John Zogby | Romney Standing Still
As I look at how Mitt Romney is doing in our Republican presidential horserace poll, it seems like (as Yogi Berra said) “déjà vu all over again.”
In a phone poll we conducted in late February 2007, Republican primary and caucus voters placed Romney third at 9% in a hypothetical field of 11. Now, four years later, an IBOPE Zogby Interactive survey finds Romney at that same 9% and third out of 11 prominently mentioned candidates. Is the former Massachusetts Governor again destined to look good in profile, but fail to win the hearts and minds of Republican voters?
