U.S. Sen. Joni Ernst will deliver the Republican rebuttal to President Barack Obama’s State of the Union Address next Tuesday.
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell pegged Ernst, an Iowa Republican elected last November, for the nationally prominent speaking role in a press conference on Thursday afternoon.
