R S McCain has an Andrew Sullivan Brainwave...

We do attempt to maintain a certain level of decorum on this blog so, although we all have a number of really helpful suggestions as to what Andrew Sullivan can do with himself, we tend to keep them private.....after all if I am unfortunate enough to be walking towards my front door and find myself with something unpleasant stuck to the sole of my shoe I would reach for the disinfectant rather than my keyboard.

But Robert Stacy McCain does have an interesting idea for those who will be standing in line for Governor Palin’s book signings – why not kill two birds with one stone by carrying a sign that implicitly shows support for the Governor by suggesting something that could be done to Sullivan.

Let me tell you, Sully, I've got in-laws in Columbus, Ohio, who are hoping to go to Sarah's book event there Friday (6 p.m. at Borders), and if I have anything to do with it, they'll be waving a big sign for the cameras:
DEPORT ANDREW SULLIVAN!

By the way... My only concern would be that he would have to be deported back to his birthplace of South Godstone – a place only a few miles north of where I live. I frequently drive through there on the busy A22 and would find it a terrible bore to have to see him sitting by the roadside with his pile of gynaecology textbooks touting for trade as a freelance birth consultant.....
