Fairfax Open Thread (Updated)
A new thread just because the last one got pretty big and I'll probably still be sleeping by the time the event starts.
It appears that Allen Iverson will not be retiring after all.
In case you haven't heard, Governor Palin is the first person to make Barbara Walters' 10 Most Fascinating People list in back-to-back years (unless President Obama is the last addition). The special will air on December 9th.
I know that a lot of C4P folks are attending the Fairfax book event. Drop a comment if you plan on attending or are braving the elements and in line right now. This clip is pretty funny because Greta didn't know that BJs is a warehouse retail store.
I'll predict a Florida victory tomorrow as well.

Ha, first to pollute the thread! :)
The Barbara Walters special, are they just going to show her old interview or will this be a new interview that we have not seen
Since the thread is open I'm gonna go hog wild and put up a video or 2 of Sarah that I think those here will like or may have already seen so here goes... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cc35H5D0TTU
How about that shot Lakers.
I feel like they are trying to trivialize Palin by lumping her in with train wrecks such as Kate Gosslin and Adam Lambert for that most fascinating people show.
I did a search on that link and lo and behold, in the last 10 hours, they're spreading the "Sarah in Hawaii as a teenager having problems with minorities" thing around like wildfire.
...and another. Please tell me to stop if this annoys you all. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lbFWN2ZPMzY
Do a Google search on this:
"They were a minority type thing and it wasn’t glamorous, so she came home"
She's in the company of Brett Farve so I doubt that ellen.
I don't believe Chuck Heath ever said that. He's not stupid.
Folks the media and trolls are desperate to discredit her and without any facts to back it up besides a book written by 2 opportunists it goes nowhere.
All she has to do it point out the fact that her husband is an Alaskan Native and that "big scandal" comes to a screeching halt.
I dont believe it either.
Glenn Beck will be there.
This is truly Amazing, with all those Hollow-Wood heavy hitter's all Tinsel, Sparkel, and Smile.
Little Sarah true heart Palin, from Alaska. The First Person to Win Most Fascinating People list in back-to-back years.
Simply Amazing..No SIMPLY AMAZING SARAH!
sarah 2012
Bug-off.
TRoll
Since you feel that way Indemind you may like this video of her. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yij4uAzo_K0
Kobe is freakin INSANE!! that shot was just WOW..well, tha is typical Kobe Bryant, that is why he is the best player on the planet
Glenn Beck is nuts.
Yeah I dont buy that BS..Chuck Heath would NEVER have said that..NEVER..total pure BS
Who's the troll, me?
Maybe it was pre-taped.
I think someone quoted Chuck Heath saying that. I read it awhile back and thought it was a strange statement. It's just strange that they're bringing that up now.
The troll is Mary Beth.
I don't think so either but this is what they're hammering about on the left right now so we need to be aware at the very least.
So far, my response as one of the few Palin supporters on that forum is that I don't have any idea what the original quote from Mr. Heath was so I can't respond to what he may or might not have said...whether it was an accurate quote or taken out of context or made up wholecloth, like a lot of other "scandals" involving Palin. I can only say that it does not ring true to me...that I've watched Palin and I've not seen nor heard anything that might support the notion she's racist.
But it'd be nice to have a response either from Palin or from a spokesperson about this. The most recent quote that I posted above is spreading around the lefty internet like wildfire and it looks to be they're trying to astroturf it to the Nth degree.
That's why I think we should see if there's any kind of response or at least be ready with an answer. I hope mine was sufficient. lol
Trying to rattle cages here? A waste of time if that's the intention.
Who me? :S I'm not a troll.
I doubt quote is true because it would've been a big deal when it was first written which was months ago, but we didn't hear anything....until now??
What did he say tonight?
Perhaps it was a satire that was written when I first read it.
No that doesn't work. I used that and the response was "having a part eskimo husband doesn't disqualify her from being a racist".
My response to that was essentially that whatever I said would be disregarded because I'm a conservative and a Palin supporter... ergo, I MUST BE A RACIST TOO!!! Because of course, we're all guilty until proven innocent...which we can't do because WE'RE GUILTY!!!!
:P
I don't remember the exact quote, but I remembered reading "minority types" and thought wow. I had forgotten about it until now. Thinking back, I highly doubt Chuck Heath would say such a thing. I think it may be some satire that was written.
BTW... I have to say how completely bummed I am right now. I used to LIVE in the DC area. I grew up there. And here she is in Fairfax???? GAH!!!
Sorry Jean...but I'm not a troll and I really would like you to retract your statement please.
Look everyone, the troll bloggers and media will keep this up no matter what so ease up some. If Sarah has to continuously respond to these idiots lies and distortions she will probobly be miserable not to mention it not looking very presidential.
Right. That's my point. I'm letting my fellow Barbarians know that this looks like this will be their next salvo. When I did a search for that phrase, all that came up were a bunch of lefty sites and most of them were posted within the last day or so.
But good gravy...I'm a semi-regular poster here. I've been inducted as a Barbarian Babe. I am not now nor have I ever been a troll. :S
Mary Beth has been around for quite some time, no troll.
When I read the quote you put up, if Chuck really did say that, it was probably a way of saying that Sarah felt like she was in the minority, being from Alaska and all. That was my take on it. Progressives love to dismiss context.
Mary Beth ...RELAX, That's Not Sarah.
sarah 2012
this is a Sarah Palin dream come true!!!!
I happened apon a bigfoot website. Awesome.
http://www.bfro.net/
What we need next is a website where Sarah is spotted.
That's a good point.
I guess my reaction was kind of kneejerk when I saw what they were spreading about her. My hackles went up, so to speak.
She's in Fairfax VA for the book signing right? That's what I was saying. I used to live near there. I spent the first half of my life in the DC area. Fairfax was a hop, skip and a jump away from me via the Beltway.
So to think...here I am now in Tennessee where she's not going to be anywhere near. Now for the first time in awhile, I wish I hadn't moved away from McClean. Sigh.
The crap throwers on the blogs will sling **it at her until their arms fall off and Sarah deftly dodges every time. Have some faith in her please, this lady is smart and knows what she's doing, look how she cut out the media to get her message out with FB and none other has done this before.
Thank you for stickin' up for me. :)
That's my gut too. Either it was out of context or made up. But they are going on about it like it's THE thing that will take her out. Like the non-existent birther thing. Or the resigning thing. Or the clothes thing. Or the...etc.etc.etc.
You know, it's amazing how much time they spend trying to destroy someone who's "insignificant" to them...who "Obama would kill in a landslide defeat" and so forth.
Just imagine how they'd treat her if they saw her as a threat! :P
Your trying to reason with people that hate her no matter what you say Mary Beth so it's futile effort, noble but futile.
My faith in her is solid. I remember last year, how jumpy I was back then...really scared that one of those stories was true. And then I saw them all dissolve and I realized that it's all crap.
So my response here is not that I'm panicking or don't believe she's the right person for the job. It's that I know when this crap comes out, it's better on us as her defenders if we have an answer ready to rebut their nonsense. And usually I do...but this time, I don't have a hard fact. Only what I know to be true about who she is as a person. So I was hoping someone here was familiar with this quote or non-quote...and knew the story behind it so I could "fight back" with more than just my personal understanding of Palin.
Hey everyone couldn't sleep has anybody gotten to the bottom of the current "scandal" yet?
No problem.
I know. It's fascinating. They are like teethless piranhas, who are so caught up in their feeding frenzy that they have forgotten that they have no teeth and therefore aren't going to get anything out of it.
Meanwhile the Guv is enjoying her book tour :)
I guess nobody here has a copy of Sarah from Alaska on hand?
I was thinking just now and it and I have a theory could the left just be making this up just to get us panicking? you know for s**** and giggles?
Look, what is claimed in the Conroy/Walshe book is actually not a direct quote from anyone. It is an inference based on the alleged quote from Heath.
I missed it too when I first read the book.
I thought of that too...but I figured there had to at least be a quote from those reporters in that book that they're using for the basis. Whether or not Mr. Heath said anything on this to begin with is another story. Maybe they made it up and this guy is quoting them. Who knows? I don't have the book so I have no way of checking even if the reporters were quoted correctly.
And if their intent is to make us panic, well I'm well past panicking about any of these "scandals". I just like having a good response to these hack libs and I get antsy when I see them lining up an attack. Not because I think anything will come of it... but because I like smacking them down. lol
I don't like injustice, DefCon. When I see someone I admire being smeared, I just have a hard time standing by and doing nothing.
Besides...it's fun smacking them down. If I knew the context of Mr. Heath's quote, if he did indeed say anything on this topic in the first place, I'd not walk, but DANCE over to that forum and post it. And rub their faces in it.
But seeing them gloat? Or show "concern" about something so "troubling"? It makes me want to gag.
I knew I couldn't trust Conroy and Walshe!, I knew they were bad news when I heard that they were stalking Piper at the bus stop, the thought of them makes me angry if I ever met them I would have some words to say to them words that will not be said here of course
It's quite possible, they seem to excel at making up what they cant find or distort Patrick.
Who is inferring here exactly? the ppl over at TNR or Conroy and Walshe?
forgive me for being ignorant I have not read the book Tommy Report
I knew I couldn't trust Conroy and Walshe!, I knew they were bad news when I heard that they were stalking Piper at the bus stop, the thought of them makes me angry if I ever met them I would have some words to say to them words that will not be said here of course
Mary Beth that is where I am coming from, I am well past panicking and I agree TNR needs to have a major smackdown on this one Conroy and Walshe as well maybe
I like smacking them down too Mary Beth, too much in fact for I was troll hunting on Sarah's FB page and I suppose was over zealous and now I cant post there. I found out later that the moderators wanted everyone to ignore them not go after them. My bad.
Well yesterday someone posted that after Sarah is elected pres she will be assassinated juju brought it to our attention and I actually told RAM about it because we all suspect why she is not here at C4P anymore
I would have more than just words with them, I despise slanderous cowards.
I used to engage them...but now I just go to their FB profile and add them to my Ignore list.
It made the Palin thread so much more enjoyable! :D
but that was serious, juju said the FBI should be contacted about it andI don't mean to sound prejudiced or anything but the man who posted that vile comment had an arabic sounding name
We can't take chances on crap like that, not after Major Hasan
I haven't either. From what I understand of this "scandal"...TNR is posting about something from an article from the New Yorker that discusses not only Going Rogue but also this Sarah from Alaska book.
Since I don't have the book, I did a Google search to see what that phrase turned up...and all I came up with for the most part is the astroturfing of this TNR thing throughout the leftosphere.
At any rate, the New Yorker, which TNR is quoting, says it's quoting the Sarah from Alaska book with that bit about something Mr. Heath said about Sarah from when she was a teenager. They provide no quote...they only say that Mr. Heath gave a different account as to why Sarah left Hawaii and put what he supposedly told them.
I guess its just more dishonest reporting from the LSM, it doesn't worry me at all but these people need to be put in their place
The inference is stated by Conroy and Walshe.
The statement at issue that Uber references is stated by Conroy and Walshe and then followed immediately by what is an alleged quote from Heath as if to provide support for the assertion made by Conroy and Walshe.
see:
juju
I just reported one of the comments on her Facebook...it is scary...I have never done this but I did on this one:
Sahba صهبا Yaghmasarah will be assassinated when she becomes president. im calling it now.3 minutes ago · Report
I also stated this should be reported to the FBI.
I see thanks for the info Tommy Report, this makes me mad I think I understand now why Walshe is now longer a producer at FOX, she was probably using false info in her reporting I bet you guys anything
Well I think it is time for me to go back 2 bed it is almost 3:30 in the morning where I am, thank God its Saturday, I can sleep in, can't wait until Sarah skewers Bawney Fwank, good night everybody
Walshe and Conroy were interns - unpaid volunteers. They financed this book out of their pockets so they had to sex it up to make a buck.
Jean,
Uber is not a troll.
I missed something, what is the deal with Sarah and that disgusting liar Barney Fwank?
http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2009/11/07/palin-will-headline-media-dinner/
Hey Kids..
I just finshed Mark Levin's Book.."Rescuing Sprite"...
I know 2 books in a month...I must have a brain tumor or something!
I tore through a box of kleenex...I blew my nose so hard it is bleeding! Now I am up fighting that!
I was reading it at work and had to stop... I could only finish it in privacy!
WOW... for animal lovers...it is a must read! It's been a pretty shitty year for me and many Americans...and this book put life back into some perspective. I highly recommend it!
I see, thanks for pointing that out to me Patty, the trolls are rampant there and nearly waded in on them. But I've gotten control of my temper somewhat now. I'm looking forward to Jan. of 2013 when Barry has to shake her hand at the White House steps as he moves out and she moves in so I can go to those same sites and gloat. Yes I'm petty but the trolls have it coming. lol
Politico has a surprisingly positive article on Palin - the anti-abortion star http://news.yahoo.com/s/politico/20091204/pl_politico/30174
The article says that everyone gets emotional when Trig meets someone when Down's.
good morning everyone! reading through the thread. Sarah's dad quoted (by those same authors that were stalking Piper) as Sarah leaving hawaii because of "minorities". The left will continue to paint her as a racist. Remember last year during a campaign rally. A reporter heard someone yell out a death threat to obama.the secret service investigated and no such evidence was ever found.
Regardless the left has continued to paint that incident as "Sarah inciting the right wing racists" The lies have been repeated so often over the past year that now its a holy truth to the left.
I'm sure someone in the near future will ask Sarah to comment on her dads statement (which I don't believe for a second coming from those stalkers)
Here is my take on "the Hawaiian college affair".
Remember back when you were 18 (I am not addressing elitists here), you are from wherever and you have haved lived under your parents' roof in a middle class lifestyle up to then. The vacations you have taken so far in your life, except for summer camp or school outings, have been conducted while your parents were present. Thus wherever they decided to travel to, you went along for the ride. if your parents did not travel to a place like Hawaii in your first 17 years on earth it probably meant you never got there either.
With this in mind Sarah Heath travels to Hawaii to go to school at age 18 and observes in person a different lifestyle than what she has been accustomed to throughout her life. I'm not saying she hasn't watched the movie Blue Hawaii with Elvis Presley or seen the Hawaii Five-O TV series but it is one thing to view a different lifestyle from afar and detached but it entirely a different kettle of fish to become immersed in it on a daily basis, to try to adapt to it and then respond to it. An expression that is apropos is a fish out of water. Psychologists call it culture shock. I might even suggest individual cognitive dissonance might arise in the sense of judging whether this particular lifestyle is best suited for one's education or well-being. And we are talking about somebody who is only 18 years old. I will ask the posters at C4P: Is this an abnormal or far-fetched situation? Could Sarah Heath have faced such a possibility by going to school in Hawaii? But does that make her a racist?
But's let's hypothetically assume the worst, that Sarah mentioned to her dad on returning home that she didn't take to the culture of Hawaii, including the attitudes of the island natives and the Asian minorities. Could part of that assessment be based on Sarah not fitting in herself to that culture rather than being superior or racist in outlook? Could she perhaps not have liked the laid-back lifestyle of the islanders and preferred the more dynamic enterprise of Alaskans and then ascribed her feelings on industry to the islanders? Could she perhaps have not like the food in Hawaii, the luaus, the leis etc?
To tell you the truth I don't like much about the East Indian culture-the lifestyle, customs, the rituals, the food etc. But I am NOT a racist. East Indian folks work as hard as anybody else and have every right to live like everybody else and enjoy their lifestyle, culture, customs and food like everyone else and I have every right not to participate in it; that is my choice. But of course if I were running for office my opponent would attempt to accuse me of insensitivity for not being more amenable and more inclusive to the above and might even claim I was intolerant and a racist.
And for Sarah Heath, who is probably running for office in the future, opponents might attempt to portray her experiences in Hawaii as an example of her intolerance or her being a racist while as I explained might have been simply a case of culture shock.
And even if Sarah did not particularly like the "Hawaii Island lifestyle" when she was 18 and perhaps felt her upbringing was superior to it, as a society do we brand somebody who exhibited superior overtones at 18 with the label of racist? Sarah is now 45. Is it possible that Sarah has grown as a person since she was 18? Is it possible that after she became an adult Sarah Heath (Palin) began to see life not so much in black and white anymore but in several shades of gray? Is it possible that Sarah Palin became more tolerant as the years have gone by because simply she knows more and understands life a lot better than when she was 18? At 45 is she more accommodating? Does [...]
The only problem with the new greater exposure of C4P is we seem to be aquiring a whole new crop of 'concern trolls' and the old ones are posting more often then they were for awhile.....
I highly recommend to new persons that they lurk and read for a longer period of time to get the feel of the place before they inadvertantly insert their foot in their mouth.....
Anyone that questions Lady Sarah's honesty, motives and strategy has NO PLACE HERE!
Ditto for anyone that thinks they know better than her how to handle her own life!

Interesting point. MANY people in Alaska vacation in Hawaii. A common topic of conversation on their return is how RACIST many Islanders are. A large number of them apparently hate 'howlies' (sp?) which is Island slang for white tourists.....
i understood the concern about the birther issue- and so did palin which is why she quickly responded on the point- but there is simply no way anything she might have said to her dad when she was 18 is going to held against her. most voters don't want to be judged by what they said or did when they were that age so they won't do it to others- that is why drug useat that age is even forgiven. that being said, as someone posted above, all i took from the alleged quote is that at 18 she felt lonely being a minority in a different culture millions miles away from her family and everything she knew. not exactly a crime.
I miss Toki and RAM bunches. Hope they're doing well.
Ditto
Predictions for the GRIDIRON.....
She is going to thank them for all tha free publicity, compliment them on their mastery of the art of fiction ("..... makin' things UP!") and burn them with her sincere large warm smile.....
Our Lady Sarah has a rapier-sharp wit and will wield it to telling and mortal effect.....
I expect her to have a whaleboat of fun..... ;-)
Here's a great line from Ostral B Heretic at the Ace of Spades blog:
"I'm less concerned that Obama is a Kenyan than I am that he is a Keynesian."
Furthur prediction.....
The uncommonly cold and snowy weather in the Southwest is GREAT material for a sarcastic 'Global Freezing' joke!
;-)
Techno: Sarah was in the minority. hawaiians term caucasians "haole" a somewhate pejorative term and they can be exclusionary. Just ask any california surfer who has tried to ride their waves.
Repost from earlier in the thread.....

Thank you for reinforcing my argument. At 18 unfortunately most of us don't have the proper perspective if we feel out of step or 'not with the program'. If Sarah faced the type of situation you have just depicted I expected she handled it no better or no worse than anybody else. It is what it is.
Calm down, the supporters of "typical white woman" Obama with his "Damn america" priest are only projecting and making things up.
eclectiak: you read my mind. i was just thinking about a global warming zinger too. They'll be a shout out to letterman and the perky one too.
A third hand quote (Sarah->Dad->friend, by my understanding) is hardly anything to get excited about. Certainly nothing that can stick in any way whatsoever, in a book or not. It's laugable.

Trig, the anti-abortion straw baby
http://www.salon.com/life/broadsheet/feature/2009/12/04/palin_trig_abortion/index.html
This theory is starting to be spread now, too, from Ben Smith at Politico.
You can tell that the entire range of Palin haters are feeling the heat, and Axelrod and co. are getting desparate, especially with 0bama's numbers in decline, and Climategate threatening to upset their redistribution apple cart.
From the guys at Hillbuzz:
BATTLE STATIONS: Get this Climategate story out there to as many people as possible
http://hillbuzz.org/2009/12/05/action-item-of-the-day-get-this-climtategate-story-out-there-to-as-many-people-as-possible/
If you folks don't need a reminder, the Obama war room brainstorms every day and I would guess at least 20 ideas get kicked around the table every day in regards how to take down Sarah Palin. Of course there is an ongoing probe into Sarah's life since she was 5 and you would think with the backing of billionaire George Soros and the millionaires and billionaires of the shadow party to pay investigators that they could have found something more damaging on Sarah in 15 months that she bought a tanning bed with her own money for the Governor's mansion.
I bet these folks have been pulling their hairs out for several months now. They really can't believe anybody, even a hockey mom, can be this clear and pure. Don't you think that with the money spent by the Far Left 'on the Sarah Palin investigation' that they could have uncovered the name of everyone of Tiger Woods' paramours by now?
Isn't it ironic from being reportedly in Sept 2008 the least vetted presidential/vice-presidential candidate in American history that Sarah Palin, if she runs in 2012, will become the most vetted presidential/vice-presidential candidate in American history?
So what they have left is Sarah Palin's political positions or accusing her of being a political extremist or religious wacko. This has always been on the table but IMHO Obama did not want to go that route because its chance of being successful with this political strategy is at best unpredictable. Taking Sarah out with evidence of personal indiscretion is a better way to go. But with Sarah 'being perfect' the former is what they are left with and that is why the perception abounds now that the Obama war room is flailing around now and that they are desperate to register a direct hit on Sarah. As she is now a private citizen and without a job to have to defend any longer it makes it more difficult to do even that.
Sorry for that remark but you kept hammering away.
I am sorry for my comment.
Again, I am so sorry.
The two also had no contact with Sarah. None at all.
DefCon66, Thanks for all the vids this a.m., I hadn't seen those before. However, this one is my all-time favorite! http://tinyurl.com/pc6rl8
I don't know whether Mr. Heath said the comment or not but even if he did it seems a little extreme to condemn a grown woman for the opinions of a college girl. I wonder how many minorities there were in Wasilla when Palin was growing up? For most teens college is a strange time with a lot of different people and when you go far outside your usual area it can be uncomfortable.
I went to college in the Midwest where I grew up. I recall there were students from the East coast who left after a semester or two because it was so different from what they grew up with. They thought the whole farm atmosphere and the people there were odd.
I believe it's "haolies," and I agree. I lived there for a while and couldn't wait to get back to the Mainland. Believe it or not.
I think I know where RAM went, but what happened to Toki?
"Haole!" I tried spelling it before and that "ie" ending didn't look right. At least one of our commenters can spell!
I live in Reston, VA which is about 20min from where Sarah Palin is doing her book signing today but it is just snowing. Should I brave it just to check out the crowd at least?
Speaking of the evil Soros proliferates, I take it you've read comments elsewhere that talk about how he's getting the "desired" folks in place as secretaries of state? He was recently credited with the quote: It's not how many votes you get, it's who counts the votes." And the secretary of each state certifies who gets elected. Michael Steele, anyone? Bueller? Bueller?
GO!
They are trying define Palin as an Anti-Abortion extremist when she has not focus on any social issues during her endorsement of candidates. Even her FB postings focus on economic and national security issues. I think Gov.Palin strategy to focus on the fiscal conservatism is working that's why the MSM is now trying to redefine her as an abortion leader.
Strong Dollar = Strong Economy
Both the wins in NJ and VA showed we can be successful by sticking to fiscal conservatism. This Big Government spedning has got to stop!
Both my husband's and my parents moved to Florida permanently. I was still in college and my trips home at Christmas had some affect on me. The warm weather induced a laziness that can only be described as spring fever. When coming back up North to go to school and getting into the studying mode was a bit difficult.
Tourists abound in Florida in the winter and what used to be a nice town to live and work became more bustling than most permanent residents thought comfortable. Parking lots were jammed and the same with streets and roads. There were traffic jams where none had previously exhisted for 9 months. Restaurants were constantly filled and shopping malls were very, very crowded. I can understand why the permanent population was not happy with all of the tourists. It's like being invaded.
If you do, drive carefully
The reporter made it up. It was not "heard." It was fabricated.
I believe he was referring to Sarah and her freinds feeling like minorities.
It's okay Jean. :) We're all looking out for Palin.
Just back from the Fairfax signing -- I'm afraid the store badly mismanaged things. They had us waiting in the cold and snow for hours with apparently no thought of letting us in, even though several of us suggested it, and even though I'm pretty sure there would have been room. And they rushed the signing itself at an unbelievable rate.
But morale was good and Sarah was very sweet to us!
Speaking of Trig, as we came out, a protester with a video camera asked us if "the retarded baby" had been there. My dad -- 22-year Army veteran -- turned around and threatened to take him down if he said it again. The punk mouthed off a little more, but you could see his eyes looking scared -- and he didn't use the word again! I'm so proud.
I hope that goof, whoever he was, kept the camera running and puts the footage online, so the world can see what an absolute pig he made of himself.
Also just back from Fairfax and it was cold, rainy and snowy, but Sarah was AWESOME. She saw my C4P shirt and told me she liked it! I told her that C4P sends their love and she said how much she appreciates us. She looked amazing(cute hat). BJ's did the best they could, Sarah's safety was #1, there were a few wackos in the parking lot and security was tight. One last thing, she really tries to make everyone feel special. Even though you have seconds with her, she finds a way to make it personal. Love her.
I like your dad, good for him.
I'm pretty fond of him myself! :-) Thanks!
Bah, too bad for the cruddy weather. I stayed in instead of going to the signing. I did have the good fortune of seeing her in Fairfax last year during the campaign.
Sarah's book, pg 42. She talks about her semester in Hawaii. "...too perfect." Tough on homework and she was homesick.
