Good Morning... Ya' all...
Good Morning. Who all do we have at MOA today?
Hey y'all, kinda interesting in a not so useful kinda way.

Ciao Bello...bene...Lo adoro uomini con buona scarpe!!...YUM!
Thanks to Larry Sheldon (a C4Per), in far away Baku, I'm a proud owner of a copy of Sarah Palin "Going Rogue". At the announcement of the release of the book I requested for someone to please send me a copy and Larry offered to send me a copy.
Just checking in to say hidy and to thank everyone for all the very kind comments from yesterday. I slept most of the day and even got 9 solid hours of sleep last night, which hasn't happened in weeks, so that was a very welcome development. My poor old body is just worn slam out, so I'm giving into the fatigue and sleeping/resting as long as I keep nodding off.
I trust everyone will more than ably hold down the fort.
the first dusting of snow is on the ground in Cincinnati this morning!!!
It must have been the remains of what we got in Springdfield,IL. Very pretty!
You BETCHA! This Army will guard the door until you are ready to join us once again!
Morning All!
Should be an interesting "skate" into work...4 degrees...-19 wind chill and several inches on the ground! Why the Hell do I live here again?
Good morning fellow barbarians. Boy, it's chilly yet again. Oh, for the good old days when the snake oil salesmen promised that the earth was warming and that we would have tragedy caused by excessive heat. But it's funny how the main spouters of this fairy tale are all politicians or corrupt "scientists" paid for by government grants.
I had a dream last night that Sarah was going all over the country and people were standing in long lines for 12 to 24 hours just to see her in temperatures below freezing and even in snow storms. Ridiculous dream wasn't it, she's irrevelent....the lamestream media told us so.
Awesome :)
Good Morning!
on mornin' liberal joe none other than andrea mitchell proclaimed that Sarah is running for office. she didn't think so before the book tour, but now after seeing Sarah, she senses that she is tapping into populist anger.
Buongiorno Bella. Ah...si, ora lo capisco bene!
Moi, j'adore les femmes belles, fortes et intelligentes ...par exemple mon epouse...et Sarah...et mon amie, Mia la bella. ; )
I'm sure most of you are as sick of the White House Party Crasher story as I am. It was all a hoax created by the Obama Administration to try and diminish the negative stories he's getting about the economy, Afghanistan, Climategate, and just about every other he is doing or planning to do while avoiding the public eye. It also attempts to take the spotlight off Sarah as she tours the country and begins to make him seem irrevelent.
Check out this story:

Nicky, thanks for sharing that.
Larry, thanks for sharing!
Sweet, regenerative rest, Bean Counter. We'll hold the fort.
BTW...The weather people predict we could get snow today!
WHAAAAAAAT?????...It does not snow where I live!!!!.....
CLIMATE CHANGE??????...hmmmmm.....
LMAO...Poor Baby! I feel real bad for ya!...Go build a snowman...
That white stuff...it's called SNOW...(Hu's the Communist...)
;) ;);););););)
Cruela - Rocky mountain high, that's why. And zoomies. ; )
Besides, nationally televised sports events such as Sunday and Monday night football, etc. start and end at reasonable hours in your time zone, and there's even enough time after a day in the powder to get home and in the comfy chair by kick-off. Quit complaining!
Hey!!!...If I wanted to live where it Snows...I would!!!...I. DO. NOT. UGH!
OT - For you football fans. Sarah's Alma Mater Idaho is playing in the Humanitarian Bowl. Wonder if the Palin's will get tickets and go.
You mean Andrea "you're not listening to me" Mitchell, who narrowly escaped getting slimed on Bristol Bay near Dillingham?
Sure, there's populist anger out there. But what she saw instead was populist joy at the chance to meet Sarah.
Okay...thanks for the reminder!
Now you know how the Cajuns in South Louisiana felt a couple of days ago. Good grief, I had to turn on my heat for the first time in three years.
We got you covered. Rest is one of the best things you can do now to heal your body. Just so glad things look good (wonderful) for you.
We have rain here in California this morning. Wow...we need it. Snow in the mountians.
I'm still predicting a Facebook post from the Gov. on the anniversary of Pearl Harbor.
Kjanlady...UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!!...Yesterday morning...at 7:00 am...it was 24 degrees!!!!...ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!!....WE Froze!!!...
Obama's Christmas
The blog On MY Watch-The Writings of Sam Henry has a three part series of posts describing an Obama Christmas. Funny.

Sorry, don't know why the last link pooped, but you can read it if you go to site.
Hey all,
Obama (and Pelosi) want to use ~$180 BILLION of UNALLOCATED TARP funds for a jobs program !
now, let's just call this "the TARP slush fund", because this is not the intent of the money !
or we can call it "bait and switch" . . .
Wash Post write-up
Obama speaking at Brookings Institute on Tues
One more thing...We have 14 citrus trees in our yard...This cold weather could kill them!!!...NOT HAPPY!!!!
I'm serious Mia....Friday we had snow and below freezing temps here, today it's going to be 56 degrees and the forcast for tomorrow is 70 degrees with 80% chance of rain. Winter here is sorta like summer without the air conditioner.
No wonder the liberal liars + John McCain and Lindsay Graham changed it from global warming to "climate change".
10 random thoughts that have political implications:
1) I watched a Brett Favre interview yesterday in which he used the word SCHISM to be used to describe the sentiment in the locker room when he first joined the Minnespta Vikings this season. This reminded me of the SCHISM that occurred between the RC church and Protestants in the 16th century and beyond and currently the sentiment, according to the polls, that some evangelicals have towards Mormons. Favre talked about the SCHISM being eliminated in the locker room when he threw a game-winning pass to Greg Lewis with a few seconds left in a game to pull the Vikings feet out of the fire and I hope the SCHISM between members of the GOP can be healed likewise in a dramatic way. After all the Republican party is a POLITICAL PARTY and not a church denomination. The opposition to Obama has got to start to realize this.
2) Mike Huckabee should keep his mouth shut. To wade into the Tiger Woods mess now and to advocate for Woods' privacy is like a jailer falling asleep at the guardpost allowing the prisoner to escape and then in the same breath standing up in church as deacon next Sunday mitigating the fact that the minister had an affair with the church organist. Huck is a politician, but his sense of proportion and his sense of timing is plain awful.
3) There are many aspects of HYPOCRISY. In the Tiger Woods saga, isn't it HYPOCRITICAL of golf writers and others to now attack Tiger for his indiscretions when they knew of his dalliances all along or should have done their job diligently, investigated the rumors and uncovered the evidence and then had the guts to expose Tiger years ago. You can argue that Tiger's sexual prowess has nothing to do with golf, but really what does the birth of Trig have to do with Sarah Palin's political skills and acumen? In both cases absolutely nothing. But in interest of full disclosure, before golf writers, PGA golfers or caddies bash Tiger let them first come out and tell us whether they knew or not.
4) Let's define what an unforced error for a politician is. It is when you voluntarily open your mouth and comment on a subject WITHOUT PROMPTING and then go off message and provide feast for the opposition or fodder to be used against you to cause disaffection among your supporters or to prevent potential voters from jumping on the bandwagon. With respect to the supposed 'b*****r' comment by Sarah Palin, SP did not volunteer the information; she was responding to a query from Rusty Humphries. That she answered a follow-up question on the subject might though be interpreted as a possible borderline unforced error since she could have stuck with the original answer. That SP realized that her subsequent answer could be interpreted as advocating 'b*****rism' proves to me that SP is a very astute politician and once it was pointed out to her by a staff member of the misinterpretation of her comments (IMHO) she correctly issued a rapid-response Facebook post to clear the air that she in NOT a 'b****er'. This not only proves that Sarah is politically savvy but that she understands how to use 21st c technology to its utmost political advantage. This is one of the most overlooked assets in the Palin political resume.
5) Obama's falling poll numbers give our side hope he can be beaten in 2012 but that's not the main thing that they will eventually reveal, which is whether Obama will behave like a typical politician and try to placate the rising opposition to his agenda and become less radical or if he will continue to pursue it as an ideologue and 'damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead'. By Obama identifying himself as a radical Marxist, that will give IMHO Sarah more opportunity to expose him further (beyond the 'communist' joke at the [...]
I hear ya...I was Shocked... when you said it was snowing!
BTW...I love your area...The food is magnificent!...YUM!
Yep, we're supposed to get snow, too. I'm in Southern California, but I'm in the High Desert, where the elevations are, well, higher.
And this is the kind of weather I remember we had in the 1970's. Rain and snow in December and January, which made for lovely holidays. Then, from the 1980's to last year, the weather was strangely different - so hot in the winter that we could wear shorts. It was crazy.
So to me, Mother Nature is getting right back to her "normal" cycle. This is how it's supposed to be and I'm glad to see we are actually getting to experience the seasons of Fall, Spring, Summer and Winter, rather than the perpetual Summer weather we were getting there for a few decades.
I have firewood stacked and ready to go, everything is covered and battoned down, so I'm ready: BRING ON THE SNOW!
BTW...Kjanlady...Do. Not. put Mac and Lindsay together...It upsets Beehive!!!...hehehe...
hahaha
Mia
Awww. Always watching out for me. Not!
What???...huh???...It was Kjanlady!!!!...NOT. ME. GEEEEEZ!!!!!!
Techno...looking forward today to some polls and you talking about them.
I do think "The One" is all wee weed up about Sarah and her book. Politico has an article from Time mag. that he complains about the reporers asking him if he were
going to read her book.
Well Huckabee, is just, he gets on my nerves, he's the Elmer Gantry caricature, or Marjoe Gartner, that they fix upon Sarah. Instead of taking responsiblity and pivoting onto the Gregoire administration, he's in deep denial of the facts. Similarly on his weak argument for the Obama policy on Afghanistan, which seems imminently more incoherent as one examines it.
Yeah yeah. I'm on to your game.
Those pictures of Governor Palin praying with those ladies before her book signing, must melt lefty's brains!
Sweet!:)
Thank you, Lord, for this wonderful, Godly lady!
6) If you watch enough sports you realize that most teams have low points over the course of a season (eg. the New England Patriots currently) and I do wish it upon her but inevitably Sarah Palin is going to hit a spotty patch along the campaign train or in her trek towards the 2010 midterms and perhaps the primary season in 2011 and 2012. This might be reflected in lower poll numbers, unfavorable political commentary, reports that Sarah's perceived GOP opposition in the primaries is growing stronger, Palin supporters who defect, prominent GOP politicians and ex-politicians excoriating Palin for her positions, personality or personal resume etc. Folks, everything is not going to stay rosy, that I can guarantee. Be prepared for a downturn in Sarah's fortunes but pledge to never give into discouragement or negative publicity. Let's not be fair-weather supporters.
7) George Soros and the shadow party and the Far Left now own the Democratic Party and Barack Obama. There is no way that anyone is going to challenge Obama in 2011-2012. They are fully aware of what happened in 1980 when Ted Kennedy's primary challenge weakended Carter's standing and for many they think led to such a devastating loss to Reagan. "The Chicago way" also refers to Democrats as well. No Democrat is about to cross Soros IMHO. if they do, they will be squashed as Obama destroyed his political opponents when he ran for the Senate.
8) Huckabee's ego will not prevent him to bow out of the presidential sweepstakes gracefully. I think he will keep HuckPAC open, thereby sending word out to his hardcore supporters that he is not going anywhere (realizing Palin and Pawlenty will bleed some of his supporters away which he cannot prevent). I think Huck realizes now that Palin is running for POTUS in 2012; obviously if she didn't Huck would jump back into the primaries with both feet arguing only he could deliver the evangelical vote in the general election. But Huck, nevertheless will be paying close attention to Romney and Pawlenty and any other dark horse, the former if he can recover from such poor F/UF among Republicans and conservatives (PPP polls) and the latter whether he can gain traction (double-digits). Huck will lay in the weeds and be ready to pounce if he sees an opportunity to seize the brass ring and corner the anti-Palin and moderate vote. But Clemmons will always hang over his head. If I were giving advice to Huck I would counsel him to give up running in 2012, stay with his Fox gig, and essentially stay out the crosshairs of angry conservatives, but it appears now that Huck is not about to take my advice.
9) The Tiger Woods saga is deflecting the public's attention away from Obama's pending agenda to impose cap and trade and to bury Climategate (Cophenhagen), to take over 1/6 of the economy through national healthcare on America, and his proposal for a second stimulus; if Obama does get his full agenda passed he should invite Tiger to the White House and offer him the opportunity to sleep in the Lincoln bedroom for the next month. After all what is more important to the future of America, humiliating Tiger Woods further and exposing more paramours or to save the American way of life from total destruction. From the past week you would think that the former is now a much higher priority.
10) When you couple the endorsements or at least strong recommendations of the triumvirate of Billy Graham, Jim Robinson of FR, and Brigadier General Anthony Tata over the course of a week or so with the splendid witty performance of Sarah Palin at the Gridiron dinner on Saturday evening and her visit to Walter Reed on Sunday morning, you have before you a microcosm of what could unfold over the next 6-9 months while SP prepares the way to [...]
Rasmussen daily tracking poll:
-11 (27-38) strongly approve-strongly disapprove
Obama gained 3 points over yesterday
-1 (49-50) approve-disapprove
Obama gained 4 points in one day
Sunday was a great polling day for Obama.
But this is the 22nd straight day Obama's strongly approval has been below 30%
And this is the 17th straight day of polling that Obama's approval number has been below 50%.
Techno - I don't know if 49-50 is a great polling day. I believe this is just part of the ebb and flow of Rasmussen.
Nancy, what links ? what links ? HURRY !
Huck is an empty shell, Techno, every day confirms the point. As for Obama, I think there is a significant faction in the Democratic party that even if he nationalizes all industry and slashes the military in half, they still wouldn't be satisfied with him. If Health Care and Cap n Trade passes, the costs will be felt upfront,
I know we didn't cover it much. But 911NeverForget Coalition had a rally on Saturday to protest bringing the terrorist to NYC for trial. Bad weather and all, there was a decent crowd. Atlasshrugs covered it really well and cspan covered it.

http://www.c-spanvideo.org/program/id/216399
Gaining 3 points in his net approval index and 4 points in his overall approval number in one day I would call a great polling day. Sorry if my objectivity offends you but it is what it is.
Today TCM is showing the full complement of Frank Capra's 7 documentaries on the what started the war and the course of it. Pay special attention to the steps the Fascists (Germany, Italy, Japan) took to eliminate all opposition and to convince their public that their government and country could do no wrong. And pay special attention to the fanaticism of the population as they listen to the speeches of the politicians.
That just made my day. I LOVE Capra!!
Tweet from Fred Malek:
FredVMalek @SarahPalinUSA has to be the nicest person ever to appear at Gridiron, so charming and self-deprecating in her very funny talk.
I would like to know specifically who Rasmussen polled yesterday to make Obama have such a good day.
I have called ID and screen all my calls. The last thing I want to see on my phone on Sundays is a number I cannot recognize while watching NFL football. As a matter of fact, because I work Monday thru Friday, the weekends are my days to run errands, go grocery shopping, go to church, do laundry/ironing for the work week, and spend time with friends and family.
If I received a random phone call with my opinion of Barack Obama, I don't think I would be all that kind.
Whit, I agree with you. But I also wouldn't be surprised to see a Facebook later today or this evening about the Govt Funded Abortion discussion happening today.
Well guys....I did it....I couldn't stop myself....I just ordered the Sarah hat...in brown rather than olive....olive is not my color with my blond hair and blue eyes.
Justification.....it rains here an awful lot and I don't have a rain hat.......my birthday is in a couple of weeks and I always got combined Christmas/Birthday gifts all my life.....I might as well spend the money before it's confiscated by the Obama Administration......other Sarah supporters will be able to pick me out in crowds and I'll make a lot of new friends......darn it, it's my money and I'll spend it the way I want to......and I thought that just in case of rain I'd have something to wear should Sarah be in the neighborhood for a book signing, or a rally or a campaign stop and I can wear it to Washington DC to see her sworn in as Madame 45....just in case it rains.
See guys......female logic.....it can solve any problem.
Gals.....hurry if you want one....in stock supplies are low....only 1 left in hot pink.
Prego, Bella. : )
Here's another tweet from Malek
Had pleasure of spending eve with @SarahPalinUSA and Todd at Gridiron last night. Her book sales through the roof, never happier.
It didn't offend. My point is saying being at 49 Approval and 50 disapproval is not good. For a one day gain it is good but I don't think the WH is celebrating those #s. If his approval was say 53-47 or better then he would be celebrating. As far as daily tracking. If you look historically with Rasmussen and Gallup there is an ebb and flow within ranges. You can really see it with Gallup as they have the trend lines.
Sorry not a fan of this guy. Not an enemy either but just too inside the beltway for me. Of course that said he has not thrown her under the bus like the other Inside the Beltwayers so maybe I should be a little nicer.
h/t to Uffda, last night on open thread.

Hope that works!:)
10 further thoughts:
1) If an athlete is being wooed into joining the IMG stable I wouldn't cite Tiger Woods as an example of providing great advice. Is Tiger's publicity now being handled by former McCain handlers who have now joined IMG?
2) Obama is complaining about Going Rogue or is he really complaining about the Gridiron dinner allowing Twitter to disseminate to the elites how brilliant and witty Sarah Palin really is.
3) Why is there no attack by the GOP establishment on the Palin comment: "I have no mercy for the bad guys; I'm for the good guys"? At a minimum you could call this simplistic if you were a RINO? Or do the RINO's see the handwriting on the wall?
4) Ironically while Steele and GOP hierarchy are thinking about imposing a 'purity test' for primary candidates, Sarah Palin is talking about fair competition and 'duking it out' between moderates and conservatives in the party.
5) Why is there not more publicity to Obama and the Salahi's having a mutual acquaintance: Rashid Khalidi, a fanatical pro-Palestinian advocate. What are the chances the the gatecrashers and Obama have a common association?
6) Why isn't anybody bringing up the fact that the Olympic decision to give Brazil the 2016 summer games instead of Chicago was made from Copenhagen after an appearance from the Messiah and why Obama's second appearance in Copenhagen for the climate summit may also lead to a failure?
7) If Tiger Woods indeed was so sexually active, when did he have time to practice or even play golf? You have to admit the man does have exceptional time management skills, let alone the libido of an Arabian sheik with a harem.
8) Is the American military leadership, like the rest of American political leadership, occupied now by beta males or effeminate types? (I am not talking about the rank and file but the top leadership)
9) Tiger Woods should blame George Bush for all his sex addiction. After all always blaming Bush worked for Obama and it is still working.
10) Sarah Palin should offer a spot in her campaign to James Carville and when he refuses she could then hire Mary Matalin to prove she is bipartisan.
Techno... about #5, check out my post @7:54 with link to canada free press article. They do have a proven relationship.
I'm not necessarily a big fan either. I just like this tweet.
Kjanlady, how do I order this for my Sarah girls ?
techno, re: # 8, beta males in top leadership of military:
Arm-chair observation, but definitely: Petraeus, Tata, McCrystal (I assume, don't know him), many others.
Great picture.
I think every Sarah female fan should purchase the Sarah green hat, and wear it to Sarah events. and wear it to non-Sarah events.
Baku Azeribaijan?
What about Jones, Colin Powell, Wesley Clark?
World's oldest profession is alive and well in Copenhagen
Odierno is not a beta male. Yes there are some. Hate to say it product of Clinton years.
Understood. Yes he has good tweets. I am just wary. I think what he recognized is how happy she is.
Bill,
It's at amazon.com

Techno, I think #5 is in the same category as all other past associations, in that they should have been uncovered and brought up BEFORE the Iowa primary, and BEFORE he was LEGITIMIZED. Once he was legitimized, it's very difficult to use those associations against him effectively. Any mention of those associations now would be seen as racist. However, I'm not ruling out this strategy forever. If and when he commits a VERY HUGE error due to his past associations, if and when he becomes as unpopular as GWB, then maybe even the MSM will start questioning his associations. But I'm not holding my breath.
Okay.. I'll cut you some slack...this time!
I don't think you're going to have to tell them twice Bill (lol).

It also comes in a variety of colors...even pink.
What about it guys...ready to show your support for Sarah?
Via a new CNN poll of Sarah Palin's overall F/UF they now have it at 46/46. In the last poll released at the end of October it was 42/51. Poll was taken Dec 2-3.
Great news and proof that Sarah is breaking through. And don't forget we are still roughly 7 months away from the 2010 midterm season and about 2 years from the 2011 debates.
And Sarah isn't electable? Gone with the wind!
I was waiting on you Techno. This is the same poll that has Obama at 48-50%. Higher Disapproval for Obama than Sarah. Big drop in disapproval. The elites and Dems are afraid. VERY VERY afraid.
Wow, they didn't even try to use a misleading headline! Plus, they used a picture of the Gov. with THE hat. :)
8 out 10 Republicans have a favorable opinion of Palin now that confirms Rasmussen poll about 2 weeks ago.
"Independents are evenly divided on Palin; 51% of independent men see her in a positive light with a nearly equal amoung view Palin in a negative way."
This definitely not what the GOP establishment wants to hear or report.
This is a poll from state-run media who samples ADULTS rather than registered or likely voters. That means her numbers among indies are even better than CNN tells us they are.
Up 7 points since her resignation! And a CNN poll to boot. This is great news folks.

Where do you live?
PEC,
a lot of people are turning around. I think it is interesting that he's tweeting (as an old guy). that's good, means he sees the power of it and likely the same with SP.
KJ, thank you !
Powell and Clark are old news. I don't know Jones.
what ever happened to Norman Schwarzkoff (sp) ?
KJ,
I asked my Sarah girls (two daughters, one wife, and one sister-in-law) what color they want.
I will ask my Mom too, she's reading the book . . .
KJ,
cheaper for guys, yes. but only 1 color !
- sheesh
I love Monday ! Today is so much fun, it's like the day after winning the Super Bowl !
When I was at the book signing on Saturday in Fairfax, when I got in BJ's (after standing in the snow for 3+ hours [and sleeping in the cold for 6] ), I was straining to see Sarah with about 20 people in front of me.
when I saw the hat, I just flipped. Instantly it was a smash hit. Unbelievable.
my write-up on the day is on my web site, you can find it in my profile. I go beyond the temperature and the excitement in meeting her to discussing the phenomenon of SP and the emptiness of BHO.
With all apologies to Sarah Palin if Tiger Woods goes on Oprah by the end of the year as he is now considering, Oprah's ratings with go through the roof and be even better than Sarah's. Having said that Sarah got from the Oprah interview exactly what she expected and needed, a springboard to further credibility and a reduction of the gender gap (CNN poll released today).
Sarah's still on Drudge (with the hat), she's been there for like 2-3 days I think.
The full moon must be out again.
From the Gallup daily tracking poll
F UF
Obama's overall 47 46
yesterday 49 44
And Gallup like CNN only polls ADULTS and not registered voters or likely voters and today Obama is 2 points behind Rasmussen. Utterly unbelievable.
For those of you who didn't catch it earlier Rasmussen had Obama's F/UF today at 49/50.
techno, sorry, why is that unbelievable ?
Gallup has traditionally been a few point above Rasmussen who uses LIKELY VOTERS. Gallup who uses ADULTS is not supposed to below Rasmussen. That like saying that the Oakland Raiders had no chance of beating the Pittsburgh Steelers. Of course we know now that they did.
He means it should be lower, all other factors being equal, it will take some time but it will, they will likely revise those unemployment numbers upwards by the next cycle
Actually there are more color choices in the men's hat than the woman's hat. They even have olive green.
Still waiting for that apology you promised Elin. You remember, for calling her vicious and crazy at the expense of propping up your false idol.
Elin Nordegren, like Sarah Palin, was wrongly smeared with terms like 'crazy' and 'vicious' by chauvinists bent on her destruction, only to be vindicated in the end. Todays golf lesson: Winners never cheat and cheaters never win. Oh, And their fans never apologize either.

Love #10
WELL...I WANT ONE OF THOSE HATE....BUT....I WANT ONE JUST LIKE SARAH HAS WITH BUTTONS AND ALL.
I think those that have "connections" should ask those that could find out where Sarah got that hat. She owes it to us here at C4P to give us the info. It would be her contribution to the stimlus efforts.
I will not buy one of those hats until I find out who makes the one that Sarah has...I want that kind...waaaa waaaaa I want one like that waaaaa
HATE=HATS
Maybe someone that is going to her other book signing could find out for us.
Let us know friends if you are going to any book signings??? Find out where she
got that hat.
Doesn't Rasmussen do three days of average?? That could make a differnece.
The amazon.com hat has the covered buttons.
