Governor Sarah Palin is rejoining the campaign trail on behalf of Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump.
After a long absence following husband Todd’s serious injuries in a snow machine accident last March that abruptly took her away from regular campaign appearances, Palin will stump for Trump in Michigan this Sunday.
The Detroit News broke the story:
Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin is scheduled to be in Michigan on Sunday campaigning on behalf of Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump.

NBC News reporter Kelly O’Donnell confirms, and adds that Palin will also be making a campaign appearance in North Carolina, and will join Trump at the victory celebration in New York City on Tuesday night.
Palin will now get the opportunity she was denied during the 2008 presidential election and campaign in Michigan. The 2008 McCain campaign pulled itself out of contention in Michigan in early October of 2008, much against the wishes of the vice presidential nominee.
The McCain campaign decided this week that the battleground state of Michigan may be out of reach for the Republican ticket this year – a move that’s drawn criticism from one prominent dissenter: VP nominee Sarah Palin.
In an interview with Fox News Friday the Republican vice presidential candidate appeared to be disappointed with the decision and said she still wants to take a stab at winning the state that hasn’t voted for a Republican presidential candidate in two decades.
