NRSC Won't Spend Money In Contested Primaries
It appears that at least one of the establishment GOP organizations, the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC), learned something from the Dede Scozzafava debacle. In an article for Talking Points Memo, Eric Kleefeld wrote:
On the heels of the NY-23 special House election, in which Conservative Party insurgent Doug Hoffman overtook moderate GOP nominee Dede Scozzafava, only to lose to Democrat Bill Owens, NRSC chairman John Cornyn (R-TX) has announced that the GOP's national Senate committee will not be spending money in contested primaries.
"There's no incentive for us to weigh in," Cornyn told ABC News. "We have to look at our resources."
This could have huge ramifications in the Florida Senate race, where moderate Gov. Charlie Crist has been endorsed by the NRSC, and faces the more conservative former state House Speaker Marco Rubio. Crist has already emerged as a new top target for the same right-wing activists who went after Scozzafava.
More here. As Kleefeld notes, this could provide a substantial boost to Marco Rubio in his primary contest with Charlie Crist for the Republican nomination in the Florida Senate race next year. Although there has been no word from the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) or the Republican National Committee (RNC), it appears that the grass roots, through Doug Hoffman's candidacy, has at least gotten the attention of the NRSC.
Governor Palin, in her Facebook Note yesterday, had this to say regarding Doug Hoffman's loss in NY-23:
The race for New York’s 23rd District is not over, just postponed until 2010.
Doug Hoffman, for his part, appears to be heeding Governor Palin's call as Stacy McCain notes:
Hoffman said one of his neighbors told him today that this amazing campaign was "target practice." One of his old friends stopped by and mentioned the yard signs she had distributed. "Keep 'em for next year," Hoffman said.
"Keep 'em for next year" sounds good to me. When next year arrives, Hoffman will only have to fight the Democrat candidate, not the Washington Republicans as well.

So, the NRSC has stopped hitting itself with the mallet, good to know, but the first time should have been a clue
Finally. If the NRCC does the same this opens the door to prdinary Barbarians.
Finally. If the NRCC does the same this opens the door to ordinary Barbarians
Finally. If the NRCC does the same this opens the door to Ordinary Barbarians
Thank goodness for Palin Power!
Love the "target practice" quote. Need to dial in those howitzers ever so slightly.
Not bought on Hoffman the best choice for '10. There may be other good choices for NY-23. We will see. Somebody needs to tell Dede to switch parties so a true Republican can get in there.
The NRSC should pull back their endorsement.
Commenter Bob Belvedere on the Stacy McCain page linked by Doug added this post script:
"It's Time To ROC 'N' ROLL: Restore Our Constitution & Restore Our Lost Liberties"
Amen. Exactly. Great motto!
Endorsement means nothing money is everything. Christ just saw probably a million dollars go down the toilet. How much do you want to bet there was a Conference call dealing with Florida. Sarah may have even been included. Now the NRCC needs to come on board.
As I've been saying, the NY election was about more than Hoffman winning. :-)
Just because Hoffman didn't win the election, didn't mean that this wasn't a "win" for
conservatives.
TPTB in the GOP now know there's a new sheriff in town, and things are gonna change around here.
It's starting now, and it's gonna be a fun ride!
Ratings for Crist are going south, as the stimulus continues to prove not to have worked, and Rubio is starting to really match up
OT - What is the deal with this Malek guy. Whenever there is a leak now on Sarah note his name is somewhere in the picture. Either that or did Kirk leak to try to get Sarah to commit.
Cillizza has another article up.
I don't think the Guv is going to insert herself into the Florida primary.
Morning Fix: Courting Sarah Palin
The news that Illinois Rep. Mark Kirk (R) is actively seeking the backing of former Alaska governor Sarah Palinin his Senate primary race is the latest evidence of the power the 2008 vice presidential nominee carries -- thanks to the fact that she has become the voice of the angry right. The rumor that Palin is considering weighing in on a race is enough to set a candidate on edge; witness the nervousness of Gov. Charlie Crist (R-Fla.) at simply the whisper that Palin was likely to endorsed former state House speaker Marco Rubio in the Florida Senate primary. (It's not happening, according to Palin spokeswoman Meg Stapleton, who says an it's too early for an endorsement of either Rubio or Crist.) Palin is, by all accounts, focused heavily on her book, which hits shelves on Nov. 17, and isn't jonesing to throw herself into a series of primary fights any time soon
http://voices.washingtonpost.com/thefix/morning-fix/morning-fix-13.html?wprss=thefix
Malek is a believer in Sarah. He tries not to look too impartial because Sarah needs to stay an outsider.
I think the leak came from Kirk. I think it is to make Sarah look "radical or cold" if she doesn't endorse him. I also think it had the opposite effect, I think it makes Sarah look wise and Kirk look scared and desperate.
I wonder when Coryn said, "[w]e have to look at our resources" if he really meant "that darn SarahPAC has sucked up all of our contributions"!
TPTB?
"the powers that be"
"I don't think the Guv is going to insert herself into the Florida primary."
Maybe not now, but maybe she will later. "Meg Stapleton, who says it's too early for an endorsement of either Rubio or Crist."
The way I read it, is it's too soon, Cornyn does seem to have a better learning curve, seeing what the sister committee has done. The Clique seems to have lived up to their reputation
"thanks to the fact that she has become the voice of the angry right"
Axelrod: The angry right only gets you 45% of the vote
What is Cillizza a talking point for Axelrod?
"the angry right only gets you 45% of the vote"..
Maybe....in a 2 week election!
Same as John Coale (Greta's Husband) but they are used too often for their 2 cents.
I caught that. A little surprising from Chris. Usually he stays away from such divisive language.
Another good right up about NY-23 was done by Doctor Zero.
Blaming Doug Hoffman, or people like Fred Thompson and Sarah Palin who pitched in to help his outsider campaign, for last night’s narrow defeat would be a dangerous mistake.
http://hotair.com/greenroom/archives/2009/11/04/dangerous-lessons/
NY,
That was good.
Dr Zero was right, EVERYONE learned something from Tuesday's election.
And Dr Zero was also right....Michael Steele has got to go.
Just thought this was interesting.....
From a pretty generic article on one of Sarah's "book signing stops" at the Mall in Minnesota.....
"Sarah Palin has such a tremendous army of supporters here," said Michael Brodkorb, deputy chairman of the state Republican Party.
"This is a tremendous opportunity for the activists around the state who want the opportunity to talk with her, to meet with her," he said.
"activists".....just thought that was an odd term to describe her fans.
Is THAT what we are now?
He was on the recovery, and then he had a relapse. It's partially this desire to balance say the Kirk search for an endorsement, and her negatives.
Whitney,
You are exactly right!... have received donation requests from Coryn and didn't contribute. Im Texan but Coryn is not a favorite... too much RINO!
terri,
UR Right... we were activists a year ago... now Common Sense Conservatives/Sarah Palin Americans
"Activists" - too tame. We're the "angry right"..."the mob"..."intolerant"...blah, blah, blah.
Actually we're the keepers of the flame lit by the pilgrims, the revolutionary patriots and the Founders, and kept by the veterans who fought our wars. We're the taxpayers and the ones who nurture our families, volunteer in our towns and serve in our nation's armed forces.
We're the ones trying to prevent that flame from being extinguished by the true haters, those who despise us and all that we hold dear and who work in opposition to the principles on which this republic was founded.
I think Governor Palin was well aware of the Fred Malek leak before it happened. I don't believe Malek ever mentions her name to the press without her personal knowledge. Loyalty comes before all else. Otherwise, they are shown the door.
I believe the Kirk endorsement was thrown out to "test the waters" with the conservative base.
Governor Palin is way more intelligent than all of those other guys combined. She is well aware that she needs her base solidly behind her and not questioning her judgment, and then you go after the Independents.
The other bozos in the GOP establishment and possible competitors in '12,think its best to attract the Moderates and Indies first, then the base. Common Sense vs. Brain Dead Part 59.
How do I get in touch with Sarah ? It's very important. I'm not kidding you.
I e-mailed SarahPAC but is there any other way ? Also have someone posting on Facebook for me.
Thanks.
Sorry for the repeats on all threads.
Stays away from being divisive? Really?
Cillizza goes back and forth regarding Palin's power and influence more than watching a tennis match.
As for Michael Steele, he was quoted yesterday by being in the business of "multiplication and additions" for the Republican party.
What about the subtraction part by filtering 900K to a liberal like Scozzi?
Big huge mistake, but all is quickly forgiven.
Do you have tweeter? Also try Kristin Cole. She has a real estate agency in Wasilla.
Yes, I have Twitter, but to where ? AKGov ? I suppose I should know, but who
is Kristen Cole ?
OT....
Picture from Bachmann's protest on capital hill....
http://tweetphoto.com/trrzag7s
Ok, I e-mailed Kristan Cole
that pic from DC is great ! it looks like the Tea Party on Sept 12.
And a nice sunny day, brisk, perfect.
He is over the map with Sarah but he normally stays away from the tough words.
I hope the NRCC would give some more publicity to Lt. Col. Allen West In the Florida. He is a strong conservative. It takes a lot of money to run for a OCngressional Seat. I think eventaully Gov. Palin will endorse him.
OT..
If anyone is interested here's a live cam at the healthcare ralley....
http://interactive.foxnews.com/livestream/live.html?chanId=3
Politico has a story up about the TEA Party protesters currently in DC:
Tea partiers hit Capitol
""Palin/Bachmann 2012," came a shout from the crowd."
http://www.politico.com/news/stories/1109/29183.html#replyform
No chants for Huck, or Mitt, or Tim or Newt
:-)
NBC's Andrea Mitchell's Nightly News report will list "a hundred or so Tea Baggers" came to Washington today.
You mean like Newt in NY23? ;)
Classification: UNCLASSIFIED
Caveats: NONE
Kristen Cole is the one that Sarah put in charge of the Alaska Fund Trust.
Greta interviewed her. Definitely an inner circle Palin person especially on
the friend side. Go to this twitter site and it has her E-Mail.
http://twitter.com/KristanCole
Oh man, do I wish I was there!!! I went round and round about going. Made the right decision but man, oh, man, I bet they're having so much fun!!
9/12 was fantastic!
OT, but CNN's website had a feature on Palin's book tour being unconventional by avoiding big cities. http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2009/11/05/palin-book-tour-takes-unconventional-path/
I made the mistake of reading some of the comments. They predictably say she is stupid but the prevailing assertions are that she is scared and avoiding people who might oppose her and who are smarter than her. I simply commented to ask how they explain the Oprah and Walters events coming up. I'm not bothered by the assertions because I know they are false; but I can't help being bothered by the fact that these opinions are so prevalent among those who don't support her. Sad. Sad sad sad.
It's CNN, two thirds of the cable audience, doesn't watch them at all. You start from that perspective, they are terribly disinformed and proud of it, over there
Obama's position on Foxnews destroys this.
Google Kristan Cole, AK and you will see her website with an email address.
It is curious, though, Obama sought to deligitimize Fox all through the primaries, then he came on finally with O'Reilly and the latter pulled his punches. We know the one he can't stand at all, is Hannity, and one he probably would be cautious about has been Greta, who's been pretty savage on the bailouts
Thanks for that - watched until they bumped it to the WH pres conferene. Bleghh.
Now I'm on CNN Live. This is one area where CNN excels; their live feed is always better.
Wonder if they'll have one Friday night?
And also be comforted that CNN was dead last on Tuesday night's election ... so if viewers are leaving the TV perhaps they'll be leaving the site, too!
LadySam,
Done with positive results !
Thx
And so Palin rubs it in his face by listing practically all the Fox hosts for her interviews.
And giving the first one to Hannity. ;)
I don't much like Hannity and wish he wasn't first, but she's probably rewarding his constantly going after BO.
The site and the network are waste of time.
This is what passes for genius among the wizards of smart:http://realclearpolitics.blogs.time.com/2009/11/05/top-gop-strategists-candid-on-09-meaning/
McCain and Dole's strategists? Was this a Comedy Central Joke? Those are the two worse campaigns run by Republicans in my life. It is like Beckel acting like an expert on the Dem side when he worked for Mondale.
Live Stream Link for the health care rally in DC.

Now Caddell who was McGovern's wunderkind pollster has gained some wisdom over the years, but Beckel, how many states did Mondale lose again
Books-A-Million to Host Sarah Palin in Birmingham, AL and Jacksonville, FL
http://www.reuters.com/article/pressRelease/idUS204646+05-Nov-2009+BW20091105
Going Rogue has been #1 at Books A Million in non-fiction since day 1
You'll notice that Politico made it sound like 9 TEA Partiers were arrested, when it was in fact, pro-0bama care people who invaded Lieberman's office. They were probably ACORNers
GAHanson,
Agree Techno. Look at Mark Sanford. Everybody thought he was great. There is plenty of time before the primaries.
Yep, I'm an activist. I think it is the "Inactivists" that got the GOP a bad name. The "go along to get along kind"
Nope, I am a Pro-Activist when it comes to saving this country and proud of it!!!
I guess they can update the thread of where Palin is going with Jacksonville and Birmingham.
hrh..
you're right about cnn live feeds. I should have checked that one first...am watching it now.
Here's hoping that they'll have a live feed friday night.
Besides, she is going to blue states. She will be in Michigan, Pennsylvania, New York. I am sure she will have other stops too. I just hope she stops in Denver or Colorado Springs.
We only know that Hannity was announced first. It could be that she is still negotiating with the others. I can't imagine her coming in to Fox Studios and not making the rounds. I am sure they are trying to figure out how to format it for TV. Whether she will be live in studio or pre-taped interviews. I would like to see O'Reilly live and Beck Live. I want her to sit in Beck's chair next to his red phone! I would love to see her pick it up and try to call the WH, lol. Hannity and Greta could be pre-taped.
OT..
Going back to the health care ralley today....did anyone catch Mark Levin?
It was classic!
Levin, looking down on the media....
"Are you guys getting all this down?..some great stuff here"
He had the crowd going...it was "great stuff".
They had John Boehner speak after Levin....geeezzz,
As one commenter posted.....
"it was like having Joe Lieberman speak after Sarah Palin"....;-)
About 10,00 people there according to Politico
Is that 1000 or 10,000?
I think Caddell was Carter's man so at least he knows how to win.
"Chief Strategists" for John McCain and Bob Dole offering political advice?
Where o' where do we even begin with that one? Almost as nauseating....I said almost... as listening to Bob Schrum and Mike Murphy tell us how to win elections.
One more thing...
Here's Mark Levin at the health care rally today...ENJOY..:-)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HyI_6DuPJVI
Caddelll has been fortunate enough to be paired up with Coulter on numerous FoxNews TV appearances. Her intelligence and sharp wit regarding the libs must have rubbed off on him. Its called the "Coulter ju ju."
"About 10,000 people there according to Politico"
Translation: 25-50K.
terri,
Thank you so much for that link! Mark Levin is one of a kind! That was fantastic!
O/T, Everybody go check out AoS today, they're having great fun at the Deadbeat Douchenozzle Who Shall Not Be Named's expense. Two threads, here and here. Strong language warning as always with AoS.

WTF did Harpers n Collins release the schedule piece meal? Why couldn't they confirm all their stops and then release one single list?
Wisetrog - It appears Harper Collin's hasn't released anything yet. These are places that once confirmed let the local media know. Wish I could set up a refreshment stand outside of these places. We need TS to be at these places organizing for help and info if Sarah makes the big move later.i
I couldn't even imagine going to a ralley with BOTH Levin and Palin.
Talk about a frenzy!!
Oh I think Harper Collins is still getting a lock on some places. My guess is when all are confirmed then HC and possibly Sarah's Facebook will have the schedule.
Yes, thanks all. I know the perceptions of Palin from the left are uninformed and based on hatred so I don't hold out hope for those people to change. My wish is that the moderate folks don't see her as taboo, because I am afraid all too many of them do.
Well I guess NONE of us will be catching any rays in Florida this February.....
http://www.ksallink.com/?cmd=displaystory&story_id=11106&format=html
They just need a bigger venue, than whichever auditorium they were going to use.
Terri:
Thanks! That was delicious. I love me some Levin.
It should be an interesting "How was your day dear?" at Obama family dinner tonight.
Something that has gone under the radar, wasn't Sarah suppose to speak tommorrow in Wisconsin? No real word on that. Was it a fraud?
Mondale lost 56 states using Obamamath.
As far as I know, that's still on. No word to the contrary, but no official confirmation yet.
http://www.wrtl.org/palin/index.aspx
In other news, the crowd expected at the 1st Annual Florida King Crab Leg Rotary Club Dinner hosted by Joe Biden across the street from the Palin event will be 7 people.
Where have you been today Whit. The sarc sisters have been quite today. I am just surprised there has not been more coverage.
I saw that. Ha it is only comedy right? What is his crew getting excited about. Of course by the response it appears there was some truth. My guess is it is all true. Wonder if NBC late nighters are trying to land Sarah and realize they better start cleaning up some damage.
Actually you will. Sarah is speaking at the Daytone Chamber of Commerce on 15 Feb. 14 Feb is Daytona 500. Coincidence?
CNN's website has become the Palin Derangement Syndrome Support Group location of choice. Since there are sometimes hundreds of anti-Palin comments posted within minutes of an article going up, I suspect that a lot of those are originating from within CNN. The site is moderated, so they are obviously posting 99 percent negative stuff. I quit watching CNN last year during the election.
I'm surprised there hasn't been more coverage either. I guess we will see tomorrow!
I don't know where the sarc sisters have been. I've been a little busier at work today so I've haven't been commenting as much as usual. I think I may be able to bring at least two of the girls into some sarcastic discussion ....... the Cubs stink!
So Pec, what are you saying? Think they'll change the venue to something bigger? hmmmmm
Now Whit.....
Talkin' about my cubbies like that...them's fightin' words!...urgh
OT.....More from Sarah's speech in Florida this February..
"Lauver said all 1,408 dinner seats have been spoken for, and workers are trying to determine how many gallery seats will be available for the Feb. 5 annual meeting. Once that has been determined — which he hopes will be later Thursday — and once workers have determined actually how many requests have been made, he will know whether further ticket requests can be accepted.
Lauver said a record number of ticket requests already has been received.
The previous record, he said, was about 1,500.
“We are at more than double that right now,” he said."
Guys,
News flash....
Shooting inside the base in Fort Hood...7 dead and 12 injured reported so far.
This is one of the stops for Sarah's book signing.
Another good candidate for Sarah to endorse:
http://www.joetegerdine.com/
We need to make a list and help Sarah know about these people.
ALert Alerrt Alert. Shooting at Fort Hood Texas. At least 7 dead 12 wounded. Keep everybody there in your Prayers. I was stationed there 3 1/2 years.
Haven't seen Hood was I thought it was Bragg.
Yes, they are aided and abedded by CNN on-air personalities, such as Jack Cafferty, who is positively vile toward her, which encourages commenters to post like-wise.
And of course Begala, who calls her half a whack job and Carville who says the Wasilla Town Hall looks like a bait shop. That encourages similar comments.
I've noticed if a web report is pretty fair, the comments are not whacked out. But if the article leads readers to mock, they will ...
I think most, if not all, of BOR's segments are taped. I don't think any of his show is live, except possibly the sign-off.
I how I wish one of 'em had been me. Sigh. Looks and sounds like they had a blast!! :)
It's called string out the drama, wisetrog.
Aren't you reading how people are on the edge of their seats waiting to see if she's coming anywhere near them?
I think it's brilliant.
Except, of course, so far she's not coming anywhere near me ... :(
When is CPAC? I think she's too big for CPAC. And I hope she doesn't go anywhere near Keene...
This Chamber sked will totally bump CPAC off the news, I predict. But nobody's ever called me Nostradamus, so don't get too excited. ;)
Wow, prayers are definitely with them.
I checked and the Population of the entire County is only 50000. I remember looking at GOP12 earlier and they had that Huck excites and Sarah worries the GOP. I do agree with the worry part. GOP organizers worry they don't have enough seating for any event Sarah is at.
Bad English. Sarah is going to Bragg. Haven't heard that she is going to Hood.
It has been advertised on our local radio quite a bit of late. I will be in line at 5:45pm sharp with my tickets in hand.
If she doesn't show up, I will be very, very disappointed.
I have a feeling we will reading a Facebook post about this later today.
we need a Facebook on Obamacare, it's like the worst thing ever.
Last year CPAC had 9,000 registrants. They moved it to a bigger venue across the street this year. Gov. Palin is one of the invited speakers, but as far as I know, no one has yet confirmed. Lisa DiPasquale has been the director (organizer) of CPAC for years and it really is a fabulous event. Lots of opportunity to address very young conservatives as the college contingent is quite large. Keene himself is an invited speaker this year (and here's hoping he can't make it).
pec,
I apologize, you are right. Sarah will be at Fort Bragg, not Fort Hood.
In my nervousness I got confused. :-(
Hey - Bill. I found ya.
I quit using C4P comments because of their ridiculous use of this Echo comment mess.
Have there been any talk recently about caning it for a professional system?
Sorry, you left NEO.
No, there's no talk of moving away to a new system. Every so often there are
comments with people sighing and stuff, but that's it.
I've carved out my niche here so I stuck with it.
I have a system for following comments that works pretty well, but it
requires a bit of overhead (and works best with two monitors).
Basically I record the last comment I read (time and page), then I can come
back and quickly come up to speed.
So I have a google document (spreadsheet) open with a column for each open
thread and I keep track that way. Since it's on the web, when I get home I
pick up right where I left off.
Plus I open a regular window and then copy in the comments URL so I am
dealing with a reqular window and not a "scaled down" one.
It is a lot of overhead, but I can use it efficiently and without scrolling
through comments all day long - I can (pretty much) go straight to where I
left off and then pick it up fro mthere.
You guys,
You all know that I have 2 sons in the military.
I just have to say that I am so dissapointed in the coverage of this terrible shooting today. I initially heard this on the talk radio station that I was listening to.
This could have happened at any of the army posts, and initially I was shocked and VERY nervous.
I went literally running to my tv set and turned on abc, then nbc and then cbs...and found nothing.
What were they showing?.... judge judy, soap operas and Ellen.
I of course then went to FOX news and they were on the air non stop with all and any information they had. I was very thankful. Of course CNN and MSNBC also were airing info non stop. (I had to give them some kudos).
I'm much more relieved but very saddened for the involved soldiers and their families.
I then was anticipating what Obama would have to say. I thought please speak from the heart, don't use the teleprompter or notes.
When Obama spoke I became outraged. It took him 5 minutes to even reach the subject.
He of course had to thank all the people attending the particular conference first. He had to kind of "joke around" first. Then he finally came around to speaking about this tragedy.
He had to speak from notes....FROM NOTES!
Why can't he just say what he really feels, why can't he just speak from the heart?
I feel that Sarah would just about be in tears speaking about this if she was CIC.
Of course, we're finding out that the "shooter" has a muslim name and just recently converted to muslim. I'll be real curious to see if Obama speaks about this tragedy again.
Lisa DePasquale seems like a great gal, but a) I wish Keene would be pushed out and 2) I wish Romney didn't work things the way he seems to be ... But I may be misinformed.
Apparently there are a lot more book tour stops that haven't been announced yet. According to this article, the publisher says there are 25 stops.
I have only counted 12 so far.
"Palin's book tour includes 25-stops, in smaller cities where her publisher says Palin knows she has fans."
http://www.indianasnewscenter.com/news/local/69282317.html
What an utterly convoluted mess you have! What's so sad is it doesn't need to be this way.
What an unnecessary fiasco. It SURE is NO way to treat customers.
Oh - Well. There are 99 other places to get Sarah news - Thankfully.
If he does, he will leave out the Muslim reference.
Just as the soldier who was killed outside the recruiting center earlier this year by a Muslim convert was very underplayed. BO ignored it for days and then only released a statement to the family and local media.
I see he jumped out today and referred himself as the commander in chief. That actually almost made me cry, because I do not feel safe with him in that role ... :(
Terri--
bad day for all those with family in the military!! Bad day for America--I was watching Obama speak too and he did not even seem concerned about what's happening. He was even laughing and making a special "shout out" to one of his buddies in the crowd. This is our leader? SAD, SAD, SAD all the way around!

I tried to be objective about Obama's response to this. Then I read his remarks online and just saw a excerpt on TV. No emotion whatsoever. I understand that he had a press conference schedule already, and he spoke briefly about that topic BEFORE speaking on the shooting. This event should have taken precedence over his press conference. However, as always, the military is secondary.
I commented on this earlier, but I anticipate that we will read a note from the commandress-in-chief at some point today.
Everyone wishes Keene would be pushed out! But Lisa is indeed a great person and a legit conservative.
Here's the deal, hrh. Romney nearly always speaks at CPAC, and hence his supporters show up in force to hear him. If Gov. Palin announced that she were speaking there, HER supporters would be there in force. The straw poll is merely a reflection of who is speaking; if a politician is not there to speak, that politician's supporters would not be there in the same numbers as those of a confirmed speaker. The only "working" Mittens does is to show up every year.
Could somebody post the heading and link at GOP12 in one of the comment sections. I would but the guy banned me from posting there. Called him a sexist pig one to many times."Palin's Popularity Challenges Seating CapacityChamber asks for a pause in ticket requests"

"Palin's Popularity Challenges Seating CapacityChamber asks for a pause in ticket requests"
Not only that. He actually made some asinine remarks about giving a shoutout or something and only then cursorily referred to this massacre
man who worked with Hassan now talking on foxnews
Why are they picking on the small city thing? God, won't they rest until they destroy this woman. They keep pecking at every small thing.
man who worked with Hassan said that Hassan said that the Muslims have the right to "rise up" aganist their "aggressors"
specifically thier "aggressors" in Iraq & Afghanistan
Hassan's cousin was just on, he said that his cousin did this because of fear of going to war, but before that he said that he didn't know that his cousin was going to war...huh?
cousin said killer was a good american, wtf? also said he dreaded going to the firing range?
I guess the killer had a huge surprise on the other side when he saw his 70 virgins on the other side...this is so demonic....God give peace and hope and help to the families of the murdered and to the family of the killer.......
Her book signing at The Villages in Florida is where she drew 60,000 people during the campaign. It has a Barnes and Nobels but it will still hold 60,000 hmmm......
