This rant is hilarious. And on a cold, snowy Monday morning it brought a big smile to my face. Hopefully it will to yours as well.
I guess now that Bashir’s gone, it’s a race to the bottom at MSNBC to see who can say the most moronic things and attract the key low-information demographic which drives their business model. To be sure, there’s going to be intense competition. Last week Chris Matthews unleashed his opening salvo when he uncorked his Obama “came amongst us” inanity followed by his equating of GOP opposition to Obama to that of South Africa’s apartheid government throwing Nelson Mandela in jail. Clearly Harris-Perry was feeling the pressure of the Tingles challenge, so the women who famously donned tampon earrings to show solidarity with Kermit Gosnell’s cause reached deep into her empty head (I’m assuming she reached up rather than down) and pulled out the tedious race-baiting gambit on display above. Now she’s on the board, so to speak. I can’t wait to see how Schultz, Sharpton, Dyson, Maddow, Hayes, O’Donnell and the rest of Team MSNBC respond to the challenge. Game on!
One final thought: If MSNBC thought Obama’s signature law was going well, or they expected it to be going well in the future, would they consider the moniker ObamaCare to be a “derogatory term” which was “conceived of by a group of wealthy white men” so they could use it to “shame and divide and demean” those who are associated with it? I think not.
