Poll: Obama Wins Less Than 50% of the Vote Against Governor Palin

A new poll shows Obama under 50% against Governor Palin. He leads her by a 48-38 margin but the crosstabs show that there are around three times as many undecided Republicans than Democrats and that conservatives comprise a strong majority of the undecided voters.

Keep in mind in every matchup poll between Obama and Governor Palin that she’ll likely win nearly all of the undecideds not only because nearly all of the undecideds are Republican-leaning voters; she’ll win nearly all of the undecideds because if you aren’t voting for Barack Obama over Sarah Palin at this point, you’ll never vote for Barack Obama over Sarah Palin.

By the way, Romney led Obama by a 44-42 margin in January but Obama has taken a 45-40 lead against him.
