It's Massachusetts. In my original prediction, I had Coakley coming up with an unexpected landslide on the simple basis that there are more Democrats in Massachusetts that have a better machine / GOTV system. Republicans do not have that type of machine in the state because they rarely win.

If Democrats feel threatend and that a Republican is being forced onto them, they could easily come out and vote heavily for Coakley which could cause her to win in an unexpected landslide–which is what I originally was predicting.
But there are just too many polls that are showing the same basic stats (Brown getting 20% dems, majority of Independents, and Coakley getting a handful of Republicans).
Either the polls are incredibly off–and it has been known to happen–or this is going to be run away. Rasmussen saying it’s close and Brown by 1 makes me want to hedge back to my original Coakley landslide prediction… but I don’t understand what he’s seeing without some type of stats. and I simply don't believe in Zogby polls--he's not run one for this race.

Brown is campaigning like Sarah on her book tour, drawing big crowds, speaking with people, meeting with the overflow crowds in secondary locations. He's doing everything right, and if he can't win it, it wasn't winnable.

The speech is scheduled to last 90 minutes (including all the I's and ah's) with 75 minutes dedicated to what we will spin after Palin offers her Fox News commentary.

I honestly don't think they care what we have to say. You saw how many congressmen behaved during the summer town meetings. The only way to get their attention is to pull off a big win in Mass. tomorrow. That would be an earthquake that will cause many Dems to have serious second thoughts if not outright reversal of their positions. It might even pull the Maine sisters into line.

You know what is cool. I was on a tour group of Colonial Williamsburg. I took a break and sat on the steps of the Courthouse. The day after I got home in CA, I was watching an old black and white episode of Lassie I noticed on TV. In the episide, Lassie was lost and traveling through Colonial Williamburg and went to the same Courthouse. I was like "No way, I was just in that same spot." Of course that episode was made probably in the 60's but the Courthouse and steps were still there.
I don't want anybody to get the wrong message, so I apologize ahead of time, but I think if Sarah was a dog, she would be like Lassie: beautiful, loyal, selfless, brave, humble, compassionate. I mean that in a good way.

If the Rombots, including the one writing the post for TheDailyBeast, think Romney has so much to gain from Brown's victory, then why has Romney not campaigned for Brown. Romney, his bots and their accomplices in the LSM are so quick to claim credit when he, Romney, is too chicken to take a stand. Low key, half-hearted fundraising is just not sufficient. Even Giuliani has taken a higher profile. For goodness sake, Romney has strong ties in MA, being a former governor. He needs to be stumping up and down the state for a Republican candidate in the fight of his life.

Well the former is close to what Sarah's position was, according to the Alaskan constitution, as I understand it. He does stand by the restrictions on certain practices, that the Democrats used in that phony 'rape' ad.
Remember the Reagan 80% rule. If you check his overall record he is well within that. Probably about 85-90%. From Mass you are getting no better. Plus he is for parental consent and would fall with the realm of promoting a culture of life and not abortion on demand. Folks this is shock effect if the Dems lose the Senate seat held forever by Ted Kennedy. My view with Scott Brown is he is a better version of Kirk in Illinois and though Whit may kill me but if Kirk wins the Republican Primary I would want him to win the General just to see the Dems lose the seat Obama had. It is called shock effect.
Hopefully Pawlenty or John Thune. It finished Jindal off quickly and would love to see the same for these two.
