Andrea Tantaros: Why Can’t That Mean Sarah Palin Stop Picking on the Mittens?

And instead of using her star power to help the field as it tries to make its  case against the President, she is using it against some contenders.

During her Freedom Tour, Palin sharply criticized former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt  Romney, then the presumptive front-runner, on his home turf. “In my opinion,  any mandate coming from government is not a good thing,” Palin told reporters  during a visit to the Bunker  Hill Monument in Massachusetts  when talking about Romney’s health care plan. The Massachusetts law will be one  of the reasons that it “will be a big challenge” for Romney to appeal to Tea  Party supporters, Palin said.

She’s also had harsh words for Romney’s position on the Washington debt  fight, saying that, “I do not have respect for what he has done through this  debt increase debate . . . he waited until it was a done deal.”
