That Time Sgt. Dakota Meyer First Met The Palin Family

Sgt. Dakota Meyer first met Sarah Palin and her family in the spring of 2014. The ‘Medal of Honor’ recipient visited Wasilla for a featured episode of ‘Amazing America With Sarah Palin’.
Governor Palin met Sgt. Meyer at the home of her father Chuck Heath Sr. The former science teacher took Dakota on a tour of his extensive collection of nature artifacts.
Next, it was on to the workshop of Todd Palin at the family home for some man-cave conversation.
Dakota took the wheel of one of the Palin family vehicles for some four-wheeling adventure up the Baldy trail.
Governor Palin asked Dakota to talk a bit about his experience in the Ganjgal Valley. It was for actions during this battle that Sgt. Meyer was awarded the Medal Of Honor. Read more about the ‘Battle of Ganjgal’ HERE
The episode concluded with Todd Palin taking Sgt. Meyer and son Track Palin up for a spin into the Alaska skies on his floatplane.
