Todd and I would like to offer our best wishes to the Jewish community as they celebrate Hanukkah. Known as the Festival of Lights, Hanukkah commemorates the eight-day miracle that took place when the Temple in Jerusalem was rededicated. Though there was only enough consecrated oil for one day, the flame miraculously burned for eight – just long enough to prepare more. This beautiful story is rich with life lessons for members of all faiths. With hope and dedication nothing is impossible, and the Almighty never abandons those who seek the light.

I did not sleep at all last night.. I just could not get it out of my head. I never related it to my friend...but Got the call today. It was not unexpected...there was nothing anyone could do. It was just a matter of time. But hey..Thanks Kids.. were good.. just need some time!

Nancy would recite some poetry or re-write some song lyrics to help you. I would do something too. I just don't know what. Hug your cat and dogs! That always helps.

Palin’s bestseller has been racking up sales for the former Alaska governor and vice-presidential candidate, and now Romney’s team is planning an ambitious national tour for the March release of his new book, “No Apology: The Case for American Greatness.”
Romney aides in Utah are hoping for up to 10,000 fans at one of the first stops on the planned tour, a March 13 signing at the Salt Palace in Salt Lake City. Tickets for the event go on sale later this week at www.MittRomneyUtah.com
Does Mitt actually think he'll be able to compete with Gov. Palin as far as selling books, and attracting crowds? I admit, he'll probably get a big crowd in Salt Lake City, but his book won't make it anywhere near the top 10, probably not even in the top 100, and his crowds outside of Salt Lake City will be pretty puny.
That is pretty pathetic, even for Mittens.
Selling tickets 3 months in advance, that sounds like they know for sure it will take that long to raise that big a crowd even in Salt Lake City. Every event Gov. Palin attends is sold out within a day or two. It would be fun if Gov. Palin showed up in Salt Lake City for an event on the same day, poor Mitt would just have his wife, kids, and his aids.

I'm very pleased that Ms. Palin issued the Hanukkah greetings. We often get carried away with Christmas and forget other religions have their winter celebrations.
