As we’ve noted before, as with every transition technical issues will inevitably arise. It appears we are currently experiencing some technical issues, as a result we had to switch off various plugins to determine which one is causing the problem. The two most noticeable ones are the login button on the top right and the “Selected Post” widget on the side bar.
As a result we have turned off new user registrations, existing users can log in via the following link http://www.conservatives4palin.com/wp-login.php (Once logged in click on the site name on the top right of the dashboard to reach the homepage).
Please refer to this post for updates.
As a side note, due to the transition some verification emails were not sent. Anyone that registered within the last 24 hours has been manually verified and can now log in using the user name and password used to register.
Update by Sinistar: The plugin that allows users to select an image to be used as an avatar has also been temporarily disabled. In the interim, if you would like an avatar for your account, you can get one at Gravatar.
Update II: We’re getting a lot of emails about this, it appears that people are not reading this post. Please read it will answer the questions most people are emailing us about. We will have more information about this later on today.
Update III: In the interim to register send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with your Name, Email Address and preferred User Name, we will set you up, send you a temporary password that you will be able to change when you log in.
I know technical issues can frustrate people, but these things are inevitable, some things can just not be checked before a site goes live and traffic builds up. We are working really hard to get everything resolved. We apologize for the inconvenience. We promise to have all issues resolved as soon as possible.
