Donald J. Trump: Good For Our Mental Health

The already questionable mental health of liberals and “Never Trumpers” deteriorates even further each and every time President Trump appears on television. With every tweet he fires off, heads explode. The mere mention of the man’s name could lead to a snowflake choking on a latte. It’s that bad. But, when you ask a professional, it seems Donald Trump is actually good for our mental health, particularly when it concerns Hurricanes Harvey and Irma.

Dr. Karen Ruskin, a psychotherapist and marriage and family therapist, appeared on The Palin Update radio program this past week to discuss mental health issues when dealing with our latest natural disasters. Dr. Ruskin made it clear that the way our leaders conduct themselves during such times goes a long way in shaping our well being. She contends President Trump, Vice President Pence, and Governors Abbott (R-TX) and Scott (R-FL) have answered the bell in this case.

“Not only is it important for leaders to step up during a time like this, it’s imperative,” said Ruskin. “I’m so thankful to see that is what’s going on. Our leaders by that very title, they are role models for us, and to see involvement reminds us of the importance of us getting involved too.” Americans have indeed come out in droves to help those impacted in Texas and Florida behind President Trump’s lead.
