Nicole Coulter: A Closer Look Inside Know-It-All-Land

More satire from Nicole Coulter...

Some of you are asking some very smart questions. It’s disorienting. So, I’ve decided to stick around. You want to know things, like, “Are you a Republican, Nicole? Where is this Know-It-All-Syndicate of which you speak? What’s the difference between liberal know-it-alls and RINOs?

As my GOP associate, Stockholm Syndrome, has explained to you hillbillies: liberal and RINO know-it-alls share 50% of the same Palin hatred. We both think she’s an ignorant rube. We’re in total agreement on that fact. Where we might disagree is on just how badly we think Palin could destroy America if given the chance.

On the liberal side, from which I’m “recovering,” I can tell you that we see Palin as the walking apocalypse. She is clearly a threat to civilization as we know it simply by waking up every morning. How Alaska has managed to not nuke itself in her reign of misguided terror is truly amazing. We think the state dodged a major bullet when she decided to resign. Nevertheless, she’s a quitter. And we won’t vote for quitters.

On the RINO side, the concern is more insular – what a Palin-led-Congressional takeover or heaven-forbid Palin presidential nomination would do for the image of the Republican party. Would they become laughingstocks forever? Would they have to wear disguises to their cocktail parties, feign accents and pretend to be visiting foreign dignitaries?

On these issues, there is much room for bi-partisan agreement. That’s why we formed the Know-It-All-Syndicate, a bi-partisan think tank, if you will, to save the world from Sarah Palin. Some of you want to know “where” we’re located, the exact nature of our mission and activities, and of course, the names of our members.

We’re not going to tell you that. But we will say that we are everywhere, in the highest echelons of media and government, in universities and public schools. Yes, everywhere there is fear of unbridled patriotism, fear of hockey moms with lipstick, fear of special needs kids, fear of sparsely populated states and fear of moose hunting.

We gather together in huddled masses to protect ourselves from radical free markets, and Tea Partiers. We are the anti-resistance, clinging bitterly to our lattes and our superiority complexes, hoping this hope-and-change thingy turns around soon, and that the little people still continue to believe us when we accuse them of being racist.

We don’t have any official meetings, or a membership list. We pretty much know each other when we see one another on the street, exchange a knowing glance that says: “Palin must be stopped” and then it’s off to work where we labor ceaselessly to convince you that Sarah Palin has no chance, Sarah Palin couldn’t get elected dog catcher, Sarah Palin has no intelligence, Sarah Palin is a joke.

We keep writing all that stuff – pleased when you believe it. The more you cower, the more we smile. For every Palin supporter who says: “I love Sarah, I’d vote for her even if she were a Democrat, but she could never win,” our work is complete.

We provide you with no alternatives but one: Give up on supporting Sarah Palin. On the GOP side, we lament, “Oh, if only there were another Reagan out there. Maybe Paul Ryan, Mike Pence, or John Thune. Well, we’ll just have to keep looking, there’s bound to be someone great out there we can believe in.”

What we hope you won’t realize is that there is someone great out there you can believe in. And not only are we doing everything in our power to destroy her – we’re hoping you’ll help us.

Funny, I just came from an article on the Strata-Sphere where AJ Strata was talking about how this wrecking of the economy is deliberate, not an accident. Of course, it's the Democrats in power who are doing the wrecking, but you can bet that, come election time, the Democrats will be telling the voters that the Republicans (and Sarah Palin in particular) will destroy America if elected.

You can tell what the lefties are up to by what they accuse their enemies of planning to do.

Bravo, Bravo!! Thank you RD!

Brilliant!

Another brilliant piece, Nicole! So when will the Chive launch? :)

Don't be so secretive though. What's the "Know-it-all" motto that they have to recite in both Latin and French at every meeting? Who is the keynote speaker at the next meeting? Noonan? Parker? Frum? Will? Dowd? Colin Powell?

How did you get on the e-mail list so that you can receive the latest meme about Sarah? What is the latest meme? She's stupid? She's deviously crafty? She's irrelevant? She only appeals to the fringe? She's unelectable? Throw us a bone here. :)

ROFL ... Good morning by the way.

Only one observation, the know it all brigade wants folks to give up on the one leader who can (excitement, cheers, crowds) for the likes of Mitch Daniels, Haley Barbour, and Mitt Rommney, (snoring) because ... who knows why, just because.

John.Glube,  March 1, 2010 10:01 AM

FYI - on a more serious note, now we have Mitch Daniels Mania Sweeping the Nation.

I love the use of the 2 phrases in this quote. It's all about planting the seeds of doubt. To try and persuade Palin supporters to not really be Palin supporters. These same seeds were tried against Reagan in 1980 and he overcame it. Nice article Nicole.

5 straight days of excellence Nicole!  Bravo!

It amazes me that every time a Republican is doing a good job, the media starts touting him for president or vice president.  Look how Mark Sanford was getting noticed as someone that was supposedly conservative.  We all know how that turned out.
They deliberately snub Sarah and want us to look at the bright, shiney object of their adorations for a day or so.  Yet, Sarah keeps on keeping on.  She writes, she speaks, she travels, she campaigns, she is on TV, she is everywhere.  She is saving us and yet they deliberately try to distract us.  It's way too obvious.  They think they can control us.  Ha!  Not gonna happen.
Right on Nicole.  There is truth to your satire.  That sort of thinking is so foreign to me, but I know that is where Libs are in their thought processes.

oh my! :-)

Nicole

Im on to you! Im watching you! Coming here preying on our public educated class of moose hunting hillbillies and bible-toting gun-waving tea-baggers like you're one of us. Double Know-It-All agents are a dime a dozen and when we catch them they are banished to Alaskan where they will live the rest of their lives holding moose eye balls, reading nothing, running for town councils and mayor and Governor... and accepting VP nominations of which they are clearly overly qualified, writing multiple million dollar Best Sellers and having the whole nation clamoring to pay you $100,000 to hear your every word.... OH! crap this didn't turn out the way it should... your actually going to be experiencing your God given life to It's fullest, most satisfying and rewarding purpose.

Sorta like, "Lions, and Tigers, and Bears---OH, MY!"
GREAT post, Nicole, as usual!
Now for The Great Reveal of THE TRUTH:
that "saving" liberal sexual mores is the issue that undergirds much (most?) of the hatred of Sarah and conservatives!
Go for it:  write about how the Dems MUST save "sexual choices" ----or, as the bumper sticker says, "Keep Abortion Legal" (ignoring "Ethical")  ---- you know, to keep the monies flowing from abortion mills, etc.

Nicole (aka Recovering Dem),  March 1, 2010 2:32 PM

Ooooh ... yeah, we wouldn't want anyone "punished with a baby." It's a touchy topic. Must consult with my associates. I will get back to you MM. Keep the suggestions flowing! :-)

Nicole, I second Whitney on the <span>the Chive launch, thats a great idea.

Hey BB, now you're talking our language. You may just be qualified for our syndicate :-)

Bestbud,  March 1, 2010 6:06 PM

Nicole

LOL!!!... tell you the truth, after I wrote it and read it, I couldn't make sense of it! Is that the way to get into the Syndicate?... Syndicate!, sounds intriguing and mysterious.
