Hu’s Still Following The Big Blue Bus: Round Up.

“This book tour has been an amazing and inspirational experience.” (Sarah Palin)

"EMPOWER YOUR DREAMS WITH DEADLINES."

As Governor Sarah Palin’s one woman 101 in The Splendid Reality of Quitting Irrelevance draws to a close, perhaps, like the Kjanlady, you “[w]oke up this morning to the realization that there was a void.......no more following the big blue bus, no more reports from the road, no more crowds of people shouting Sarah, Sarah.....no more fun watching the liberal media try to come up with new or even valid reasons to bash Sarah.....no more great personal stories from fellow barbarians who had the honor to spend a few moments with this great lady.”

And if that’s how ya feelin’, how ‘bout one final round of TAKE YA PICK ta cheer ya up?

You betcha!
(Who talks like that?)

CHILLY IN COLORADO SPRINGS?

[h/t Adam Brickley]

Nancy, Cruela, Firelight and (“orneary Sarc Sister”) Bestbud all meet up in Colorado Springs... what could go wrong?

IZZY AT THE BOOK SIGNING IN FAIRFAX

Another amazing day meeting our Sarah. As some of you know, I met Gov. Palin on her book tour Nov. 22nd at Roanoke, VA. Today I had another opportunity to me Sarah, Todd, Sarah's Dad and Mom, her auntie. It was big for me.
I arrived at the Fairfax mall around 7:30 am. It was raining. Within the next hour it started to snow but the multitude was not going anywhere. I kept busy for the most part listening to Sarah's audio book on my iphone. By 10:45 am, Gov. Palin arrived...it did not take long, by 11:00 the first bunch of people went in (this were those that were there since 8:00 pm last night). It took me another hour before I entered the door to walk towards the NEXT PRESIDENT of these United States. Security was tight.

As I walked towards the Palins, Todd was on right of Sarah...so he shook my hand and I told him how proud I was of him. I also reminded him that he is a blessed man. He smiled, and said thank you. By then Sarah was already looking at me...so I said, "Sarah, it's a blessing to meet you again. We love you immensely at C4P". She asked for my name. Then she said, "I love you guys too and I appreciate your work. Say "hello to everyone there". All this time she was very sweet, smiling and looking in my eyes. I felt special. They handed me my third autographed book. I also met her mom, dad, and aunt. They are sweet human being. God bless their hearts.

She was so pretty with that hat and that cross in her neck. I also saw Greta by Sarah's table with cameras.

Gov. Palin is an intelligent and smart leader but when you see her in person, she even much sweeter, prettier.

I was also interview by CNN for approximately five minutes. They told me it will air. So watch out for that video. I answered them in a very positive way about our Sarah. I pray they show it, if not already.

HONORARY SARC SISTER? (full transcript)

I braved the elements and went out for a jog! Or, as Newsweek calls it, a cover-shoot.

It’s a privilege to be here tonight at the Washington DC Barnes & Noble. Tonight, I'll be reading excerpts from my new book. Perhaps you’ve heard of it? “Going Rogue”… wasn’t sure if I’d go with that title and somebody suggested I follow the East Coast self-help trend and go with, “How To Look Like A Million Bucks…For Only 150 Grand.”

It is good to be here and in front of this audience of leading journalists and intellectuals. Or, as I call it, a death panel.

I’ve been touring this great, great land of ours over the last few weeks. I have to say, the view is much better from inside the bus, than under it!

To paraphrase John F. Kennedy, this has to be the most extraordinary collection of people who have gathered to viciously attack me since the last corporate gathering at CBS.

Let’s just say, if I ever need a bald campaign manager, it appears all I’m left with is James Carville.

[...]

[O]n the flight here, thumbing through a magazine and looking at a photo of President Obama with the President of China, the person next to me pointed at it and said, “Hu’s a communist.” I thought they were asking a question.

Speaking of books... Did I mention mine? “Going Rogue” Makes a great stocking stuffer. Available now at a bookstore near you. Hey, I have to pay for my campaign vetting bill somehow.

No better place than here to announce where I’m going. I’m going to Iowa! I’ll be there tomorrow from noon to 3:00 pm at the Barnes & Noble on Sergeant Road in Sioux City. Come early. Long lines are expected.

ALL THE WAY FROM CHINA?

MANAJORDAN AT COEUR D’ALENE

I wore my C4P shirt, the one with all the names for the Guv on the back. It was a hit! I of course directed people to go to the website, for the best coverage of all things Governor Palin. I also showed them in the book where she acknowledged the site. It was cool, I mean warm:)… She warmly greeted me, and then took one look at my [C4P] shirt, put her hands together and proceeded to spend the whole time thanking me. I cannot tell you how much that touched me. Here's this woman who has given so much for her country and for her fellow beings, and yet she wanted to express her gratitude. What a lady and what a heart.

COMMENTS

Sarah Palin: “I love that website!”
Sarah Palin: “You guys are doing great work at the website. Thank you so much and keep it going”.
JohnMD: “What is going to happen to the blue bus does anyone know?”
Crueladev: “You know how they air brush photos... she was air brushed in real life!”
Gelston: [at the Gridiron dinner] “[W]as Bigfoot in a tux or a pink thong?”

AND FINALLY… this cryptic message, just in via tips@conservatives4palin:

“For Cruela, love T."

.... What The?

Wow! Thanks for this excellent post! You've out done yourself yet again! :) Thanks for all of the links. This post is like a Going Rogue Drudge Report! I know this post makes Cruela's day. I think she'll be quite pleased.

To the people who started and maintain this website:

First I want to thank you for all your efforts. I plan to spend to watch through all those videos. So, thank you for posting them all, and thank you for all the great work you guys and gals do. It is very much appreciated.

Second, I am so happy to see me, a democrat (note I said democrat, NOT liberal), a america loving, freedom loving, US Constitution, US military  loving American!! (althought I'm just a DINO("dem in name only") at this point though) be welcomed on this site.

Do I have disagreements with Sarah when it comes to social issues? Yes, BUT I have many many many many things I agree with her on, and her vision for America. I would not only vote for this woman, but campaign and fundraise for her!
Anyways, I wanted to thank C4P for recognizing, that there are millions of moderate/conservative dems/independents like me, who 100% support Sarah, and for welcomning us on your site.
(we will have join forces, places like HillBuzz, etc to promote and help Sarah. At this point the radical america-hating left are try to destroy this country every chance they get!)

We both have a common goal of setting this country back to this right track, do we have differences with each other other, of course, BUT I love love this country more than any politican party, and I WILL BE PROUD TO BE CALLED A PALIN DEMOCRAT/INDEPENDENT!

Rich, awesome work, rounding up another amazing week with the Guv. All the links certainly put into perspective just how busy she has been. I hope she can rest up this coming week and holiday season.

Wow, I am so impressed by that lady who flew all the way from China just to meet Sarah!!

OnePurpleKrayon,  December 13, 2009 10:22 AM

That should be used again to see how people around the world admire her.

Kjanlady,  December 13, 2009 10:32 AM

A very impressive round-up Rich.....no wonder that it appears a lot of C4P barbarians are still abed........we've had an exhausting week trying to keep up with Sarah.  I, for one, freely admit that I will never be able to keep up with this lady....the ultimate multi-tasker.  But she's home now, resting up from the last month of 12 to 14 hour days....oh,wait......she's giving two more book signings today for our deserving military way up there in Alaska.  No doubt there are countless other obligations on her to do list....who knows, she might even be able to squeeze in another Facebook note.  If not, there is always tomorrow.

Think I'll go send another Christmas card to our service men and women heroes...lest I can do.......inspired by Sarah.

http://www.letssaythanks.com/Home1280.html

Take a moment to read some of the responses by the service men and women.  They need our support in these dark Oblamo days.

CharterOakie,  December 13, 2009 10:35 AM

Awesome, Rich.  This might be the 'mother of all round-ups.'  May take the rest of the year to review all those links, even if I've already seen many or most.

OnepurpleKrayon,
I headed for bed after my note last night.
I am pretty sure that a poster used a name similar to your new name on Adam Brickley's site. I was curious to know if you and that person were one and the same.
Adam's site was the Palin for VP site which he started over one year before she was nominated. Adam still posts here at times. (see the credit for the weather report in Colorado Springs). He had a VIP meeting with Sarah in Fairfax VA. At that time, she said to him that he is famous. There are many here, such as techno and myself who look at Adam as the start of this movement.
The moderator of that site was the awesome Mountain Mama. She posts here occasionally. She is a wonderful person also. When I see her posts, they stop me in my tracks. I have great respect for her. She has a very strong faith which shows through on her posts.

Fellow barbarians, thanks for standing up for Sarah.  Merry Christmas to each one of you.

Rich, thank you for all your efforts. I'm sure all these links will come in handy during our time of "Sarah withdrawal". I hope she gets plenty of rest so that she can come roaring back in 2010.

I come and visit often to C4P, Drudge and I am a new blogger. I offer to C4P any help and assistance with this site. Please drop me a note and let me know what can I do! Write? Campaign? Help thru my blog?

I will take some time later this day to get my Palin "fix".  I am nuts about that hat, I showed my husband where to get it and I wish I get it for Christmas.  As I manage to figure out Blogger better (I used to have a website easier to configure), my conservative views, our love of Sarah and show the truth out there will help every day awaken more "politically sleeping" Americans.

Yes, I love the work you do at C4P! All of you are very talented, committed and very knowledgeable.  Hats off to you and please count on many of us baby bloggers out there to help you out and spread more information.

Hugs, ProudPalinFan

PatrickinOH,  December 13, 2009 1:58 PM

Great write up Rich!  I want to wish a very Merry Christmas to all here at C4P and of course to the Palin family.  I first came upon this wonderful site in March 2009 and started commenting in June 2009 under the name chspats2006.  It has become my must visit site for my daily Palin fix, I would like to thank all of the people who started this site, you guys do a great job of of doing the reporting that the press used to do.  To the Sarc sisters thank you for all the laughs this year and I look forward to more from you in 2010.  Even though none of us have met personally I have always experienced a welcome and friendly atmosphere at this site.  Maybe sometime we could have a C4P convention so that all of us could finally meet.  As one of the youngest people here at C4P, I want to assure you all that I will be doing all I can to get some members of my generation on board with the Palin Express!  I think my generation can play a big role in electing Sarah Palin president in 2012 and I am so happy to be a part of it.  I was fortunate enough to see Sarah Palin being introduced to the nation at the Ervin J. Nutter Center here in Dayton on that fateful day of August 29, 2008.  My life was forever changed that day.  Not a day has gone by since when I haven't thought about Sarah or prayed for her.  Palin 2012!

Bill in Baltimore,  December 13, 2009 2:09 PM

Patrick, awesome. Thanks for sharing.

ricwon,  December 13, 2009 2:54 PM

I was ordering a couple of Glenn Beck's autographed books at the PremiereCollectible.com site when I noticed that they had pre-order (12/18/09) personally autographed Going Rogue books  available. These books come with a leather box and a certificate of authenticity.
Cost is $40 and you are limited to two only.
When you order two, which I did, you also get a choice of one free book among a choice of four. I selected Steve Doocy's Tales of the Dadside book.
This will be my x-mas gift to myself. I have already given out 4 of Sarah's books for x-mas gifts.
Since I missed out on the Richland WA book signing, I figured, what a great way to get an autographed copy.  Can't wait..

karenfromny,  December 13, 2009 3:23 PM

Yes, I agree it is Dee Dee

Nancy,  December 13, 2009 3:34 PM

Rich,
You are wonderful! What a huge job on this roundup! Like someone else mentioned, your roundup will come in handy in the coming months, for a Governor Palin fix!
Looking forward to the end of the year C4P goings on!:)
Thank you, C4P! Thank you, Rich!
