Trump foreign policy projects “great strength”
So says Jim Gilmore who also competed for the 2016 Republican nomination.
Long considered an expert on foreign policy, the former Virginia governor chaired the Gilmore Commission for Presidents Clinton and Bush, and is a former RNC Chairman.
“He mentioned that he was putting American interests first six times in the speech.”
“He’s talked about American workers and making sure they can secure their jobs four times in the speech.”
He’s talked about American humiliation and weakness four times in the speech.”
“These are the principle messages that Donald Trump gave in the speech.”
Gilmore caught MSNBC anchor Jose Diaz Balart off guard when Balart asked sardonically if there was any American politician who wouldn’t “put America first.” Gilmore fired the taunt back at Balart pointing toward President Obama’s “philosophy” to “accommodate” other nations above American interests.
