In two posts by Chuck, Jr., we learn about a driver, Darrell, who loves Governor Palin and a woman who doesn’t view her quite so favorably.
Our driver arrived shortly after and we loaded up for the ride to the airport. Our driver’s name was Darrell, and somehow our conversation drifted to Alaska again. Dad asked him if he’d ever heard of Sarah Palin, and Darrell replied, “Are you kidding? That’s my girl!”
He told us that his passion was ballroom dancing, and he told us to relay a message to Bristol thanking her for exposing so many new people to the genre. He mentioned that many more people are taking up dancing thanks to DWTS and people like Bristol, who show that even if you’ve never danced before, it’s never too late to learn. That’s great, but I don’t think dad is going to break any doors down to sign up.

We stopped at a Starbucks to grab a bite and I brought my computer in with me. I was trying to learn to cut and paste from Word (like so many of you told me to do) when a woman stopped by and asked if I needed help. I said yes, and she walked me through the steps. Right after she helped me send the post I sent earlier today, dad asked her, “Do you know who you’re helping there?” She said, “A really nice man.” Dad said, “That’s Sarah Palin’s brother.” She immediately gave me the look of death. I’m sure if she realized that she was helping me post something on a pro-Sarah site, it would have been even worse. Dad and I both got a chuckle out of her reaction and we made a point to go out of our way to thank her before we left.
