of this week's Newsweek is unfortunate. When it comes to Sarah Palin, this "news" magazine has relished focusing on the irrelevant rather than the relevant. The Runner's World magazine one-page profile for which this photo was taken was all about health and fitness - a subject to which I am devoted and which is critically important to this nation. The out-of-context Newsweek approach is sexist and oh-so-expected by now. If anyone can learn anything from it: it shows why you shouldn't judge a book by its cover, gender, or color of skin. The media will do anything to draw attention - even if out of context.

- Sarah Palin

Patty Hewes, November 16, 2009 11:22 PM

Those facebook notes won't do a thing to change perception about the Governor since it's such a small medium. Who knows? Maybe she will go on Oreilly and Walters and knock us out with some of the things she has outlined in her facebook notes which argue against several of the healthcare bills that are being debated on in congress right now.

All I want for the Governor do is be more aggressive in her approach when it comes to policy matters. She has the retail politics aspect of campaigning patted down, but she needs to speak fluently about these issues in front of a camera while being pressed by the moderator and that's how she will win people over. Hostile settings like these will only help her grow as a politician. ( Think Hillary vs Obama) Obama grew as a politician after all those debates with the frm first lady. No one is perfect in this world but I think we can find great potential in people when they learn from their mistakes and adjust accordingly in any aspect in life. exp: I am playing this game called age of empires and I kept getting defeated on hardest mode so I looked back and corrected some of my mistakes and eventually I won after 4 tries lol. What would a game on easy mode teach me?

narciso, November 16, 2009 11:40 PM

Oprah was just the appetizer, from the excerpts of tomorrow's appearance with Barbara Walters, she's moving to the more combative phase, and Rush and O'Reilly and Miller will follow up. The problem with the media is that they really are so superificial that they don't understand 'death
panels' or the exigencies of the war on terror, or basic economics
