Man!--I love that picture of The Cuda!
Hey O, Cary Grant you're not buddy.
That picture say's it all!!!...
I. LOVE. MY. COUNTRY... GET. OUT. OF. MY. WAY.
I concur with you Mia and Mark
I love that picture.
I wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of that look-lol. I'd be like "Uh...Gotta go".
As to Barry's "GQ pose", it kind of doesn't work when your ears are wider than your shoulders.
LOL!
The picture of O'Blabla...reminds me of the movie Austin Powers...Mini Me!!
hehe... the article there is almost as good as the pictures!
I think that Sarah is giving AlQaeda her "mom-look"in that pic!!
Good Morning, Good Morning, Good Morning......
Well, last nite was fun. What are we gonna do today. ;-)
"mom-look"....ha ha!
defend, I think all us moms have that look down pat.
Mark...that's a goodin'! ha ha
I have a friend to had a meeting with Condi Rice at Stanford. Back then, he did not know who she was. He said the men marched in, she did the talking, and the men marched out. Meeting. Over. :<)
Your "mom-look" comment started me laughing. That was my first thought about her Facebook statement. It's her "Mom-rant". We've all been on the receiving end of The Rant many times. At least I was. It's really difficult to civillize children and it takes a long time before they "get it". Some don't fully get it until they are past 30. Thank God, Sarah ranted on him about national security. It was one of her best. He is a tough nut to crack because he is so full of himself.
Obama doesn't seem to have ever been on the receiving end of a Mom-Rant. Isn't it funny how obvious the lack of early training is. Methinks he needs many more. He isn't grown up yet and we are all in great danger because of it. Go Sarah!
luv the feral expression on that pic. i imagine thats the look she gives when she see's obama bowing.

Regarding the link to the electoral situation, all Sarah will have to do is win back OH, IN, FL, VA, NC in the east along with the one vote that went Dem in NE. Then, she simply needs to win ONE state from the following list:
CO
NV
NM
IA
WI
That's it. That simple. If O and the Dems keep this insane push to the left, Sarah will only have to win the GOP primary and she will win. In that case, the GOP primary becomes more important.
However, even though her prospects look very good, Obama, the Dems and the LSM will still put up a vicious fight.
We will still need to sacrifice in this fight like we NEVER have done in our lives before.
Good thing she resigned. What would our lives be like if she had stayed ???
'Barry's "GQ pose", it kind of doesn't work when your ears are wider than your shoulders."
Bet SNL will steal your line!
Our military....longing for and waiting in anticipation for their CUDA Commander-in-Chief........ as she says........You Islamic terrorists want to blow yourselves up and join Allah and all those virgins..........well, let me and my boys see if we can't help you with that.........Boom, taste my boy's bullets............you betcha! Oh, you want some more..........Boys, send in those 10,000 heavily armed drones I just ordered.
And you thought Bush was a tough COC......you haven't seen anything til you've come up against a pissed off military mom with power and a finger on the button.
Boy, that is a "mom look".
You know how many times I got that look when I was a kid?? I was sort of an Alvin type (as in Alvin and the Chipmunks). When I got that look it was escape route city--out my bedroom window, onto the garage roof and down the street. She could hit like George Foreman (half Polish). Still can!
That is fantastic! I love it.
I'll sue them! Tina Fey will never work again!
Thanks lol
Agreed. I've been seeing it that way for a while.
COC = CIC = Commander in Chief
Yes, I like that picture also; I like the picture I used on my blog which is of the Guv sitting next to the bearskin (Putin the Bear) with the caption,"tough as nails." What I really don't understand is why over at hotair he is back to using that really insulting picture of Sarah I guess winking, but it is really exaggerated and he is using it to lead in to her facebook posting on terrorism. I can't understand why he would want to deprecate what she is saying which is what he is doing with that picture. Some one needs to tell him to get a clue or knock it off or something.
I have to admit.......that while I love our "happy warrior", sometimes I really wish the Serious Sarah side of her would come out more often. I think back to her gubernatorial debates: she was ALL BUSINESS. She had this, "I don't have time to deal with petty stuff" attitude: respectful, but firm. I think that's why I really dig that O'Reilly interview when she interrupted him saying: "He is bowing to world leaders!" Grrrr...pitbull!
That's kind of what I feel like right now. I'm a happy-go-lucky person, very positive, but I'm getting to the point where I don't find a lot of what's going on in America today funny at all.
Great pictures. FYI, "Constitutional" is spelt wrong in first photo of obama.
I knew Liz Cheney would respond. She never disappoints. Just received an email from "Keep America Safe."
Statement by Liz Cheney in Response to President Obama's National Security Remarks
"Pausing the transfer of al-Qaeda terrorists from Guantanamo Bay to Yemen is insufficient to ensure the security of the United States. If President Obama is serious about keeping the American people safe, he should reverse his irresponsible and ill-advised decision to close the Guantanamo Bay detention facility.
He should reverse his decision to usher terrorists from Guantanamo onto U.S. soil. He should reverse his decision to bring the mastermind of 9/11, Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, to New York. He should reverse his decision to give KSM and other terrorists the rights of Americans and the benefit of a criminal trial in an American civilian court.
He should immediately classify Abdulmutallab, the Christmas Day bomber, as an illegal enemy combatant, not a criminal defendant. He should inform Attorney General Holder that he will no longer allow the Justice Department to treat terrorism as a crime instead of an act of war, nor will he allow them to investigate or prosecute CIA officials who kept us safe after 9/11, or disbar or otherwise punish the lawyers who provided the legal framework for programs that saved American lives.
President Obama has weakened American security by treating terror as a law enforcement matter, refusing to use every tool at his disposal to prevent attacks, and taking his eye off the ball. America's homeland security and counterterrorism systems will continue to erode in the absence of strong, consistent, unwavering presidential stewardship. It's time for the President to make defending this nation his top priority."

According to John Fund, The DNC is already planning to slam Sarah as part of their 2010 strategy. Buckle up, this is going to get real ugly.
Tina will make big comeback..Madame 45 will extend her career thru 2020!
She's so awesome.
Speaking of Keep America Safe, why not run Debra Bellingam, the prominent 9/11 widow against Gillenbrand? The GOP is feckless it's not even bothering to recruit a good candidate against Gillenbrand or Paterson when both of them are quite vulnerable. I dunno what the Tea Party is doing. You can't let such a golden opportunity pass by.
If Harold Ford Jr. can run in NY after being in Tennesse most of his life, I don't see why GOP can't bus in an attractive candidate from some where. Liz Cheney, Gary Sinise, are you all listening?
Not to knock the IQ of John Fund, but you don't have to be a genius to figure that out. I am have been claiming the
Far Left would be doing this for the last year.
It's not that difficult to gauge the mood of the Obama war room. It goes something like this:
"We put Sarah Palin down as we put down a dog-we're not home free but we're more than half way there. Huckabee's got that 'clemency problem' and Mitt's got Romneycare so he can't go ballistic on us over Obamacare. And the Tea Party Movement will go the way of all protest groups without a leader. Cut off the head and the body will die. But we have to take Sarah Palin out. Now we have to figure out a way to infiltrate her organization. Where is Tina Fey when you need her?"
Thing is that everyone already knows exactly what they're going to do. They've shot their wad. Sarah's becoming teflon as far as their attacks go. They attack her every day. They've already overplayed their hand. There's no dirt to dig up, so it's just more of the same.
Frum's playing the "Divisive" card. He's a punk and no one would know his name if it weren't for his attacking Sarah. HE knows this too. I'm sure Sarah's ready for this.
Praying for Sarah as she continues to speak out on behalf of all Americans.
Sarah is our voice and she represents American values .
She is the only one stepping up to the plate and speaking the truth.
Sarah has the COURAGE to do what is right for Americans. She does not shy away in order to gain the media's approval or because she it might hurt her "political image". Sarah stands-up and speaks-out because she is a Patriot; She loves God and County and she always does what is best for the people, whether in Alaska or The United States of America.
God bless Sarah, Todd and their precious family as she continues to do the will of God for their lives and for The United States of America in the name of our Savior and Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
Blessings, Irma
Prayer Warriors for Sarah Palin
I don't know what they are waiting for. Gillenbrand and Peterson are beatable this year. I was hoping Rudy was going to run, he would have won easily.
Sarah is not afraid to stand up for what she believes in and fight for it. I truly believe the only thing Obama believes in is himself.
She understand human nature so much better than he does. I wish the world was as simple as he tries to convey . . . that by just telling the bad guys that they should play nice they will.
Bill in Baltimore:
Imagine if Palin was hamstrung by the Alaskan bloggers and embroiled in legal proceedings in Alaska if still governor, imagine if Going Rogue wasn't written or released in Nov 2009 but instead May 2010, and imagine if Palin could not engage in any political activities in the lower 48 until at least the end of May 2010.
Now you can see why I called for her not to run for re-election. Quite honestly I could see in spring 2009 how much our side would need her in 2010 and if she was not available Romney and Huckabee would have the playing field to themselves for the first half of 2010 and perhaps nailed down favors or voting constituencies that could have gone Palin but would not because of her perceived non-participation in the run-up to the 2010 midterms and the midterms.
To be honest Huckabee was in fairly decent shape before Palin resigned. Now he has to hope Romney falls apart and IMHO that is not likely to happen because of Mitt's fortune.
Hey karenfromny, what do you think of Lazio's chances?? I keep getting e-mails from his campaign. I wanted Rudy to run for Guv. Disappointing.
The true CIC of talk radio, Rush Limbaugh returns today I believe.
I'll take the commandress-in-chief over the campaigner-in-chief any day!
OT about Sarah's FB post, but I noticed when the Weekly Standard posted it (Michael Goldfarb, who Continetti references in his book) used the phrase "from the People's Governor" to link to the FB. :)
Having the WS on her side will be very helpful.
Hello all, any word about SarahPAC disclosing how much it's collected or will it be later? I'm curious to know how that's going for if she's got quite the warchest the GOP may start to grudgingly come to her.....maybe.
OT again, but over at FR, someone pointed out that a supporter at one of Sarah's book signings had a t-shirt that read
MY HOCKEY MOM
CAN BEAT UP
YOUR COMMUNITY ORGANIZER!
See Sarah's reaction here:

heh heh
Let's hear it for the moms!
For those who missed Whitney's earlier post, it sounds like she's going to be on Hannity today:
Sorry everyone, I should have clarified. Radio guest today - @SarahPalinUSA
Guest today - @SarahPalinUSA hope you all tune in!
Does anyone know what time Hannity radio is on? The Guv is going to be on his show today.
Central time it's 2:00-5:00.
I still get that look from my Mom!
She is?? I've got a #^%$&# meeting!! (excuse the language).
I'll get you Hannity!
She is?? I've got a %&$@# meeting! (excuse the language).
I'll get you Hannity!
Which, of course, means EST is 3:00 to 6:00, my drive home time. Hmmm, and I'm listening to Sarah's book on my commute.
I'm also s'posed to go grocery shopping on the way home. Hmmm.
Decisions, decisions ...
It is due end of this month.
I believe you could add PA to that list of others. If Sarah rallies the Conservatives there and as Hopey, Hopey, changy changy dies down so will the rallied voters for him.
So it's true about Bristol?
http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=20601086&sid=aq0oYidTOnr0
yes, a decision that literally changes the world. and no doubt after prayer.
Here's another event she is scheduled for. Oldvet posted it in the thread below.
She is doing a Get Motivated Seminar in Houston on Feb 8th. Tommy brought up the fact that she was also scheduled to do 2 events in Redding on that same day.
I thought it was odd so I called the Get Motivated event and he told me that Sarah Palin is speaking at the Houston event but couldn't tell me what time because of security and the high profiles of the speakers.
So the 8th is going to be a busy day for her. She is going to be speaking in Houston I assume in the morning and then in Redding in the afternoon and evening.
Wow. She is going to stay busy.

You just know Sean is going to ask her about Scott Brown. I wonder if she'll endorse him?
Beehive, here are all the times for Sean's show in Utah: http://www.hannity.com/affiliates/utah
Alright back to class again, check in later.
I've wondered that too. I heard him on Hannity yesterday, and he seems pretty good overall. However, he is pro-choice. I don't know if that would be a "dealbreaker" for her or not. Also, not that she is worried about political implications, but such a decision may allow independents to see her as a pragmatist who wants to see the Republicans have 41 in the Senate to stop the health care bill among other things. However, "value voter" conservatives wouldn't like such a decision. Also, it may depend on how Brown feels Sarah's endorsement may influence MA voters.
Just my two cents.
Ah Sweet.
Thanks Patrick. You rock!
At the risk of sounding like Chris Matthews, I have to say that when I hear her speak like she did in her latest FB note, I get a warm, fuzzy feeling. I will sleep much better when Sarah Palin is in the White House. These terrorists have much to fear with her as Commander-in-Chief. She isn't going to play footsies with them; she's just going to order the bombers into the air. Just another way she reminds me of Reagan.
I keep going back to her requirements to receive her endorsement, and life is one of them. From her speech:
"And I'll work hard for others who still believe in free enterprise and smaller government; strong national security for our country and support for our troops; energy independence; and for those who will protect freedom and equality and LIFE... I'll work for and campaign for those PROUD to be American, and those who are INSPIRED by our ideals and won't deride them."
So, yeah, I wonder if Scott Brown fits her bill?
He is known on Long Island, not sure how well known he is throughout the state. But there really hasn't been talk about him, not much on tv about him either. I know he said he is going to run for Governor. He is on the boring side, not much personality. I probably should look around and see if there are any videos of him debating clinton from years ago.
I saw something about that on one of the basher blogs and they linked to the filing with the Alaska Secretary of State's office so it appears to be true. I thought it was curious as well but I'm sure it all makes perfect sense. Her detractors would like us to think it's some kind of front for funneling PAC money to Bristol, and I got a good chuckle out of that. Yes, the most scrutinized woman in America is going to do something patently illegal/unethical right out there in the open for all to see. Somehow, I doubt it.
Bristol strikes me as a real go-getter like her mom, and she does things her own way. I'm sure there has been "interest" in her as a potential public speaker, author or whatever. It makes sense that if she is getting offers like this that she would want to shield her earnings, esp. in light of the custody suit getting underway. Just some thoughts.
Yeah, I'm wondering that too. I don't know what I'm hoping she'll do. If Brown was pro-life, it would be a no-brainer I think.
The terrorists smiled and laughed by Obambi won.
Hee! That reminds me of the interview Bristol did with Greta out of the blue last year (and to the surprise of her mother, apparently). Sarah was sitting in while Greta was asking her about how she told her parents she was pregnant and she relayed the story of how she made her best friend say it because she couldn't get the words out. Greta asked her, "Who were you more afraid of telling, your mom or your dad?" and without even a moment's hesitation, Bristol said, "Oh, definitely my mom." ;o)

Very interesting read from the Today Show this morning.
Dana Perino vs Anita Dunn (yes, that Anita Dunn)
I loved that Dana Perino said that the Administration has a communication problem these days while appearing with the former Communications Director of the White House. Delicious.
I read elsewhere that Brown once posed nude many years ago. Someone suggested that she would appear hypocritical if she supported Brown, yet criticized the one-whom-I-never-name for doing the same thing. That just something else that may factor in her decision.
I have no idea.
Wow. What a line up. I have seen Rudy speak, he is a must see. Adding Sarah, what a day...
Ok thanks PEC.
bwahahaha
IF Sarah used Bristol for PR or had PR individuals hired and paid money to Bristol's Company for Political Consultants it is very legal. Heck Sarah could pay Bristol for Political Advise and it would be legal. That said I could see Sarah hire Bristol for advise (mindset of younger voters) but big money would be more likely toward a top notch adviser that Sarah does not want people to know she is getting advice from. Sarah wants a successful part in shaping our Nation, not throwing good money after bad.
She shouldn't be too harsh...Dana was hit and miss and some would say more miss than hit herself.
Lisa Murkowski is pro-choice and it is not a deal breaker for Sarah. This is Mass. so if he is against the more radical forms of abortion it can be accepted. As for as the pictures maybe a point except she also is willing to accept in the person not to be named if they change their ways. Sarah knows people grow up. Sarah knows there are things she did in her early 20s (not to this extreme) that she would do today. I back Sarah's judgement either way on this.
actually rachel maddow got it correct- i know who would have thought- llc is just the type of entity one would use if they expected to get paid for services from a variety of sources. by the way it costs basically nothing to form and there is no telling if she has actually put the company to any use at all
Nevertheless, much hay will be made of the fact by her opponents to make it appear she would be doing something unseemly. And they would probably get some mileage out of it, sad to say. There are many activities that are legal but that still could create an appearance of impropriety. Sarah doesn't need any more bad press. Besides, it doesn't strike me as something Sarah would do. When people accused her of cheating because she was taking her kids with her all over the state and not paying for their travel expenses she happily ponied up the money even tho -- if memory serves -- it was deemed to be probably within the parameters of the law.
Shouldn't be too harsh?
I believe Perino was stating what most Americans believe in that the Obama Administration has a message problem regarding the War on Terror.
One day it was an isolated attack (per Obama at a press conference). The next day the "system worked" (per Janet Napolitano). The day after that, the system failed (Sunday talk show spin). Yesterday was another new message from Obama. They are completely inept and since Dunn left, they still are spinning their wheels because terrorism is not the priority it should be.
Where is the latest update from the White House on the terrorist attack on the military base? I haven't heard one damn thing about that in weeks. Instead we keep hearing all the BS about Health Care from the Dems and the Administration.
I would rather have President Palin, with that look on her face, sitting across from Putin, than having President Obama bowing to Putin, any day of the week, and twice on Sunday.
That look wouldn't get lost in translation.
Hi Nancy,
Good morning!! heh heh
