Democrat Party Continues War on Rasmussen/Open Thread (Update: Check out the Tweet from K-Lo)
-Give Taegen Goodard credit for citing the poll showing Governor Palin's positive rating in Alaska effectively rebounding to where it was pre-resignation. Any political journalist that cited the poll conducted by this polling entity after her resignation ought to cite this one as well. They also ought to point out that this pollster has been identified by pollster.com and the NY Times as a pollster affiliated with the Democrat party in the past.
-Arkansas political blogger Jason Tolbert has provided a further update on the alleged and unconfirmed fundraiser for the Arkansas Republican Party in February:
At the risk of repeating myself, I want to clear up some inaccuracies floating around cyberspace on the Palin Arkansas event. According to my sources, the Palin event has not been finalized or cancelled. An excited insider posted the details on Facebook before the ink was dry on the event. Everyone I talked to still expects Palin to come to Arkansas but all the details have not yet been worked out.-Congratulations to Nick Ayers and the Republican Governor's Association for raising a record amount of money this past year. I also like the equivalence that Mike Memoli seems to draw in the article:
Again, the event is not cancelled; it is just being finalized. Official announcement should be coming soon.
Both parties had support from major surrogates. President Obama held a DC fundraiser for the DGA in October. Former Gov. Sarah Palin has urged her Facebook fans to donate to the RGA, and also offered signed copies of her new book to committee backers.-Obama voter Ann Althouse predicts that Obama will not run for re-election. According to Steve Lombardo, his average approval/disapproval rating from public and private polls is 49/46.
-Rasmussen will be the first pollster to take a stab at assessing where the race for the open Senate seat in Massachusetts stands. The Democrat Party is already trying to discredit whatever Rasmussen will release. The narrative from the radical left-wing is that the reason why Rasmussen is so accurate at the end is because he changes his methodology 45 days before an election.
Update: K-Lo from the National Review tweets the following:
marco rubio has a sarah palin streak http://twitpic.com/uzw4fUpdate #2: Chris Cilizza from the Washington Post says that Palin's showing in the recent Gallup poll regarding the most-admired woman in America is "a testament to the rapidity of her rise on the national stage." He also finds Iowa Congressman Steve King's praise of Palin "so interesting."

Interesting article on Power and hypocrisy.

Well I hear that oblamo is back in Washington.....should make us feel safer that he plans to address national security.......glad I won't be flying for quite sometime........maybe even 3 years......on other news.....the global cooling has hit South Louisiana......when I went out this afternoon, it was snowing......temps in the mid 30's and will get into the twenties tonight....I just may have to turn on the heat....it's getting a bit chilly in here.....more rain mixed with snow forecast.......brrr, guess all that pretending I did on Alaska Day was just a warm up (no pun intended) for today......maybe, I shopuld pretend I'm on a beach in shorts sipping a Mai Tai......
The headline could have been "Lefty's Continue War on Reality. NY/DC/Hollywood Shrinks Predict Industry-wide Boom".
What do they think about Zogby's numbers??
They should be happy! O ran on Hope and Change. Now everyone hopes for a change. He kept his promise.

Now now now... let's not. Let's not. Not even... ahh.. umm..
wow. jus tdon't know what to say to that one. Lol I guess??

You know what's interesting about Althouse's prediction? My mom has been saying for months that she doesn't think Obama would run for reelection. If that were to happen he would be the first president since LBJ to decide not to run for reelection.
Another thing I notice on the sidebar that Shuster the Muppit (credit to Nancy on this one) went after Brit Hume for his comments regarding Tiger becoming more Christian. How dare that little puke go after Hume? He could never even hold a candle to Brit. Hey David maybe you should remember one of the lessons your parents taught you...RESPECT YOUR ELDERS!
I believe Quinnepac had same numbers today as Rasmussen.
Vicki,
The last Quinnpiac poll I see is from December 29th. Perhaps you are thinking about Gallup?
Ener Stage Right's Person of the Year is......Sarah Palin......second year in a row
http://www.enterstageright.com/archive/articles/0110/0110personyear.htm
I can see O not running too actually. It all depends on whether the people who run him think he's got more mileage left in him, or if he gets too tired (he's been looking like this "president gig" is becoming a drag).
Saw that story about Brit on AOL. They think what he said will bury him. It'll do just the opposite.
The worms turning all across the board I think.
I have never had a more liberal professor than the one I have this semester!
Wow... He slamed Sarah in the first five minutes lol. It's a good thing my skin is thick because he is dumping on Christianity too. Wow this is just woooow.
Pray that I can keep my mouth shut haha
What's the class?
Okay Charter!!!! Today is the Day!
LET'S GO SMURFS! Kick some TEXAS Booty!
(Please nobody get offended and threaten to leave...it's just a Football Game!) ;)
I said it the other day, entitlement is terminal.
I think that Hillary will challenge Obama for the nomination in 2012, just like when Kennedy challenged Carter for the nomination in 1980, but I think she has to leave Obama soon. I think the 2012 election will be very similar to the 1980 election. There was a more liberal republican named John Anderson, who was a congressman from Illinois, who didn't get the GOP bid so ran as an independent. He represented the anti-Reagan vote for the elites in the GOP who despised Reagan. He only got 5% of the vote. The question is who will be the John Anderson of 2012?
Interesting questiton you pose Lipstick. I think they would still hate her because she would still have too many kids according to them, not to mention being a female conservative, absolutely unacceptable to the left, much like it was an abberation to the left that Clarence Thomas was a black conservative. But I think the hate would be a little less intense if Trig was not a Down Syndrome child.
Political science. I go to cal state Fullerton.
George Soros and his cohorts on the Far Left will not allow Obama to bow out. In addition Obama has too much faith in his own abilities to hoodwink the "suckers" and in ACORN to fix the election.
Hey FYI... Chuck Heath will be on Eddie today. Kbyr changed his schedule...to add Dr. Laura...UGH!
Please!
He is on from 4-6pm AK time.

I posted this in last night's thread in a failed attempt to get the subject off you-know-who. I am posting it again because I think it is a must watch:
<span>Here is Michael Scheuer on CNN's State of the Union he is with "Journalist" Gloria Borger who recently spent 2 1/2 hours with Obama in the White House.
<span>http://www.cnn.com/video/#/video/politics/2010/01/03/sotu.scheuer.last.word.cnn?iref=allsearch</span>
It is really good I recommend watching it.</span>
Read a book called 'Shop class as soulcraft' don't recall the author. Anyway, what's your major?
One of the more interesting points Scheuer makes is that Yemen is an Al-Qaeda country through and through. The current president of Yemen (his name is Sallah I believe) was put into power by Al-Qaeda during Yemen's civil war in the 1990's.
Arrrrrgh me maties....methinks the polls smell blood in the water. "Barracuda" is ready to strike in 2010.
I know the Republican Rankings by AKReport are projections based on several variables but if you look at the map at the web site where Sarah is strong in-the South and the Mid-west you will notice except for Florida in the South and Illinois in the mid-west, Romney has not placed 1st or 2nd in any of the projections and this leads me to the cornerstone of any Palin candidacy, that she polls strongest in the states that the GOP is MORE LIKELY TO WIN in 2012 and as long as she maintains her strength there, Romney will not be able to catch her in delegates. The only hope for Romney is if Huckabee can cut into Palin's strength in her strongholds and weaken her delegate strength or to win southern or mid-west states in close 3 way contests. Of the latter, that strategy is so unpredictable-but hey what's $50m to Romney?
And if Palin cuts into Romney's strength in Colorado, Arizona and Nevada that could be the coup de grace for Mitt.
Sweet, I'll check it out later over amazon. My major is communications but my area of study is advertising.
A big part of the hatred is the fact that Trig was ever born. He exposes the lie that the left are compassionate people who care. Bernie Goldberg said pretty much the same thing. Jon Stewart's brilliant response to that was Go f*** yourself. Stewart's reaction was due in part to the fact that Goldberg had touched a nerve, Stewart knew he was telling the truth.
I think Hillary already owns too much of this administration to be viable. She's all aboard for Cap & Tax and the 1st crack at Obama Care and "Death Panels" was Hillary Care. She's also running around as Secretary of State as he apologizes and undermines her with Czars, etc. If she's got a problem with this, she's not saying much about it. If she does, it's just hearsay so far.
I think the challenge, if there is one, will come from a different quarter. They're all tarnished and damaged by this street agitator though.
Thinking that Obama is not going to run for re-election in 2012 is like thinking Hitler wasn't going to invade Czechoslovakia after the Munich Agreement. It's called wishful thinking and as Winston Churchill referred to this mindset as misguided in 1938, anyone who does not learn from history in the present is more than misguided, they are delusional.
My suggestion to the anti-Obama forces: keep your eye on the ball to destroy Obama and the Far Left, never underestimate their ability to deceive and manipulate us but instead be prepared to never let your guard down and to fight to the death to take America back.
Burn your bridges! Don't look back in the rearview mirror! He who hesitates loses!
Here's something interesting:
The Obama Disconnect: What Happens When Myth Meets Reality
http://techpresident.com/blog-entry/the-obama-disconnect
It's about how 0bama's internet army is fading away.
Organizing for America was always a sham. It never really did exist on the ground, it was another of the smoke and mirrors and hype that was part and parcel of 0bamaland.
Did they get a jump on 2010?:)
So, you're seeing the "educated" (say it in a Thurston Howell the III voice, to get the full effect), be as dumb as a box of rocks. Up close and personal! Be gentle with him, when you can't stand it anymore.:)
I've always thought that the only thing Huck could do is be a spoiler. After what happened in Washington though, I think his ability to do that is greatly diminished. The uproar might have died down for now, but it's there.
All of her potential rivals have fatal flaws for the primaries! Health Care is a noose around Mitten's neck, T'Paw's got problems with Cap n Tax, Newt's got NY 23 and other things--I wouldn't trade Sarah's position for anyones--and it's getting stronger! The "zeitgeist's" with her (I actually used that word. Uh-oh).
Also, Slick Willie was chastising the dems for dallying on healthcare, saying there would never be another opportunity like this. Blech!
Yes Patrick, another interesting tidbit Scheuer revealed was that one of the 8 CIA agents who was killed was the man who arranged for the operation in the late 90's that would have captured or killed Bin Laden.
Ironically John Brennan, the man who was defending Obama's policies when it comes to terrorism was the man who aborted the operation at the last minute, his reasoning was that Saudi Arabia could handle Bin Laden.
It is my experience that some professors say outrageous things on the first day to thin the class. It may depend on whether there is a bonus related to enrollment.
Actually, I don't think he will run again because it is too much work to be President. And you only have to be in office one term and be set for life; health care, pension, etc. He will not ever have to pretend to work again. So, why run?
My comments on week 17 in the NFL as it relates to politics:
1) Teams like Cincinnati, Arizona and Indianapolis who tanked their games remind of me of the advice that someone like Mitt Romney would have decided to do if he ran or coached a football team. Mitt doesn't care a hoot about the integrity of the conservative movement and only in advancing his own cause and protecting his rear end.
In contrast Sarah Palin would have played to win the game, to protect the integrity of the game and because she believes you should not enter the arena if you do not plan to win.
2) By doing so Mitt is also the type of person who believes in micromanaging all the variables, especially his game plan, that go into winning not admitting that competition is dynamic and hundreds of factors go into winning and losing; in contrast Sarah Palin is she were a playoff coach would tell her players to play hard, to play with intelligence and limit your mistakes, and to play for the full 60 minutes and there is nothing more you can do. Whatever happens, happens.
3) And Mitt Romney is the type of coach who would coach by the book not to lose the game itself rather than to play to win the game. He would be extremely reluctant to gamble on 4th and 1 and punt the ball away so the other team could make a first down and run out the clock.
And he would end up losing the game with the MSM commenting on technically sound a coach he is.
And Sarah would gamble on 4th down, relying on her players to get the job done, as she would rely on the GOTV efforts of her side to get the voters to the polls and especially having faith that her team would prevail.
No, I don't think Hillary will challenge Obama; she is too much of a 'team player" or as some would say a**kisser or brown nose. She will not rock the Democratic Party boat. But if he doesn't run, I say she may try for it again.
Hey Nancy!
I almost forgot to tell you, there is this guy who works at my college who looks almost exactly like Newman! I guess I could have tried to get a picture of him, but I think he would have found it inappropriate.
Heard at a party in DC over the Holidays.
Howard: What do you think we can do about Sarah?
John: Well, her hair stylist bill should be an issue! That book tour where she was "just one of the folks", how much you bet she spent on hair with all that wind, snow, rain, etc.?
Mike: I think we should look at the pardon of that turkey in Alaska. Pardon a turkey and another gets it in the background, that should be an issue!
Al: Her energy policy, of course. How much energy did she spend on that bus (and private jet) during her book tour? And can't we even calcuate the carbon footprint of the trees killed and the people that traveled miles and miles to see her!
Mitt: Healthcare is the answer. How about those folks in nursing homes in AK that were in waiting lines in her administration?
David: Trust me folks, her name doesn't even come up in any of our meetings!
Rahm: Oh can it, Ax, her name comes up in most meetings!
Hillary: (Has been quietly listening and finally speaks): I'm having coffee with Sarah next week!
ALL: Gulp!!
LOL!!
As a Hillary voter, I completely agree with you. She is now tainted with all this marxist and socialist crap. THis is why I wish she would stay out, but I cannot respect her anymore. IF she runs, I will NOT be voting or fundraising for her. And trust me, I fundraised a LOT of money for her thru my friends and business associates. She and Gates are the most qualified out of all this loser bunch, BUT I will not support her should she un again.
All that money and effort will go towards Sarah now.
Okay so who are the Smurfs?
NANCY @ 1634 HRS,
No, it's for 2009
Good luck with that class!
I had a reallllly preachy liberal teacher in high school. I would bring books by conservative authors and read them during class when she was on her soap box. I kept my ear open just enough to know when she was saying something worth while.
I cannot picture Obama bowing out gracefully in 2012.
I think he will put up a nasty chicago-esqu fight.
Is this one of those Arugala questions?....
<span>Is this one of those Arugula questions?....</span>
Boise State....Turf Smurfs!
LOL! I bet you must just smile from ear to ear, when you see him!
Hello Newman! must fly through your head!
<span>Boise State....Smurf Turf! </span>

<span>O/T LGF used to have a popular “award” they would give out.The fiskie/idiotarian award(for an idiot working against our best wishes…Carter and Mikey Moore were among the winners.)And the Fallaci/Anti-idiotarian award, for someone good/heroic.He stopped doing them the last cpl years(we can see why now),but theblogmocracy.com(formerly LGF2.0) is resurrecting them .If youre registered(and why not?Its a good, growing blog coming into its own) you can vote. http://www.theblogmocracy.com/2010/01/01/the-fiskie-no/ I picked obama for the idiotarian, and the tea partiers for the anti-idiotarian...but Sarah would be an excellent choice as well. The nominations are being picked thru tomorrow night, then the winner will be picked over the next 4 days.A fun thing that could catch on,while giving CJ the finger at the same time. ; )</span>
Bill O'Reilly says the Underwear Bomber has lawyered up and is not talking to anyone. Why didn't they let me interrogate him before he got to the lawyer?
Damn it!
Is Ann Althouse a nutcase? I thought she was.
It will be interesting to see which one of his characteristics or weighing of options wins out.
His ego.
His laziness.
His desire to be a tv star.
His love of the White House vegetable garden.
His inability to stand to look at Joe Biden a minute longer. (Do not discount this con in his thought process! I know it is hard for me to look at him, and I only see him a few times a year.)
His craving to sit and chat with Dave Letterman.
What else, anybody got any more?
Awesome avatar! I have been a 24 junkie lately, so Im borrowing your idea. :)
Nah, they shouldve let Agent S interrogate. Heavens knows she would get the truth out faster.
I was a microbio major in undergrad so I didn't take many social science classes. I did take a 20th century US history class, and when we discussed Reagan, the professor said that Reagan was the worst president ever. He said only evangelicals, the wealthy, and military people supported Reagan, then he showed the electoral breakdown. Yeah, that didn't match up. During this semester, Bush starting sending troops to Iraq. He blasted that daily.
The Professor has the right to have his own opinions, but as a history professor, he should teach what happened, and let the students decide whether or not those were good events or policies.
It gave a whole new meaning to liberal arts education.
Stay strong, and share your thoughts, facts, and opinions with respect! :)
How about the pressure from the people who have been funding his political superstardom?
or the chance to make Michelle proud of her country for a second time?
He may bow, but not gracefully.
Did anyone see the interview with Scott Brown on the kudlow report? I did not see it, but my cousin in MA said he stated healthcare is a right............... not good at all if that is what he stated.
I'm doing all I can to change the Illinois. Of course, most of us in Illinois don't know how to vote. Look at who we elect for Senate and Governor!
Hillary can not beat Obama without the black vote. Majority of the black vote would be angry with Hillary challenging Obama. Count me out, my family and I are Palin voters...even voted for her in 2008.
PatrickinOH... I live in Michigan, it is the top story everyday. He did lawyer up and now they are talking plea bargain... seriously, can't make this stuff up.
Tommy Palin is at 55/33 not 55/41 http://www.pollster.com/blogs/ak_palin_hays_112021.php
Yes I do Nancy! You know what's weird? The shirt I wore today is a dark blue shirt with a picture of Newman that says Hello Newman!
O'Reilly can't get his mind around the fact that these guys are <span>ideaologues</span> . I think it scares him. When Newt pointed this out, he cut him off.
Do your homework Bill! Read their bio's! You're becoming like Larry King who says he never reads the newspapers.
Pollster.com made a mistake but I don't feel the need to correct them, heh heh.
;)
Hume on Fire! He's not backing off an inch--way ta go Brit!
Thanks! I like you avatar too ellen!...Or should I call you Agent Walker?
<span>Thanks! I like you avatar too ellen!...Or should I call you Agent Walker?</span>
sandra, that's an idiotic response.
Good night everyone, I'm so sorry that I "vented". I should have realized that it was not a place for here.
Vent away! There's no place that's not a place for venting (that's the Italian side of me speaking)
Thanks for the info Shar61. Its good to hear that it is a topic of discussion in your state.
Hey I was just thinking...maybe I could break him out of jail just to get him alone so that I can interrogate him! Someone has to get the answers out of him! The American people will support what I do, accordsing to Rasmussen 58% of Americans want him to be waterboarded!
Emily,
If you ever feel the need to vent, please do. It's just fine. We're here for you.
Emily, Bauer here, you don't have to apologize for anything. Keep venting, don't bottle up your true feelings!
HA-HA!
To those who think that Obama will be a pushover come 2012 think again. He is going to go down fighting and it's going to get nasty.
"Early to bed, early to rise, work like hell and advertise!" Ted Turner
I went to college. A couple of times. It was apparent that many professors were interested in teaching what to think, as opposed to how to think. Now I get to teach people how to think. It's a dying art.
Chastising dems, or chasing dames?
They're a bunch of lazy s#%ts.
Hmmm...According to the FOX News ticker, Hawaii Rep Neil Abercrombie is resigning to devote more time to running for Governor of Hawaii. Doesn't that make him a quitter?
<p><span>Yea, BOR is sorely lacking these days.<span> </span>The answer is really simple. Obama, Holder, et al, naively believe that closing GITMO and trying terrorist in our courts and bestowing upon them same rights as American citizens will “</span><span>reset</span><span><span>” our image in the eyes of the world and by consequence will cause the terrorists to play nice.<span> </span>But as we learned on Christmas day, the panty bomber proved otherwise.<span> </span></span></span></p>
Well I wouldn't expect dead people to know how to vote.
Althouse is simply pushing that angle because she is a Hillary fan and hopes she replaces Obama.
THAT is what all that is about.
Obama and Biden both technically resigned from the Senate to take their new roles as did Hillary and several governors.
It just is inconsequential if you're a democrat who wants to take a different government job.
I agree. Brit was actually just giving Tiger some helpful advice. Tiger doesn't have to take it. Christianity is the religion of redemption because of its connection to the Father(Creator) via the Son. It so matches the God-hole in us.
I bet she endorses Rubio and times it for max effect. She won't trash Crist because he campaigned for her and McCain and although she knows he only did that because he is mcCains buddy, she follows reagans commandent and will not trash a republican unless he really really deserves it. If crist ever tried to say anything bad about her, hed taste the nightstick.
I would take him on and have so much fun doing it. I'm actually thinking of going back to college some day as a Political Science major just to irritate libs. Talk about paradise.
My daughter is a graduate of Cal State Fullerton. Nice school. She had two years at Arizona State and then came back to California to finish and get her degree.
Not true Sandra. They actually BELIEVE the idiocy. I had two in particular in college and they were batsh*t crazy, I kid you not.
LOL!!
<p><span><span>Just more proof that Obama’s “reset” is proving to be utterly naĆÆve and deadly catastrophic:<span> </span></span></span><span>A reformed Jihadi</span><span><span>?<span> </span></span></span>

Has anyone address the email business? I just got in. The Alaska Dispatch has a bunch of Palin emails posted and Gawker is using to trumpet how Palin used personal email for state business (something that's not against the law, but everyone seems to think it is).
YES!
I can...I have always thought he wouldn't run for a second term right after he seemed to like all the frills and hand clapping of being a president, but not the hard work and he knows he is not capable of making a difficult decisions.
People, let's try and ignore the Trig Truther amongst us. I think of her as a ghost that haunts C4P. She may be here, but I do not see her. She may speak, but I do not hear her. Just every once in a while I get a chill down my spine.
10 words or phrases that symbolize for me the cultural DECADENCE of America:
1) AMORAL thoughts and behavior: not concerned with MORAL JUDGMENTS or caring about good behavior or morals; lacking moral sensibility, lying outside the sphere in which moral judgments apply; outside of the customs or moral order
If there is one key to the proliferation of DECADENCE it is exemplified in The Usual Suspects by a character who refers to the Devil's greatest trick of convincing the world he did not exist.
And the devotion by Leftist writers, filmmakers, playwrights, actors, academics and Democrats to convert Americans, especially younger Americans, to embrace AMORAL thoughts and behavior as a legitimate and a disparate way of living within conventional society is an offshoot of this idea. Guilt is considered superfluous or irrelevant in one's casual pursuit of carnal pleasure or individual self-fulfillment.
The post-WWII intelligentsia of the Far Left in formulating its plans for a new world order based on socialist Utopianism knew in order to gain power it had to corrode the American moral order of God first, country second, family third and individual needs fourth and instead flip it around to where the individual focused mostly on himself, his family second, his country third and then to God. It doesn't take a genius to figure out if a person is given impetus or license to focus on himself and Narcissistic pursuits primarily and in turn is encouraged to give short shrift to his family, country and God, AMORAL thoughts and behavior will reign supreme in a person's life. And if millions of Americans follow the same path, you have before you the seeds of American DECADENCE.
2) NO FAULT DIVORCE
From Wikipedia:
"No-fault divorce was pioneered by the Bolsheviks following the Russian Revolution of 1917...it originated in the USA in Calfornia in 1970."
"...without requiring the petitioner to provide evidence that the respondent has committed a breach of the marital contract. Laws providing for no-fault divorce also limit the potential legal defenses of a respondent who would prefer to remain married."
"Prior to the no-fault divorce revolution in the USA, a divorce could be obtained only through a showing of fault of one of the parties in a marriage."
COMMENT:
Again the emphasis is to denying the existence of individual guilt and sanctioning casual relationships. And to boot guess who financially benefits the most financially from no-fault divorce: Leftist divorce lawyers who support the Democrats.
A post on the "front page" adressing this would be nice.
It's not naivete.
a little late with the flag, but since i went through the hassle of changing my avatar i'm going to post it. so there.
BOR just throws those type of tid-bits out to make his audience think he isn't totally against OBAMA. He will do and say anything to keep his ratings highs so he has to throw those type of things out when he can for his audience that still think OBAMA is OK.
Dems to bypass tradition in final healthcare bill, gop will be barred from conference committee. reid pelosi and white house to be make up of committee. What do you want to bet the final vote will be an unannounced midnight vote.
oh, yeah. forgot to say how much that twitpic from rubio with the delicious pig hanging brought back pleasant memories.
upstate new york........hog roasting over a fire. uncles playing dominoes and drinking rum.
Bill: I've been a college professor and have sat through discussions on how to reduce the size of a class. It is not "idiotic."
Msn has story that RNC has major money shotage unable to fund canidates in 2010 election. Do you think Sarahpac has had a big impact on RNC donations.
I'm not saying they don't believe these things but that they may state the most divisive statements up front to get a class that goes along with their line of thinking.
May I ask where in upstate New York panchita? I have a lot of relatives who live in the Catskills region.
YEP!!
Sad but true. I work with some and Obama could walk out on a stage pull out a machete, cut somebodies head off, wave it around and they would fault the individual for being on stage with Obama. He can do no wrong to them.
<p><span><span>The AK court already ruled on it and said Gov. Palin did nothing wrong. If someone is leaking private emails they should be arrested and charges filed. The Alaska AG should get involved.<span><span></span></span></span></span></p>
Agree that Hillary and Gates are only competent Secretaries Obama has. The problem is Obama will blame Hillary for any Foreign Affairs that went wrong. WIll say she is not a team player and she never offered help. She is tainted for doing what was write. HEck remember the one incident where Hillary had to talk sense into Obama as he went days sitting on his hands doing nothing and we HAD to make a statement. HE was listening to his useless Czars.
Lemme know where you're goin'. I'll go too!
Sarah would take the field and never look back. Her players would hit hard and make their tackles. The fundamentals would be there and they would function as a team. Few mistakes, ferocious spirited play. Her inspiration would drive the team like the Gipper at the hospital bed asking for one more win from Rockne & Co.
Her Feydakin are growing in number every day, and in Iowa they will meet like the Fremen in Dune mustering with the greatest number of 'worm-sign' in history. The humble little gal from Wasilla will level political mountains with one word: FREEDOM!
Is the Pope Catholic?
They are out there. Get your passing grade and go on.
Rep Peter King from NY is rethinking his decision to not run against Gillibrand for the Senate seat. I think this is a good thing, King is infinetely more conservative than Rudy is!
Story and emails here - http://alaskadispatch.com/dispatches/politics/3484-palin-personal-emails
They were close just a little more. I think 49-46.
My God! If he said that then I'm giving the RNC $100 for NOT supporting the guy. Thanks Michael Steele. However, let's hope Brown did not say that.
Anybody for asking MA to leave the Union?
I agree with Techno. The far left is all-in (poker talk) with Obama. For him not to run would show they are totally defeated.
Brit is a Palin man, like Todd.
True, but that 900K to Scozzofava, endorsement of Crist and Specter, probably did a little to sink their fundraising. I'm kind of glad she wasn't caught vouching for these hacks, surprisingly they've
only ponied up 50K for Brown
I wonder if she also realizes that Crist was arguably the most responsible for her becoming the VP nominee and everything that followed from that.
It was Crist's endorsement that won FL for McCain. He was close with Romney and everyone on the conservative side jumped behind Romney in a last ditch effort to stop McCain. You had the Limbaugh's, Hannity's, Levin's, Beck's, etc... all pumping up Romney. But Crist's support and especially his machine and network in and around the Tampa area proved to be the difference in the race. Once McCain won FL the nomination was decided.
If Romney had won he never would have picked Palin and who knows where things would stand today. So, she may not want to torpedo Crist knowing that he played a big role in what happened to her. Also, Crist may very well still end up winning and being the next Senator and FL will no doubt play a huge role in 2012 as well. You don't want to come out against him, see him win, and then find yourself on the wrong end a few years down the road.
I think the best thing for her to do in that race is to say that it's up to the voters in FL, maybe say some boilerplate stuff about how she supports the candidates that have the right stands on the issues. Then, once a primary winner emerges, support him.
I may flip wyoming to romney since it's the establishment who choses the winner in that state, and not the voters.
Who would give money to the RNC...after the O'ScussyFava race???
Mmmmm... Delicious pig. The official meat of the war on Islamofascism!
LOL! Love it cookboy!
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wyoming_Republican_caucuses,_2008
Umm....I think the only response to that is...
You betcha!
Hmm let's see...Frum, Brooks, Parker, and Noonan.
I AGREE!
Sarah vs. Obama will be a titanic struggle for the soul of the country. STATISM vs. LIBERTY, SLAVERY vs. FREEDOM, DARKNESS vs. LIGHT, EVIL vs. GOOD.
It will be incredibly dramatic because we are at the precipice. We are inches from falling into a period of darkness for a thousand years.
The sacrifice on our side needed to win will be unbelievable in money, time, work, low-sleep, broken friendships, etc.
I wouldn't want to be anywhere else in human history than to participate in the historical struggle of 2010 thru 2012.
I long for the crisp clean chill air on Jan. 20th 2013 as a smile forms on my face, with my 10-year old son tossing a rose Piper's way, as the crowd begins the chant "Sarah! Sarah! Sarah!". The humble little one with the servant's heart addresses 'my fellow Americans, the coming years will be years of liberty over tyranny'.
She is the sister we are so proud of and thankful that our country can still produce such selfless servants who really understand what makes America the greatest country in the history of mankind.
Hmmm...13 Attorney Generals are ready to take to task...Ben "The FRAUD" Nelson and I see our Attorney General is a willing participant! I do like that man...I wish he would run for higher office! Great Interview Greta...Thanks! Did I tell you how much I like our Attorney General?
Great news. I was kinda bummed Rudy decided not to run.
about one and a half hours from NYC.
I sent TWO pieces of RNC mail back with $0 in the amount and "I trust Sarah." written on the form.
Thanks AKReport. Very interesting. I did not know that before.
My grandma will be so happy about this...she is a little old Catholic Italian lady, very pro-life.
I am Talking about Intelligent People???...
Your're making reference to a Party List...Let me rephrase...Invitation to a Blow by Blow for you.. cocktail party...
I called my AG on Christmas Eve and asked if he was going to challenge it. I'm not expecting much from him.
nelson is pinning his hopes on voters short term memory. dick morris pointed out tonite that the era of the "conservative" democrat is over. either your a republican or a flaming liberal democrat (i may have taken some liberties when quoting).
either way i agree. ben nelson is history.
SOmewhat but I believe after the NY23 Fiasco, individuals decided they would give to individual candidates not RNC, RNCC, RNSC etc. I think SARAHPAC will do OK but I have no unrealistic expectations. She will have enough and then some to support candidates she likes. Example after Joe Wilson's "You Lie" the Democrats tried to use it to raise money for the candidate against him and he ended up almost doubling the money of the Democrat. I don't have the money but if I did I believe I would look at who Sarah supports and give money to that candidate. To a smaller degree I will give some to ones she supports. I will not give a dime to the "R"s.
He does not want this DeathCare, or cap n tax. At this point he is the 41th vote AGAINST this socialist agenda. Please consider this, and donate to his camp.
Martha Coakley has vowed to vote for DeathCare no matter what is in it, Scott Brown has vowed to vote against it. I will be donating to Scott Brown, and I am begging that you all do the same!
Ben Nelson = Morto
The great Brit Hume tonite reaffirming his desire that tiger woods find Jesus Christ and that through Christianiity you could find true redemption. Brit further went on to state that it would be obvious to the public if Tiger truly transformed his life. Like charles Colson (watergate....now a born again Christian). It was very inspirational.
South Carolina's AG led the way. I am telling you I really have mixed feelings for Lyndsey Graham. Sure he leaves the reservation some of the time but if you know South Carolina Politics it was his staff with Jim Demints that did the leg work and gave the SC AG the info to file this. When Graham is off he is off but when he is on He is Strong. I now live in Georgia but was raised in SC. The odd thing is SC is population wise less than 1/2 of Georgia's but Georgia always has the worse Senators. Chambliss and Isakson do nothing but rob oxygen and the State Gov is not much better.
Our Attorney General is also participating in that.
Our AG was running against Sen Bob "I love Obama" Bennett but had to drop out because his daughter is sick. I think he actually would have pushed the Rino to the max and might have pulled it out and won.
Dang. I hope those A.G.'s really follow through and push it. Nelson's in trouble.
Here's the Deal...I always know where a Democrat stands...
I never know where a Republican stands...
With exception of... Sarah Palin...
I always know What Sarah Palin Stands for!
Lindsey Graham???...YIKES!!!!
What if people just want out? There should not be accusations aired in public. The children have enough to go through without having to prove one parent is at fault.
Graham is an odd character, sometimes he does unbelievably crazy things like support cap n trade, and then he slams Holder, and provides the backbone for this initiative. THen again who can say, with these folks,
I saw Sanford at CPAC and I saw him deliver a bland boilerplate speech that no one acknowledged, who would have guessed he would crash and burn just a few months later
Let's see. I learned that one last night.
Death right?
These are from Bitney (do the math). If that is all they have this is the biggest waste of time I ever saw. Good grief. These E-Mails are nothing. HEck they are little more than private. The reson you don't have such trivial things from previous Governors is they were not competent enough with E-Mail and rarely used it.

Crist is 100% RINO. Sarah will back the conservative - Rubio.
OK. I did a little research and I somewhat agree with Tommy Report that the New Old User is not RAM. A couple of the things New Old User said was not RAM like (too much defense of Celtic Diva). I think I know who it is and all I have to say is that person is playing with fire. These individuals are PURE evil. Nothing more nothing less. Talking with a Moore, Diva etc they will sound nice and personal but Satan tries to deceive in the same manner. Any defense of this crew shows they are a good person but are walking right into a trap that Satan has set for them.
Hey Beehive...Rough Day???...No worries mate...I came up with some attributes...
Good Mom...Loyal...Humorous...Compassionate...Trust worthy...A Grilled Cheese Cuisine Chef... :)
DEAD...YEP!!
LOL!!!!..
LOL!
I know sounds weird, but I swear one minute I feel like choking him and the next (ie Holder) he hits a Grand Slam. Demint is the better fit for South Carolina but Graham is Strong when it is his stregths.
Don't go there Mia.
13 AGs. I'm guessing not the IL one?
Mia...
Don't.go.there.
hahaha
...hehehe...+
Emily. We are family. We are always here for you. If you are ever down and need friends you know if you go to C4P there will be somebody here to cheer you up. I am convinced with the time zones this site is pretty much active 24 hours.
Kjan,
I still like the Stanley Fish review better.
Guess it's all that global warming that they are talking about LOL!
Sarah 2012!
A big thumbs up on all of those Mia! Especially the last one...mmmmm.
Lipstick must have her tri's on...
What a Kissie face... ;)
Did you hear that a reporter in Hawaii asked Obama if he wanted to go back to DC?
His answer (probably the truth): "No"
Then FLOTUS responded that she wanted to stay in Hawaii, too, and that she was trying to "mount a coup."
What a lovely couple.
I'm glad they can joke around about the great honor it is to serve as president and first lady, and crack smart about "coups" ....
TOTAL.LACK.OF.CLASS.
Mia
You really are a good person. I know I can count on you for anything.
Hey those attributes sound good. I like the Cuisine Chef one. I actually used my new cookware yesterday.
Thanks my friend.
You..are...awesome!
I actually like the emails themselves. The issue I wanted addressed is that they're dredging up the line that Sarah shouldn't have been using her email accounts again. Not to mention they'll try and use some of the content, but I personally like the emails.
My mom just started reading Going Rogue a few days ago. I think she is near page 100. She loves Sarah and supports her all the way. But she felt a little insulted about the part when her mom decided to leave the Catholic Church because she "wanted more." I told her she shouldn't feel that way. I said being a Catholic politician hasn't really meant anything because most of them are for abortion. I went on and said if anything she is more of a Catholic then Joe Biden could ever hope to be. I also reminded her that her grandfather, Clem James Sheeran was an ardent Catholic who Sarah absolutely adored. She seemed to feel better after that.
Good gravy, if you want to vent, vent. Please. I get bored when everyone's happy.
Do you believe in Satan? I've never known anyone who did. Maybe that is the basic problem.
He could take over Oprah's show, of course, not sure how he would do that with a teleprompter!
Sarah 2012!
I was a political science major at Utah State. Conservative community, liberal humanities department. I was instructed/indoctrinated by Marxists. I thank my lucky stars everyday that the kool-aid eventually wore off.
Most liberal professors I knew had a bit of a God complex themselves, and so it was not surprising so many were atheists
Yess!!
ummm...May I ask...what delicious savory entree you served?
Well, noboby ragged on Tony Blair's wife for giving birth in her 40s.
I wish liberals (supposed feminists) would explain this to me:
If a male 40-something politician decided to have children while in office, it would be no big deal. But if a woman does it, she's a freak?
I like Sarah's response to stupid people who asked her how she would handle her responsibilities as governor/VP and her child duties.
She said: "The same way all the male governors/VPs did it."
I posted this a little bit back, but apparently the Obamas were joking about not wanting to leave Hawaii to go back to DC and resume work.
I found it completely inappropriate (as with most of their comments).
Michelle joked that she wanted to stay, and that she was considering "mounting a coup."
These people have no class. I'm sorry.
You must live a very sheltered life Sandra, I know plenty of people who believe in Satan. Are you an atheist?
<span>Here's a nice little video:</span>

I watched it twice. I'm seriously getting pumped for the 2010 elections! It's going to be swwwweeeeeeeeeeeeet...
Homemade chicken noodle soup.
Once I figured out how to open the can, things went pretty smooth!! haha
Good night, Mrs. Lipstick!
I hope the pipsqueaks are good for you.
Oh yeah... one more question...What providence did the meal originate from???... ;)
Good night!
8000 views and it was just posted yesterday. Interesting.
Okay!!!...Good!!...Excellent!!!...Forget the next question...I asked...
oh...boy..
The first time he/she/it showed up, It sounded like RAM. The second time, not so much. I don't really care. I disagree with whoever it was on their second point, even if it is RAM.
Great analogy, Techno. I love football, and I think you're completely right about this.
A close Mitt advisor was quoted during Sarah's book tour saying: "Americans don't want a Rogue President." (I can picture the dismissive and condescending look on his face while he said it).
Well, there you. Mitt would never be a rogue president. He would simply pretend to be whatever the voters wanted. He would never do anything surprising or unpredictable in advancing his personal values.
Sarah is "unpredictable" and therefore "rogue" because she is true to her values. When faced with a decision, she will never "go with the flow" to avoid negative consequences.
And that right there is how you win the game. Playing to win, rather than playing to avoid negative consequences.
Also, every demonination has it's own niche and flavor. Some people love the tradition of the Catholic church. I love the straight Bible approach of the Baptist. Others, like Sally, seek more of an experiential tone, like with the Pentecostals.
"Whatever it takes" ... he he
