The Republicans are rolling out their big guns this weekend, as the 2010 political campaigns head into the home stretch.
Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin is the featured speaker Saturday afternoon in Orlando at a big GOP rally. Republican National Committeeman Michael Steele and U.S. Sen. George LeMieux are also scheduled to speak at the 3 p.m. rally at the Orlando World Center Marriott.
Marco Rubio, the GOP nominee to succeed LeMieux in the Senate, is also on the schedule.
Rick Scott, the Republican candidate for governor, won’t make it. But Cabinet candidates Jeff Atwater, running for chief financial officer, and U.S. Rep. Adam Putnam, running for agriculture commissioner, are among the speakers. Two GOP congressional candidates, Dennis Ross and Sandy Adams, will also speak at the rally.
