Governor Palin Continues to be in the News

Even though her book tour has ended, Governor Palin continues to be in the news. Last night on FOX News, she was featured segments on The O'Reilly Factor and on Hannity's Great American Panel. O'Reilly and Hannity led discussions about her appearance on Conan and her future.

In clip one from O'Reilly, he replays her appearance on Conan and talks about the attempts by the left and mainstream media to marginalize her continuing to fail:

In a second clip from O'Reilly, he discusses her future with Juan Williams and Mary Katharine Ham:

Finally, here is the Great American Panel discussion on Hannity:

whup there it is!
Bob Beckle, #1 jerk on Fox. He can't belive all that he's says he must be paid to be the villian!

JeanA,  December 15, 2009 11:22 AM

Laura changed the increments again for the jacket

"The current high bid on this item is $36,700.00
Bids are in $200.00 increments. You must bid $36,900.00 or more "

Ernst,  December 15, 2009 11:22 AM

Bob Beckle and Juan Williams are both looking stupider and stupider everything I see them talking about Sarah Palin. Sarah Rocks!   And they must really dispise the fact that Obama is fallen hard and Sarah is shining brighter and brighter daily.  Such Joy she brings.

Kjanlady,  December 15, 2009 11:27 AM

Thanks for the videos......seeing the Conan show clips front and center will make Lipsticks day.

O'Reilly gets it....Beckel and Juan Williams....they are liberal....they are limited by the pea sized brains required to not only be a liberal but to keep trying to prop up their anointed one as his popularity built on pillars of sand are washed away but his egotistical and radical behavior.  Watch out Oblamo.....the Sarahcudda tsunami is coming for you....expect to be washed out of power and washed up

Mia,  December 15, 2009 11:28 AM

...hehehe... Reloading!...BAM!!!...Bag the Game!...hehehe...

Jamika,  December 15, 2009 11:31 AM

The talk about attracting independents is tiresome. The Repub & Dem media class talk about Sarah Palin as though she has always been seen as a divisive person. This is total nonsense - you don't have an approval rating of 80% as governor and not appeal to independents and democrats.

The portrayal as "divisive" and "partisan" was a media fabrication. The American public would do well to not buy what the media is selling and instead pick up her book and read it.

I'm fairly confident Sarah cares more about people simply reading her book than buying it, too.

Beehive,  December 15, 2009 11:35 AM

BOOM! Taste my nightstick!

GAHanson,  December 15, 2009 11:35 AM

Beckle has got to be one of the stupidest people on 2 legs.  This is the guy who engineered Mondale's 49 state loss, why does anyone give him credit for any kind of political wisdom at all.  He's only comic relief.

BTW, Going Rogue is still holding at #1 on Amazon.  BN hasn't updated their Top 100 for 2009 yet.  They usually update it every Tuesday.  Based on sales thru Dec 7th, GR was their 4th bestseller of the year, right behind Mark Levin.

Pat in NC,  December 15, 2009 11:37 AM

As a conservative independent I have supported some conservative causes. Thus I am now on the RNC list and have been solicited for funds. My response is that I am not a Republican and any funds I am able to donate will only go to Sarah PAC. If the RNC can not see the wisdom in supporting her for president they will not see any funds from me (not that this senior citizens has money).

PatrickinOH,  December 15, 2009 11:38 AM

they don't seem to understand the paradigm is shifting or already has, it is not about GOP vs. Democrats, it is about rugged individualism vs. statism

PatrickinOH,  December 15, 2009 11:39 AM

Beckel was very sexist last night, I guess I should be happy for that because it means he has to resort to personal attacks because he can't argue the facts

Whitney,  December 15, 2009 11:43 AM

Bob Beckel is an endless source of amusement. The female comedian on the panel was very good. However, having Beckel on there so often means that there is always an unintentional comedian on Sean's panel. How seriously can you take someone who managed a campaign that only one Minnesota and DC?

PatrickinOH,  December 15, 2009 11:46 AM

I never understood that either, but what I noticed was that Beckel said he didn't even graduate from High School, its kind of ironic to hear that considering the left has sneered at Sarah for taking 5 years to get her bachelor's degree and went to 4 or 5 different schools

James in Missouri,  December 15, 2009 11:48 AM

Bob Beckel is a baffoon. Why Hannity invites him on is beyond me.  What a jerk!

Mia,  December 15, 2009 11:55 AM

The Whacko Lib's... are making "Giant Boom Boom" in there Panttloni...

Whitney,  December 15, 2009 11:55 AM

OT

<span>Apparently President Obama called insulation "sexy" during his speech today. I wonder if Michelle is jealous? I wonder if TOTUS blushed?</span>

Mia,  December 15, 2009 12:00 PM

Insulation Sexy???...WOW!...I'd say Mrs. O'Blabla...has plenty of Insulation...

Anonymous,  December 15, 2009 12:11 PM

sure seems like the governor plans to stay engaged.  in just january and february she has 3 events scheduled. the speech(es) in redding californina, the national conservative symposium and the tea party convention.  certainly the latter will high profile. also evidently she will be campaigning for rick perry in texas in january.

PatrickinOH,  December 15, 2009 12:16 PM

OMG Mia! LMAO!

GAHanson,  December 15, 2009 12:17 PM

"<span>Governor Palin Continues to be in the News</span>"

is sort of like:

"Pope Continues to be Catholic"

PatrickinOH,  December 15, 2009 12:18 PM

Did anybody notice how he told Oprah that he gives better gifts than he gets, that was a major insult to Michelle Antoinette, I guess if TOTUS had been there he wouldn't have made that mistake

Ted Torgerson,  December 15, 2009 12:18 PM

Beckel is the Washington Generals of Fox News. he's never won an argument but he keeps on playing the game.

wisetrog,  December 15, 2009 12:18 PM

She's doing two events for tea parties. I hope she lays into the GOP.

Steven,  December 15, 2009 12:19 PM

It should already been a thousand an increment. There is sure to be a white night that will match whatever ultimately is bid. Now if Palin does that, wow!

DefCon66,  December 15, 2009 12:19 PM

Bekel is a has been never was in the DNC, he worked for Carter Admin and was in Mondale's campaign staff and when he co-hosted a TV show with Tony Snow he was drunk alot of the time and Tony had to write up his talking points for the day's show while he slept off the previous night's binge. So Bekel is only there for comic relief and not taking seriously but I hope he does contribute $1000 to Sarah's coffers but that is probably just another lie like most of what liberals say....they FEAR HER!

PatrickinOH,  December 15, 2009 12:19 PM

I may able to go to the Tea Party Convention in Nashville in February but not sure yet

Steven,  December 15, 2009 12:20 PM

That's precisely why he's invited. He's a baffoon.

MarkRNY,  December 15, 2009 12:23 PM

O would think an inanimate object is sexy (screw loose). He's sort of an inanimate object himself...on a good day.

Mary Katherine's conflicted lol. The 1st part of the interview she seemed to be saying that it's not 12 it's 10 that she's interested in (between BOR interrupting her), and that she can put off running for Pres. The 2nd half, BOR browbeat her into seeming to say that she can do it now. Still too much beltway Repub box thinking for Mary Katherine I think (and this is Sarah's immediate challenge).

Juan was right about 10! This has to become the Sarah Mid Terms! She can and will do it.

As to Hannity, can't watch it. He always leaves the other guy standing. I'd have rather seen Ingraham take on Beckel.

Anonymous,  December 15, 2009 12:23 PM

wonder if she will respond to arnold s. who was talking bad about her before his speech in copehagan

GAHanson,  December 15, 2009 12:23 PM

This just in:

B&N has updated their Top 100 Books for 2009, based on sales thru Dec 14th, Going Rogue is their 3rd bestseller of the year, replacing Mark Levin's Liberty and Tyranny.  The Lost Symbol is #1 and the Twilight Saga Collection is #2.  So, GR will wrap up the year being BN's best selling non-fiction book of the year!!

Congratulations, Gov. Palin

Bill in Baltimore,  December 15, 2009 12:24 PM

don't forget, Beckel wrote a check to a prostitute and got caught, what a moron.

I think he should be given a BIG microphone, however.
- let him and James Carville talk all they want, helps us.

Bill in Baltimore,  December 15, 2009 12:24 PM

Whenever Beckel gets caught and can't reply, he says a lame joke.

PatrickinOH,  December 15, 2009 12:25 PM

Praise be to God for this news!

PatrickinOH,  December 15, 2009 12:27 PM

kind of ironic considering it was leftist environmental policies that are at least partly responsible for the fiscal chaos of California, I knew someone who was a truck driver until recently he said it is law in California you can't idle a semi truck for longer than 2 minutes

Steven,  December 15, 2009 12:28 PM

The Tea Party Convention is huge and will be the biggest event for the Guv since the RNC convention. Mainstreaming the Tea Party movement by committing to support Commonsense Tea Party Conservative candidates in 2010, will be the start of a revolution that by the end of the year maybe called the Palin Revolution. If her endorsed candidates win, she will, as Juan Williams said be bigger than she is now. And I will go further and say that she will be the undisputed head of the GOP. So the question is how many candidates will she endorse, what regions of the country will she concentrate on, and which candidates will she take a flyer on out of principle even if they are bound to lose? For example, if she endorses 80 congressional, senate, and gubernatorial candidates and those candidates end up winning 60 out the 80 races, as oppose to 70 out of 80, how many of those losses in the former case were candidate she choose out of principle knowing they would lose? In the latter case she will have a better record, but would she have compromised her common sense Tea Party principles in the name of having a better outcome? I guess what I am asking, whether the record will matter more to her at the end of the year or the message of common sense conservatism?

PEC,  December 15, 2009 12:29 PM

Lost Symbol is out of reach.  Twilight Saga Collection will likely hold.  I know GR crested a million about 2 weeks ago but does anybody know what it has done since?

PatrickinOH,  December 15, 2009 12:31 PM

Great analogy Mark someone said this a day or two ago that he was robotic, I have noticed even the way he walks is slightly robotic anybody else notice that? I theorized that maybe he is an android built by George Soros

Who cares what the Laminator says, he's about to feel the doorknob on his posterior as he leaves the governor's mansion in Sacramento with an abysmal approval rating? He's a non factor in politics now so he can go off and kiss Kennedy-Shriver butts now to stay employed because I dont see alot of roles for an over the hill action celebrity in the future.

you beat me to it Whitney I was just about to link this :) here is an excerpt of it definately read the whole thing:

Every democrat listens to the intellectual al gore because he is an expert on global warming. Go Arnold. however, the Washington Post’s discovery that Gore’s long-concealed college transcript shows grades of “F” in five of the eight Divinity School courses he took – including an “F” in a course about science and nature? (It’s clear from his “documentary” that Gore remains an ignoramus about science.) At Harvard Mr. Gore’s grades were for years lower than those Bush earned at Yale. Classmates remembered Gore, The Washington Post reported in 2000, spending “a notable amount of time” shooting pool, watching television and “occasionally smoking marijuana.” Gore (whose confessional? new book is titled “The Assault on Reason”), according to The Washington Post, “avoided all courses in mathematics and logic throughout college.” His grades at Harvard were pathetic, especially for someone who today holds himself up as the national arbiter of scientific issues. As a sophomore he got a D in Natural Sciences, and only a C-plus in another low level Natural Sciences course his senior year. In Economics — yet another field in which Gore has exhibited lifelong ignorance — he earned a C-minus.

twilight has all those 15 yr old girl buyers (like my daughter) so no way you can expect to catch that either.  to end up 3 for the year for all books and 1  for non fiction would be as good as you could have possible hoped for - if not better

Recovering Democrat,  December 15, 2009 12:44 PM

And the Salina Chamber of Commerce on Feb. 5th. I will be there! :)

Whitney,  December 15, 2009 12:46 PM

Remember too that this book will have been out for only 6/52 weeks of 2009. That makes this especially impressive.

MarkRNY,  December 15, 2009 12:48 PM

O is a naturally very, very, (Very!) un-cool guy who practiced in front of a mirror for years (with coaching) everything from his walk to his delivery. That's why he needs TOTUS and that's why he's prone to shutting down when he gets flustered. Tammy Bruce has the inner O pegged when she calls him Erkel. THAT's O!--the nerd who was picked on and knows nothing but backing down or shutting down.

Now Lady Sarah is inately COOL! It all comes naturally, and that's the only way Cool can exist. If it's not natural, you're exposed sooner or later (with O it was sooner). O's trying to keep about 20 things that aren't him together evertime you see him. That's why he looks...synthetic.

GAHanson,  December 15, 2009 12:52 PM

That's true, but BN is the biggest in store seller of books.  Amazon has yet to update its top 100 of the year.  They still have their list based on sales through October which has GR at #15 when it wasn't even out yet, and it's been #1 at Amazon for over 1 month now, except Sunday when it dropped to #2, and yesterday when it fluctuated between 1 and 2.  Since GR has been out for not quite a month yet, to make it to #3 at BN is very impressive, and it will undoubtedly end up being one of Amazon's biggest sellers of the year, the probably #1 in non-fiction (amazon is the biggest online bookseller.)

PatrickinOH,  December 15, 2009 12:53 PM

Somehow I missed O'Lielly last night.  Wow he's getting GREEN with envy over the Sarah charisma factor too!  HA!

I saw Hannity last night and Beckel is so obvious.  He doesn't believe a damn word he says - it's only cuz he's being paid.  Not a word of it.  It's written all over his face.  What a jerk.

techno,  December 15, 2009 3:01 PM

I never thought that my assertions that I made as early as March 2009 would be vindicated by a Leftie regarding how important it was for Sarah Palin not to run for re-election and to resign as soo as she could in order to orchestrate a huge conservative and Republican tsunami in the 2010 midterms that would propel her to the GOP presidential nomination.

From Juan Williams in an interview with Bill O'Reilly last night:

"If her candidates start to win next year, Sarah Palin is on the climb. She will be bigger than we are talking about today."

CudaCountry,  December 15, 2009 4:29 PM

She is bigger! She is God's daughter!
