I have a question: Has anyone been to a book tour signing before? How does it work? Do you have to pay for the signature or just the book? Also, are you limited to one thing or can you get two if someone can't make it?

The MSM wil try to spin huge crowds by saying the long lines show a lack of preparedness or organization by Sarah. I really think there will be ten thousand people at some of these signings. From my understanding, most of the second half of the book tour, the Western states portion, hasn't been announced yet.
We'll just have to keep our fingers crossed over here on the West Coast.
May I say first of all... This medium we call the Internet and C4P and all associated with It have provided Americans with what our forefathers so cherished and tried to protect at all cost... FREE SPEACH and the sharing of Ideas among the people!
All to vivid are our memories of what took place just a year ago... when with complicit and agenda based media, our beloved Governor from the great State Of Alaska... THE HONORABLE SARAH PALIN-having been chosen as VP candidate... was subjected to unmerciful lies and deception from an Ideologically based controlling media!
My point being!... if we had utilized then what we are utilizing today... the Internet!... and all the sites like C4P and hundreds of others, to CIRCUMVENT the oppressive forces against us... the fight would have at least been much fairer.
With that said!... My predictions!... #1 thru #9... have no clue.
My #10( Sarah's book tour!)... and I predict it will almost be a perpetual thing even though it may officially end... but will clearly and with resounding effectiveness prove her RESIGNATION to be of such Strategic Importance it will be studied, analyzed and dissected for years to come.
A maneuver comparable to the very best of any military manual... that turned Americas Political establishment up side down--inside out!... and where else did she do the very same thing?... Alaska's Republican Party!

10. She will take my advice from a few weeks ago and make an announcement on Oprah that a portion of her book proceeds will be donated to military families; quite appropriate now in light of the Fort Hood Terrorist Attack.
Look at her map again. She's definitely in California, we just can't figure out where the little star is. Most of us think it looks like L.A., but others think it looks like Ventura. Either way, yes, she's coming to Southern California, so cheer up! :)

My prediction is that the overall response to her book tour will be as follows:
1. The mainstream media will comment that Sarah Palin has astounded pundits and media people with a maturity, confidence and depth of knowledge that many though she could never display.
2. Palin supporters will comment that they are not surprised by the maturity, confidence and depth of knowledge that she displays.
3. Old guard elitist Republicans, moderates and independents will admit that Sarah Palin has done herself well in the PR department and while they won't come to say that they see her as the savior of or the future of the GOP, they will admit that if she works hard and pulls it off that they will be more confident in her ability to lead now than when she was the VP candidate.
4. The liberals will move from a silly wash woman attack mode as demonstrated by the Alaska bloggers to a more serious approach toward opposing Palin. Her emergence as a "beefed up" Sarah will cause the liberal movement and the Democrat party to go to DefCon4 and start taking her very seriously. They will run ads against her, write op-eds and give statements in a more adult like way to appear that they are rebutting her political opinions. They will also continue to portray her as a right wing extremist who doesn't pull a big enough plurality to win on the national scene. In essence, they will continue to try to diminish her, but will cast aside the Tina Fey and Peggy Noonan caricatures of her as seeing Russia from her house and being Caribou Barbie. They will admit she is a danger to the progressive movement and will act against her more in the political arena than in the tabloids and through just the left wing media.

Nervous and curious McCain-Palin staffers have been buzzing for weeks with speculation about what Sarah Palin has chosen to include in “Going Rogue.”
Books have begun being shipped out in advance of the November 17th release date. Last week, some of Palin's associates received copies.
Based on discussions with various sources who have seen or been briefed on the book's contents, here's what you can expect from “Going Rogue”:
* just five chapters—but they are very, very long.
* some score settling with McCain aides she believes ill-served her (names will be named).
* a hearty bashing of the national media.
* an account of how her upbringing shaped her maverick sensibilities.
* a testimonial to the importance of faith in her life.
* a warm and personal tone, written in Palin's own voice, despite the involvement of a collaborator.
Two things not in the book:
* Don't look for hefty policy prescriptions.
* Once source who has seen “Going Rogue” says it does not include an index. That would give Palin a subtle revenge on the party's Washington establishment, whose members tend to flip to the back pages and scan for their own names. If they want to know what Sarah Palin has to say about them, they will have to buy the book—and read the whole thing.
