Led by Senators Chuck Grassley and Lindsey Graham, the United States Senate Committee on the Judiciary have referred Trump Dossier author Christopher Steele to both the Department of Justice and the FBI for criminal investigation. The letter was sent to Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and FBI Director Christopher Wray.
The letter states that Steele potentially violated Federal law, specifically 18 U.S.C. § 1001.
