Federal judge tosses out Clock Boy’s discrimination lawsuit

Remember Clock Boy? The junior jihadist who disassembled a store bought digital alarm clock and placed the contents into a pencil box that very much looked like a bomb.

He then brought his “device” to school and showed it off in class, whereupon his teacher confiscated the device and alerted the police.

Officers arrested Clock Boy (aka Ahmed Mohammed), charging him with possessing a ‘hoax bomb’.  The charges were later dropped, authorities unable to determine ‘malicious intent’.

Clock Boy responded to the gracious dismissal of the charges by filing a civil rights lawsuit in Federal Court against the City of Irvine (Texas), and the Irvine School District alleging racial and religious discrimination.

Yesterday, U.S. District Court Judge Sam A. Lindsay dismissed Clock Boy’s lawsuit.

Court papers obtained by DailyMail.com reveal on May 18, a judge dismissed the entire case. The lawsuit sought unspecified compensatory and punitive damages along with attorney fees.

The judge wrote: ‘Plaintiff does not allege any facts from which this court can reasonably infer that any IISD employee intentionally discriminated against Ahmed Mohamed based on his race or religion.’

Further, he notes that the suit failed to identify any policy, custom, or practice of the City that was allegedly the moving force behind any violation of Ahmed’s Fifth Amendment rights. (Daily Mail)

So ends the tale of Clock Boy with the dismissal of his ‘Fake Lawsuit’.

See ya in the funny papers kid.
