Expressing how many Americans feel about Washington, D.C., cavorting about while the rest of us scrounge for work, Gov. Palin sent out this tweet:
And some were all:
and tried to claim that she attended in 2011:
Except Mr. Keys didn’t read before he RT:
“…for Palin’s not actually expected at tonight’s White House Correspondents’ Association dinner, Van Susteren’s husband John Coale told us: “She’s just doing the brunch and the after-parties.”
But some on the right side of the football stands still bought into it:
“Sarah Palin boasted to a group of anti-abortion advocates Saturday that she had a chance to attend the White House Correspondents’ Dinner-but chose to spend her time with them instead.”
This isn’t the first time Gov. Palin has set up the media. Remember in 2010 when she said: “Party like it’s 1773!” And Gwen Ifill was all:
Real quick: What happened in Boston in 1773 involving ‘Tea” and “party?” No Googling, Gwen!
Now some say that the use of the phrase: “Assclown” was undignified.
I rest my case.
I hope they all enjoyed their moment.
Because we’re going to enjoy ours.
