LORD, HELP US ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Doug Brady, November 25, 2009 8:26 PM

That chart is unbelievable. I knew Obama had contempt for the private sector but I had no idea it was this bad.

Recovering Democrat, November 25, 2009 8:31 PM

Obama has contempt for almost everything that makes this country great:

Capitalism
Hard work
Strong defense
One person one vote
Freedom of speech
Christianity

Ted Torgerson, November 25, 2009 8:41 PM

Well he's running a car company now so he's getting experience.

Obama and his administration: Jack of no trades, Master of All

panchita, November 25, 2009 8:53 PM

the 2010 campaign ads are writing themselves.

Nancy, November 25, 2009 8:56 PM

Hugo Chavez will be so proud when he sees that chart.

Nancy, November 25, 2009 8:57 PM

If ever there was a time when Communist would look good on a resume, it is now.

Nancy, November 25, 2009 9:01 PM

Trying to get a job in the Obama adminstration:

Obama adminstration loon: Oh, I see here on your resume, Mr. Smith that you have experience in the private sector.
Mr. Smith to loon: Well, yes, as a matter of....
Obama loon: Thankyou, Thank you very much. Next!

I think I'm the only one on this thread.

So, Nancy, that chart is crazy! Don't you think?

Nancy, November 25, 2009 9:04 PM

The Obama administration does seem to be lacking in areas.

Nancy, November 25, 2009 9:06 PM

What an insightful comment, Nancy!:)

Robert_Paulson, November 25, 2009 9:06 PM

O/T:

Looking at the remaining book tour stops, here are the ones I think will produce ancillary news.

--Tempe, AZ: obviously, there's going to be some sort of McCain re-election endorsement, possibly with video of Palin signing McCain's book.

-- Springfield, MO: a gut hunch says we could get a notable crowd size here.

-- Fairfax, VA: the media will be crowd watching to see what famous Republican DC politicos show up (and who doesn't)

-- Sioux City, IA: more crowd watching w/r/t which IA conservatives and GOP activists show up; also, watch to see how much local media she does here, such as a sit down with Des Moines Register reporters.

-- Salt Lake City, UT: should be a big turnout, also, it's Romney country so it'll be interesting to see how local opinion compares Palin w/ "Mittens"

-- Sandy, ID: should be an emotional scene, with it being a home coming of sorts as well as the end of the tour.

Palin, Bachmann to headline Tea Party convention

(CNN) – Sarah Palin will be the main attraction at what's being billed as the "First National Tea Party Convention."
Tea Party Nation announced Wednesday that last year's Republican vice presidential candidate will serve as keynote speaker for the conference, scheduled to take place in Nashville, Tennessee February 4-6. A representative for Palin has confirmed the former Alaska governor's speaking role at the gathering.

And he wisely ignores Nancy having a conversation with herself.

O'JoyBarf...is a Jealous Hag!

OldDude, November 25, 2009 9:41 PM

Nice pictures that CNN chose to use, dontcha' think? Incredible but then again, if you read any of the comments, you know they are playing to their base.

narciso, November 25, 2009 9:48 PM

You know I would usually pull out my own appendix than watch Joy Behar, but I broke down an saw the segment with Lis Klein, and she batted down all of Joy's insinuations, about the cost for her services, (it was a last minute thing)about why they chose Neiman Marcus (it was close to the hotel), and whether the wardrobe was some kind of negative. As we see now, as if we didn't know before, it's almost impossible for her not to look at ease in whatever she is wearing

OldDude, November 25, 2009 9:50 PM

Behar is such a puke...I'm sorry I watched that clip. Lisa Kline did a good job of not agreeing with Behar's leading questions and did a solid job of disagreeing with "Joy"s" erroneous conclusions.

Lakerfanalways, November 25, 2009 9:50 PM

Wow I gotta get my fanny to Tennessee. My two favorite women Michele Bachmann and Sarah Palin..that is my dream ticket right there

tim c, November 25, 2009 9:50 PM

Your right, a lot to think about.

Lakerfanalways, November 25, 2009 9:51 PM

Joy Behar is a jealous old hag. She is jealous that Sarah is beautiful and successful while Joy sits at CNN on a tv show no one watches

Nancy, November 25, 2009 9:56 PM

Hey Mia!
Did you know that I want to be just like you, when I grow up?:)

Did you read the bottom of page 8 and the first sentence of page 9? Governor Palin is Master of the Obvious!:) Woo-hoo!:)

TexMex, November 25, 2009 9:57 PM

Pfff....bureaucRATS!

Nancy, November 25, 2009 10:02 PM

Is this the chart out already on where Obama stands in the ranking of Presidents?

ChillinInMN, November 25, 2009 10:05 PM

Looks like the stylist is annoyed. Like, gee thanks for asking me on & telling me I sucked at my job.

Behar is a putz.

juju, November 25, 2009 10:10 PM

It's rather expensive to attend that convention over $500 per person.

juju, November 25, 2009 10:11 PM

Hey Nancy nice to see you. Have you told production to make more depends that there will be a very large order before Christmas?

juju, November 25, 2009 10:13 PM

The cost of clothes for Palin and her entire family probably didn't cost as much as that dress that was hand made in India cost for the first lady.

narciso, November 25, 2009 10:14 PM

Apparently incompetence knows no bounds, some unknown couple made it past the secret service for the dinner last night

Over two hundred years ago, a group of settlers fleeing religious persecution decided to set a new course for human history in a new frontier. Those early pioneers chose a rocky shoreline to establish their way of life. Centuries later, America continues to set the example of what can come from a free and hardworking people. We truly remain the shining city upon a hill that the colonial leader John Winthrop implored us to be.

What started as a small colony in the territory that would eventually become the Commonwealth of Massachusetts has progressed into the greatest and most prosperous nation in history. Americans remain the freest people on earth because of our cherished Constitution and the system of government it establishes.

We have so much to be thankful for. We should recognize especially the sacrifices made on our behalf by those in uniform. Thousands of Americans will be spending Thanksgiving overseas in combat zones in order to protect our liberty and way of life. We should give thanks to those who willingly put their lives on the line for the rest of us. Where would we be without them?

We are also thankful for what God has granted us. We are truly blessed in America with rich natural resources, plentiful energy sources, fertile land, beautiful cities, and the talented and industrious people we call “our fellow Americans.” We pray that God will continue to bless us.

In his farewell address to the nation, President Reagan reminded us that “all great change in America begins at the dinner table.” Thanksgiving is an opportunity to discuss where we are as a nation at this moment in our history and where we should be heading in order to remain prosperous and free. Take time to discuss these things with each other, and take time to teach the young people in your family about our nation’s history so that they may never forget all that we have to be proud of and thankful for.

Happy Thanksgiving!

- Sarah Palin

Let quantify this, Hillary was an attorney and first lady, Geithner a international bureaucrat, Gates, careerintelligence, Locke, a Mayor, Holder, need we ask, Duncan, the Peter Principle in educational management. Sebelius, oh it's a full disaster.

God Bless the Warriors who have kept us free...and God Bless Sarah for giving them the respect they have earned over many, many years.

Thanks to all the Vets, past, present, and future.

GAHanson, November 25, 2009 10:32 PM

Just saw Karl Rove on Greta, giving advice to Gov. Palin, such as, talk about current events in such a way that people find interesting, put forth ideas, blah blah blah. Oh, he then said selling books is a lot different than running for president, wow, who would have guessed that? Rove, like almost all those of his type, haven't bothered to listen to any of her interviews, read any of her op/eds, or really pay much attention at all.

Rove did say that he is reading Going Rogue and that it's a very good book, and he did comment on the huge crowds that are showing up for book signing events, he seemed really surprised, and a bit befuddled by the whole thing. He did predict that Going Rogue will outsell Bill Clinton's book. Just a note: Bill Clinton's book has sold approx 1.5 million copies since 2004, I suspect that Going Rogue will pass that by the middle of next week, if it hasn't already.

Nancy, November 25, 2009 11:14 PM

Mia,
I appreciate your friendship across the miles! Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family! God bless you!:)

Sapwolf, November 25, 2009 11:33 PM

This is a truly frightening graph.

Nobody in his administration has any idea about the connection between liberty and economic prosperity.

We really need to fight Obamacare to the bitter end and kill it.

Sapwolf, November 25, 2009 11:33 PM

I wish Sarah would post a Facebook note about this. It is THAT BIG a thing for Americans to be warned about.

narciso, November 25, 2009 11:41 PM

When people like Rove, who should know better say that, I get the twitch, like Tom the Cat, come on Karl, she's a prolife Christian, the mother of an Iraq vet, a small business woman, a capable executive,

What do you think of this supposed detail from the Villages book signing:

OldDude,

Someone else on this site (I can't remember who) showed us this video. Yours and Sarah's wonderful comments just reminded me of it.

I think of my own 2 "warriors" when I watch it.

narciso,

I think this "detail", is something we all already know. ;-)

TexMex, November 26, 2009 12:23 AM

I'd really like to know why it is that Rove thought George W. Bush was all set to run for the WH back in 2000, yet he still thinks Palin isn't up to par for a 2012 run? I voted for Bush. Supported him through the thickest of times during the war and felt he had a true connection with our troops, but there was always that nagging thing that kept me from thinking that GWB truly got average Americans. I don't think anyone is asking for Palin to be crowned the savior of the GOP. Far from it. What I'm screaming is that she be given a chance to throw her hat in the ring just like anyone else. She's NOT a savior. She's a fighter and that's super refreshing to me. If she can sell America like she sells Alaska then our standing in the world, despite whatever Pres. Obama claims, will rise. I just wish someone would challenge Rove and ask him why he thought Bush was all set to run in 2000 yet Palin isn't set for 2012 when she has much more executive experience than GWB ever had (I will still defend him with the highest passion re: Nat'l Defense)

bpk1300, November 26, 2009 12:30 AM

Obama has contempt for all things American. He is an African Colonist. He also is a malignant narcissist who is in need of a massive personal salvation.

http://www.americanthinker.com/2009/06/obama_the_african_colonial.html

narciso, November 26, 2009 12:31 AM

Well you're right, that is for the largest reason that we are here, after all, we see most other candidates as woefully inadequate, it's just it's the first time that this option has been acknowledged by her. That it happened at the Villages the place redolent with the hope we thought last year, that we could dodge the prospect of the Obama juggernaut, punctuates the point. On another blog, they linked the Bush in Iraq picture from 2003, one has almost
forgotten what lengths a supporter of the troops would go to. And you could easily see her in that same role

bpk1300, November 26, 2009 12:33 AM

ditto to that.....I cannot watch the view or anything with the joyhead on it

bpk1300, November 26, 2009 12:37 AM

Happy Thanksgiving to all my American friends!!! God Bless

TSM Admin, November 26, 2009 12:49 AM

I was at the B&N on Colonial in Orlando. (Not in line unfortunately, just one of the extended crowd.) About 6pm we had heard she was running late and would be close to 8pm when she got there, 7:30pm was scheduled start time. Actually showed up about 7:20pm, so we were caught off guard. I did hear people in rear of store chant something for less than a minute, it wasn't the usual "Sarah, Sarah", could have been "President Palin", I'm just not sure. Bus did park at the rear entrance to store. I believe this was because it had rained there for about 45 minutes and had quit just before bus arrived. There had been a yellow tape area near front of store that was big enough for the bus, they took tape down shortly she arrived. So, she did not make any general comments to crowd, just went straight inside. As I mentioned already, it had rained beforehand and had also been dark for nearly 2 hours at that time. There had been no stage of any kind setup outside either.
