Fox News to Broadcast Palin's Tea Party Convention Speech Live (Update: MSNBC and C-Span will Air it Live)
We're still waiting for the final results to come in for the Illinois gubernatorial primary races but it appears that Quinn and Brady will emerge victorious when the final votes are counted.
In other news, Fox News has announced that it will air Governor Palin's keynote address to the National Tea Party Convention Saturday night. CNN "will have a live camera in the hall in order to run excerpts and plans on sending three correspondents and one political contributor to Nashville." C-Span is attempting to carry it live as well. This is great news for those of us not lucky enough to be in Nashville later this week.
Update: MSNBC and C-Span will also air Governor Palin's speech live.

I have a question: Some people are touting that Huckabee had 14,000 donors to his PAC, whereas Palin only had 12,000 --- thus concluding that Huckabee might have more supporters.
All I have to say is...HUH? Huckabee has been collecting supporters since 2007, when he began exploring a run for '08. And he has been actively collecting ever since. Palin, on the other hand, has only been collecting for 1 year, and she hasn't even sent out mass mail to recruit more donors.
If Palin can get 12,000 donors without much active recruiting, what does that say about her ability to gain donors when she really puts her mind to it? And how does Huckabee have an advantage, when he's had THREE years to put together a list?

I wonder how many millions will watch Gov. Palin's speech? You know if there ratings are very high, FOX will rerun the speech at least twice on Sunday, and maybe even again the following weekend. CSPAN also always repeats stuff. CNN will probably change its mind, and broadcast it live as well. It will be the most watched speech by a private citizen ever. I guess all those pro-CPAC bloggers who have been boycotting her Facebook columns are very very disappointed.

I woke about 2am with a thought about Sarah. OUR VOICES ARE SARAH"S FUEL, to fight this fight with us. She has put herself OUT THERE for us! She could go back to Alaska and live a good life. BUT, the servant that she is, she feels obligated as an American, to help us save this country. We are in a WAR folks! With an administration that does not like this country too much, and want to change it FUNDAMENTALLY! obama said so! Sarah is creating an Alaskan machine, lining up her soldiers, setting her battle grounds, preparing her arcinal. Laying the foundation, so that people can come together, and defeat this administration. Sarah sees who they are and has them in her TARGET!
I have never in my life, seen a person as a polital figure, be so in tune with the people, knowing SHE represents US. Wanting to listen to the people and know there concerns. It's just truly amazing! This must be a really big speech that motivates Americans, placates the GOP establishment, and shows the TPM is for real and is a permanent fixture in American politics.

I hope they let C-SPAN cover as much of the convention as possible, without giving away stragegy to the other side. It would show millions of other people who are politically interested - but not yet active - that there is a way for them to participate. Plus they have the most complete and neutral coverage of any network.
Are these donors just those that give $150 or more at one time or do they count those that give say $25 on a monthly basis, just wondering.

Techno I expressed my frustration/concerns about the questions that Kos had but I buy the rest. I believe they have 42% non-decided. About right for an election that nobody has announced they are running and campaigning will not start for almost a year. Sarah's 16%, which is 5% more than anybody else on the have decided is about right. It also plays into my belief that to win Sarah will have to do well campaigning, interviewing, laying out a policy and debating next year. IF she doesn't she will lose and deserves to lose. I have confidence though she will do well. She is building a strong team. Getting consulting advice from Randy on Foreign Policy is huge and let us all be honest JR and RAM are diamonds in the rough.

He focused on running a grassroots campaign and visited people everywhere, but focused on downstate and rural Illinois--the same groups of people who love Sarah! :) I think if Sarah were to run and use the same strategy, she could win Illinois, a good source of primary delegates! :) Who knows, IL may be winnable in the general by that time! :)

Despite previously published accounts addressing all of the unique names the Palins gave their children, including Trig, Sullivan dismisses the same account from Going Rogue to assert that Palin actually concocted the name specifically to mock her child's unfortunate condition.
Sullivan's Palin <span><span><span>obsession</span></span></span> is nothing more than hate taking a truly vile, ugly form. And <span><span><span>the Atlantic</span></span></span> editors that allow it to persist are every bit as responsible, ugly and pathetic, as is the repulsive little faggot Sullivan has become. And he merits the most pejorative slur one can attach to him.

It appears either you did not go beyond Grade 10 in school or did not make enough money in life to actually own property and pay property taxes. If you did you might know something about how assessments and property tax works. The property tax assessment department assesses the value of property every year and sends out a property tax bill for that. I don't know of any local government that requires a property owner to insist on paying more than they are assessed for... assessing is the duty of the property tax assessor. And, if you really can read properly you will see from all the documentation that Sarah Palin paid exactly what the tax assessor asked her to... nothing more - nothing less.
Here is a suggestion for you Hannan... why don't you pay more this year in taxes than you are supposed to since that seems to be what you are suggesting for Sarah.
So, how about it if Hannan goes back to school or gets a better job than as a trash can cleaner at the local sanitation collection station.

Or how about I take a page out of the Palins book and build some new cabins on my property and conveniently forget to let the city know...and when I get my tax bill and notice that they still have not figured it out breath a sigh of relief that I got away with it for another year.
Oh thats right that wouldnt work, where I live we have building codes and inspectors who would know, but where Palin lives they dont, so you have to declare new buildings yourself since you dont have to get approval or inspections when you build there.
