Donald Trump answers Nikki Haley’s criticism of him, telling WRKO’s Howie Carr that people should be angry.

The South Carolina Governor delivered the Republican response to President Obama’s State of the Union address by taking swipes at the GOP front runner saying, “During anxious times, it can be tempting to follow the siren call of the angriest voices.” Haley readily admitted in follow-up interviews that she was referring specifically to Donald Trump.

“People are angry”, Trump told Carr, “and why shouldn’t they be angry”, citing Syrian refugees immigrating to the United States, ObamaCare premiums, and a military that has been “decimated” in recent years.

Trump added that Haley is “very, very weak on illegal immigration.”

Asked if Haley is in the running as his vice presidential candidate, Trump said, “So far she’s not doing so well.”
